I know, but the odds on Torres were too low to make it worth the trip—and since he isn't exactly around the corner from me, I wasn't sure if I could even make it in time. 😁

I ended up taking both of them in a single at Favorite.

Crotone vs Pro Vercelli | 1 @ 1.80

The home side is absolutely killing it right now—they're basically top four in the league—while Pro V is sitting pretty in second-to-last place when they travel. It’s a massive game for Crotone because they desperately need these three points just to stay out of the relegation zone, whereas Pro V is basically already mentally checked out of the division. But look, you gotta mention the elephant in the room... the owner over at Crotone is a total loose cannon. Seriously, this guy is aggressive and incredibly pushy—he’s known for trying to influence games from the sidelines, putting all this crazy pressure on things behind the scenes, especially when his team is playing at home and the stakes are this high... it's sketchy as hell.

Pro Vercelli is hands down the worst visiting team in the league.😉

I was reading up on it and they're actually short-handed too;
defenders Marco Modolo (18/2), Alessandro Vinci (3/0), and that nobody Murante (0/0) are all out, plus they're missing attacking mid Gianni Fabiano (14/2)... and even Horacio Erpen (7/1) is looking questionable at best.

rapidhound19 said:Right now, I’m looking at Newcastle vs. Benfica—over 10.5 corners at 1.70 feels like a solid play. Newcastle seems much more composed in the league following last week's win. They'll likely field their strongest lineup, and I expect an open game. Benfica isn't afraid to push forward either; both sides rely heavily on wing play, so plenty of corners should be on the menu.

It might be irrelevant, but I just caught this in a match preview:

"Interestingly, Benfica didn't concede a single corner in either of their matches last week."

Also, we have Mike Klein officiating—he has a bit of a reputation for handing out penalties or red cards, so don't be surprised if we see some drama today. 😁

Olympicos vs Panathinaikos Athens - Panata at @ 1.80

Olympicos hasn't conceded seven goals, and Panathinaikos hasn't given up three. Olympicos locked up the championship title ages ago—now Panata is fighting for a super important spot in the Champions League.

Look, I know the rivalry is massive—all the chaos and everything—but I seriously doubt the players care *that* much about it right now.😈 We need to snap this streak of mutual results, and since Panata is way more motivated based on the standings, taking that 1.80 for them to score is a total must.

It's the playoff semifinal matchup in the MLS between the regular season winners—who are basically league rookies at this point—Sydney and Brisbane. The last meeting wrapped up 2-1 in favor of Sydney (though those first two goals were pretty much isolated incidents). Honestly, I’m leaning toward the over here because the home side is on an absolute tear—they've found the back of the net in 12 straight matches, and looking back at their last 17, they scored in 16 of them. They tend to trade blows, too, giving up goals just as often as they score. Meanwhile, the visitors barely scraped into the playoffs, but after knocking off Adelaide in the first round, they're more than capable of finding a way past the Wanderers' defense at least once.

Seattle Sounders vs. Portland Timbers Over 3.5 goals @ 2.10

Look, even if they haven't been quite as dominant as they were maybe a decade ago—they’ve definitely lost some of that edge—Seattle is still basically a powerhouse in the league.
Today they’re facing a total underdog, an opponent they have a perfect 100% win record against.
They always find a way to beat them, and honestly, there’s always at least three goals flying around when these two meet.
The last two times they played at home, the scoreline was identical... just totally predictable.
11/04/12, Seattle Sounders - Portland Timbers 5 : 0
06/30/12, Seattle Sounders - Portland Timbers 5 : 0

Portland—or the University of Oregon squad—had the absolute worst defense in the league last season, giving up 82 goals, which is like 2.3 per game. Just embarrassing.
And they couldn't even find the back of the net in the first two rounds, losing both matches without scoring a single thing.
I’m expecting Seattle to pull it together today and really punish this weak side with a high-scoring performance.
Last week, they absolutely dismantled their opponent at home, winning 5-0.
I don't see any reason why we wouldn't see another blowout today...
If the visitors manage to pull anything off, it'll be a miracle.

Atlanta United vs. Orlando City Over 3.5 goals @ 2.12

The home side opened things up with a 2-2 draw against Columbus at home.
Then they went on the road to face Chicago and got shut out 2-0. Not great.
Today they welcome a team that’s actually started the season strong with two straight wins.
But here's the thing: in Atlanta's last 13 official home games, only two of them saw fewer than three goals. They play high-scoring soccer.
Meanwhile, Orlando has been involved in "Over 3" games in all three of their matchups this season (including a cup match).
Last time these two met:
10/07/06, Atlanta United - Orlando City 1 : 5

Regarding injuries, Atlanta is missing a few key pieces today:
defender Fredric Jonson, along with midfielders Gabrijel Petrovic and Panajotis Dimitriadis.
As for the visitors, they're short-handed too:
their veteran defensive anchor Lars Mathias Floren is out, followed by defenders David Wiklnader and Nikola Tkalcic, plus they won't see striker Rawez Lawman, who hasn't even gotten any minutes yet.
Both squads are dealing with defensive headaches, so expecting a goal fest isn't even a stretch.
Atlanta tends to go "over" at home, while Orlando is playing great early on—they score, but they also leak goals—and with those defensive absences, things could get messy.

Nashville SC vs. DC United Both Teams to Score @ 1.70

The visitors are looking pretty thin because they're missing a massive trio:
striker Vleminckx, defender Kulusic, and midfielder Durmaz.
On the home side, they're also missing a key defender, Jan Rajnoch.
Both teams have decent starting lineups, but when you start pulling players out like this, you really start feeling the impact on the pitch.
Nashville is definitely closer to a win, but I wouldn't be surprised if the visitors create 4 or 5 good chances during the 90 minutes... so I'm expecting them to nick at least one goal.
Interestingly, the last six meetings between these two ended in draws.
And only one of those was a scoreless 0-0 stalemate.
I’m calling for both teams to find the net today.
The away side is weakened but playing without pressure, while the home side will be hunting for the win.
They've got plenty of offensive talent like Enerama, Kilic, and Grosick who consistently produce at home.

FC Cincinnati vs. Louisville City Over 3.5 goals @ 1.45

Cincinnati is averaging about 3.3 goals per game.
Louisville is sitting right around 3.5.
The home team should come out on top; they're better and they want to finish the season on a high note. They might even have a shot at making something happen in this final stretch since they're only 3 points behind the leaders.
They'll be playing without their keeper, Luuk Koopmans, who is out for the rest of the year. Tough break.
On the bright side, Muslu Nalbantoglu and Ruud van den Dungen are returning to the lineup.
Though, whether striker de Ruyter is fit to play is still a question mark.
Cincinnati is going for the win and they should probably take it, but the visitors are playing with nothing to lose—totally relaxed with no stakes left—so I think goals are much more likely here.
Earlier in the season, Cincinnati traveled to pick up a 3-1 win over Louisville.
As for the visitors, they'll be missing:
youngster Erwin Nuytinck, Dennis de Haan, and Daan Smith, plus midfielders Richard Stolte and Rick Kruys.
I'm expecting plenty of action, as their matches usually rack up a ton of goals:

Man, I’m telling you... if you're looking at this matchup, you gotta go big. Sandhausen vs. Braunschweig? It’s a total toss-up, but I'm leaning heavily into the over here—3 plus. Seriously, these teams play like they've got nothing to lose once the whistle blows... just pure chaos. I'm putting my money on 2.10 odds for that spread. It’s a gamble, sure, but watching these guys defend is enough to make anyone want to throw their remote at the TV... just pure madness out there.

Both these squads are absolutely desperate for points right now—it’s a total pressure cooker. You’ve got the home team sitting dead last, basically fighting for their lives just to stay in the league, while the visitors are out there trying to prove they actually belong in the big leagues after that recent promotion... honestly, it's gonna be a scrap.
Man, Sandhausen’s defense is an absolute joke—easily the worst squad in the Second Division right now. It’s actually painful to watch... they’re playing like they’ve forgotten how to tackle or even stand in a line. Seriously, look at the numbers: in their last 12 matches, they’ve blown past the over line 10 times. Just total chaos on the pitch... you can't even trust them to hold a lead for five minutes...
Man, these guys are absolutely wild—they’re scoring like crazy but they can't stop a damn thing on defense... I mean, they're averaging like 2.7 goals per game at home, which is just pure chaos... honestly, it's a total mess out there...
Look, I’m telling you—it’s not just some one-off disaster in a single game... if you actually look at those last 12 matches, they haven't just failed to keep a clean sheet once, they've been getting pierced by goals in every single damn one of them... absolute joke...
Man, I was looking at the stats today and it’s actually insane—SV Sandhausen is absolutely killing it when it comes to those 3+ goal games. They’ve got more high-scoring affairs than anyone else in the entire league... we're talking 18 total. It's just wild how much action they're seeing compared to everyone else... honestly, it's kind of ridiculous...
Man, you look at the stats for Braunschweig and it’s actually insane—they haven't conceded a single goal in their last two matches... out of their last twelve played in the 2nd Division. Just absolutely locked down lately... it's wild how they've tightened up that defense...
The second-place squad is absolutely killing it as the league's best traveling team—I mean, seriously, they’ve hit the road 14 times and only let in 14 goals... that's a clean average of exactly one goal conceded per away game. Just insane...

When it comes to the guys back home...
First up, we got Ischoonat pulling off that save in goal—clean sheet at 26/0—then you’ve got Kittner holding down the defense with a solid 5/0... but man, the midfield was where the real action happened. Nico Klotz went absolutely nuclear at 13/1, followed by Kristijan Gilbo sitting pretty at 8/0, and then Simon Tuting just tearing it up with a 14/1... absolute madness...
The visitors are coming up short...
So we’re looking at the lineup, and honestly? It’s a total mess. We've got Deniz Dogan and Ken Reichel out on the defensive end—missing them is a massive blow—and then there's Kruppke, who is still stuck on the injury list... seriously, when is that guy actually going to be healthy? Just a complete disaster for our depth...

So, we kicked things off at home for the season, and let me tell you—it was a total nail-biter. We managed to scrape by with a 2-1 win against San Jose, but man, it was stressful... definitely not the smooth start I was hoping for, but hey, a win is a win, right?

I’m looking at Dundalk vs. Derry City—over 2.5 goals at 2.18... honestly, this one smells like a goal fest. Both these sides have been playing some absolutely chaotic, end-to-end football lately, and frankly, their defensive lines look like they've been through a blender. You've got teams that just can't seem to keep a clean sheet to save their lives, so if you're looking for some action, this is where I'd put my money. It’s a bit of a gamble, sure, but with the way these matches have been unfolding, there's no way we aren't seeing at least three goals...

Look, I’m just gonna say it—and I don't care if people want to get all worked up about it—but Dundalk is playing more efficient football than any other squad in the Premier League right now. Seriously... they aren't wasting movements, they aren't chasing shadows, they're just clinical. It's actually kind of insane how much more productive they look compared to those big-money teams that just run around aimlessly for ninety minutes...
Man, they’ve been absolutely tearing it up lately—we're looking at a straight six-game heater where they've dropped at least three goals every single night... just relentless...

Man, they just gave up 22 goals in only seven games... I mean, seriously? That's absolutely pathetic—it's basically like leaving the front door wide open and inviting the entire league to just walk in and take whatever they want... Seven games and you're leaking goals like a sieve... It's just embarrassing at this point...

So, I was looking at the stats for Derry City—they've played 7 games so far—and man, they are absolutely tearing it up. We're talking 20 goals scored in just seven matches... and get this, their goal differential is sitting at a ridiculous 18 to 2. Just totally dominant... honestly, if they keep playing like this, it’s going to be a slaughter out there...
Honestly, they’re playing way better on the road—way more convincing, way more clinical... and get this, they haven't even conceded a single goal yet. Just totally dominant...
So, looks like the team is playing without their star trio today... man, what a disaster. Seriously, how do you even go into a matchup like this without your heavy hitters? It’s absolute madness—just total chaos for the lineup. You’d think management would have planned for this, but nope, here we are, staring at a depleted roster and wondering if anyone actually cares about winning... honestly, it's just ridiculous...
So we've got defender Stewart Greacen sitting there with absolutely nothing to show for it—zero stats, nothing—while Kevin Deery is out in the midfield grinding through two appearances without a single goal or assist to his name... and then you look at Sean Houston, who actually managed to put up three goals in two games. I mean, come on, that’s a massive gap in production right there... just wildly inconsistent stuff if you ask me...
So, we finally got Stephen O’Donnell back in the lineup for the home squad, but honestly? I’m not buying it... even if he's technically "recovered," his performance is looking super shaky right now—it's anyone's guess if he can actually hold things together out there...
Both squads are running a 4-2-2 formation—honestly, just a total tactical snooze-fest if you ask me...
I can't believe I’m even sitting here typing this out—honestly, my blood pressure is already spiking just thinking about Friday night... but here we go. We’ve got a massive matchup coming up, and if you think this is going to be some laid-back, easy stroll through the park, you clearly haven't been paying attention to how the season is unfolding. The home side is looking like a complete mess right now—just totally disorganized. They’ve been playing like they’ve forgotten how to coordinate a basic midfield transition, and frankly, it’s embarrassing to watch. They’re heading into this game with zero momentum, and if they don't tighten up that defensive line immediately, they’re going to get absolutely shredded. It’s like watching a high school JV team try to play against a pro squad... just painful. On the flip side, the visitors? Man, they are looking dangerous. They’ve got that clinical, almost surgical edge to their offense lately—it's frustrating because you know they’re just waiting for one little slip-up from the home defense to punish them. One misplaced pass, one lazy step in coverage, and boom—game over. I’ve been following these two teams for a long time, and I’ve seen patterns emerge that most people are completely ignoring. Everyone is talking about the star striker, but nobody is mentioning how much space he’s leaving behind him when he pushes up too far. It’s amateur hour, seriously... If the coaching staff doesn't address the tactical gaps before kickoff, we are in for a total disaster. My gut tells me it's going to be a high-scoring affair, mostly because the defending is so lackluster on both sides—but hey, that’s just my two cents. Don't say I didn't warn you when the scoreline looks ridiculous by the second half...
The home crowd is absolutely starving for that first W on their own turf—they need it just to stay relevant—but the visitors? Man, they’re coming in hungry to keep this heater going... they've already stacked up four straight wins and honestly, if they pull this one off, they're looking unstoppable...
I’m calling for at least three goals here—and honestly, I’m being conservative—because these teams have enough firepower to put up a serious fight... if they actually play with any efficiency for once.
On paper, the visitors should be the massive favorites here—I mean, come on—but honestly, the home team actually shows some real potential if you look at their recent scores... they aren't totally hopeless. It’s just that they can't seem to pull off a single win on their own turf, no matter how hard they try. It's driving me crazy...

Man, looking at this Betis vs. Sevilla matchup... I’m telling you, if you aren't taking the over on goals here, you're missing the whole damn point. We're looking at 3+ goals at 1.80—or if you're feeling a bit more cautious, the under at 2.20. But honestly? These two teams have been playing like absolute maniacs lately... it's pure chaos on the pitch. My gut is screaming that we're going to see plenty of action, probably more than people are expecting... just a total goal fest waiting to happen...

The stakes are through the roof for both these teams—I mean, seriously, there's no middle ground here. It’s all or nothing... only the winner walks away with anything to show for it.
It’s such an interesting take—claiming that a draw today is basically the worst possible outcome for both sides... honestly, I don't know if I agree with that logic at all. It feels like one of those things people say just to sound deep when they haven't actually looked at the standings...
Betis is right on the doorstep of that Europa League spot again—but man, you just know they’re absolutely itching for some payback after getting absolutely smoked 5-1 by Sevilla earlier this season...
Compared to that mess of a game against the Lakers... we’ve actually got a massive trio coming back into the lineup today:
Joel Campbell, Benat Etxebarria, and Antonio Amaya.

Both squads are coming into this one riding high—they both just grabbed a win last weekend, so they’re feeling themselves right now...
The real headache for Sevilla might just be their pathetic away record this season—I mean, they’ve only managed to snag a single win on the road so far... which is honestly just mind-blowing.
And honestly? They’re sitting right there with Primera for being the second-worst squad out there—and don't even get me started on their away scoring... they're basically tied for the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to actually putting the ball in the net on the road... just pathetic...
I mean, look, they’ve actually been finding the back of the net lately—which is decent news for them, I guess—and honestly, they’re playing pretty damn well... like, they’re actually playing an open, aggressive style and outclassing people on the pitch, but then they just go and blow it at the finish line and lose the game anyway... typical...
Negredo is absolutely tearing it up right now—easily our top scorer—and honestly, seeing him in this kind of scoring rhythm is exactly what we need... I mean, those two goals he put past Athletic last weekend? Pure class. He's looking sharp as hell...
The El Clásico matchup between Real Madrid and Barcelona—man, forget about league standings or recent form... none of that actually matters here. This is easily the biggest game of the week, hands down. There’s just this massive, deep-seated rivalry between these two clubs that turns everything upside down, and honestly? Both sides are going to be hunting for that win at any cost—especially the home team...
The home team is definitely looking like the favorites here—I mean, after that absolute disaster of a start to the season, they’ve got way more skin in the game. They're hungry for it, you know? But let's be real... nobody is playing it safe today. There's zero intention of holding anything back—everyone's going all out, full throttle, right until the final whistle...
Look, both these squads have been absolutely clinical all season—they’re scoring left and right and their defense? Yeah, it's pretty leaky too. Honestly, given how much action we've seen from both sides lately, I’m fully expecting another high-scoring shootout in this derby... just another crazy night in the States.
Man, those last four games? Absolute disaster... just straight up getting shelled. Three of them were against teams with an offensive rating over 3.0—it was basically a feeding frenzy out there...
I’m fully expecting another high-scoring shootout in this Sevilla derby—honestly, looking at the defensive stats for these two squads, they’re basically revolving doors right now... just total chaos back there.

The visitors are gonna be feeling it, too, since they’re missing Trochowski, Campana, and that key defender Navarro (who's sitting at 28/0)—definitely a massive hole in their lineup.
Probable lineups:

SPARTA R. - FORTUNA SITTARD 1 1,70

Sparta R.—finally snapping a four-game drought last week against Dordrecht—is looking to keep that momentum alive. After a string of poor results, they brought in Ten Cate—who previously served under Rijkaard at Barcelona before his stint with Panathinaikos—and the pressure is on to win today if they want to stay in the hunt for direct promotion. They’re currently sitting just two points behind Volendam. Sparta tends to be quite clinical when playing on their home turf, whereas the visitors are struggling with two key absences in the lineup. Following that recent win, I suspect Sparta has found its footing again and will secure a decisive home victory today.

Walgreens vs. OKC Thunder 2, 1.56

That lead OKC had? Yeah, gone. Practically evaporated. Now the Lakers are breathing down their necks, sitting just 4 points behind...
Technically, Walgreens hasn't officially locked in their spot in the big leagues yet, but honestly, this might be their most massive game of the whole year—especially since they’ve got that crucial cup semifinal rematch coming up next Wednesday.
They barely scraped by against the Detroit Pistons in the first leg, so they’re right on the edge of making the finals.
Look, OKC is a beast, no doubt about it, but the home team has other things on their mind right now... they'll probably shuffle the roster a bit to gear up for that return match next week.
OKC really needs this win more than anyone else; they're the superior squad here and should walk away with the victory.
Walgreens hasn't been playing anywhere near their best lately either—two home losses in a row and they haven't seen a single win in their last five outings.
Last season, OKC went into town and shut them out 0-2.

Peterborough United vs. Watford Over 2.5 goals @ 1.77

Look, the home side is actually efficient—they're putting balls in the net even though they're sitting right at the bottom of the table... which is weird, I guess.
They've been playing pretty damn well lately.
Watford isn't exactly firing on all cylinders either, but they’re still the most lethal squad when it comes to tearing it up on the road.
Basically, both teams play high-octane stuff, usually averaging well over three goals per match.
Since both sides are basically fighting for their lives today—either winning or grabbing points to survive—I’m expecting a total shootout from both ends.
Check out the last four times United hosted Watford, it was always a goal fest:

04.21.12, Peterborough - Watford 2 : 2
12.19.09, Peterborough - Watford 2 : 1
03.04.97, Peterborough - Watford 2 : 1
04.05.94, Peterborough - Watford 3 : 4

The home squad is mostly healthy, though Jack Payne is looking questionable.
Watford is dealing with some holes in the defense:
Fitz Hall (Jan 21), Nyron Nosworthy (Jan 19), Tommie Hoban (Jan 19), and Neuton (Jan 8).
On the bright side, they get keeper Almunia back, plus midfielder Jonathan Hogg and defender Matthew Briggs.

Wolverhampton vs. Huddersfield Both Teams to Score @ 1.72

This is a massive, high-stakes game for both these clubs because they're sharing the exact same grim fate... they're both hovering dangerously close to relegation.
Let me just say right out of the gate, the home side is absolutely gutted regarding their roster, so honestly, this specific bet feels like the smartest move.
You have to go for the win, but when you're dealing with injuries PLUS that kind of pressure... man, those are brutal circumstances.
Wolves are missing:
Keeper Carl Ikeme, plus midfielders David Edwards, David Davis, and Bakary Sako.
They don't even have striker Ebanks-Blake available.
And defenders Doherty and Foley are doubtful.
So yeah, Saunders is having a nightmare trying to put a lineup together today.
The visitors have fewer issues.
Southeren is still out long-term, they won't have midfielder Daniel Ward today, and defender Anthony Gerrard is a question mark.
Both teams—especially Wolves at home—absolutely have to win regardless of anything else. Every single game matters now, especially this one against a direct rival.
Then again, the away side has a golden opportunity to exploit how broken the home defense is...
Because of that, I'm expecting "Both Teams to Score" at the very least.
If the visitors don't score or grab something here, they're basically toast, and the home side desperately needs to hunt down points at home.
In their first meeting this season, Huddersfield walked away with a 2-1 win at home.

Everton vs. QPR Over 2.5 goals @ 1.76

If QPR hasn't already dropped down to the Championship, it’ll most likely happen today.
Both sides are desperate for points, which is why my favorite way to play these kinds of matches is to just sit back and wait for the goals to fly in.
Everton is rock solid at home, and they've got a shot at Europa League contention—maybe even a crack at Champions League if teams like Arsenal or Tottenham slip up.
For instance, last round they snatched two points against a direct UCL rival, so a win against a weak QPR side today could really boost their momentum if things click.
Hibbert is out for Everton, but they get Fellaini and Pienaar back.
As for QPR, they'll be without Zamore, S. Wright-Phillips, and Traoré.
Everton is playing for the win, while the visitors have nothing left to gain or protect—they just have to try and cling to whatever scraps of hope they have left in the relegation fight.
I'm expecting an wide-open game with plenty of action.
If nothing else, Everton might just run away with it late in the game and bury them with two or three goals of their own.
QPR has been involved in high-scoring affairs lately, and the reason for that is obvious, so I'm expecting more goals today too.

5:30 PM, U.Espanola vs. Cobreloa (Over 2.5) @ 1.60 SS
Both teams to score & Over 3.5 @ 1.85 SS

When you've got first place going head-to-head with fifth on the table, you usually expect fireworks... goals, specifically. In their last ten league games, the home side has pumped in 23 goals, while these visitors have bagged 21. If I had to nitpick—and I always do—the only downside is how Cobreloa plays on the road. They’ve got a goal difference of 4:3 in four away matches, and they've only hit the over once. Another little hiccup? The home team has been a brick wall at home, conceding just four goals in five games. But hey, Cobreloa is in a bit of a slump right now. They haven't tasted a win in over a month, and after that shock loss at home last round, they went out in the cup semifinals losing 3:1 to Católica. They aren't playing garbage, but the scoreboard isn't cooperating, which is frustrating. It's high time they found some rhythm again. There might even be some lineup shifts coming; honestly, nobody knows who's starting in goal because the starter's job is basically on the line today. So yeah, the alarm bells are ringing just a little bit 😁 I think we're looking at goals here. U.Espanola is riding high, sitting five points clear of second place. Their home form is solid—5 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss, 1 draw—but let's be real, this is probably the toughest test they've faced all season. Plus, they've got that cup semifinal rematch against Universidad in five days. Since the first leg was a 0:0 stalemate, anything can happen. They'll want this win to keep the momentum rolling and set a good mood before that big cup game. Meanwhile, Cobreloa is starving for a win. They’ve got plenty of firepower, and their entire focus is strictly on the league right now. Expect a scrap and goals on both sides.

I'm still grinding tonight;

Lorient vs Bastia Over 2.5 goals at 1.85

Both these squads in Ligue 1 play like they’ve got zero defensive instincts—just pure offensive chaos—and their matches almost always end up being absolute goal fests.
Lorient playing at home averages about 3.3 goals per game (30:19)... pretty insane if you think about it.
They just got absolutely demolished 5-0 away at Lille, but before that, they cruised to a 4-0 win against Brest at home, and they aren't missing any big names today.
Bastia, even on the road, averages 3.1 (16:33), and honestly, they're riding high with three straight wins under their belt.
Talk about scoring—they dropped 4:0, 3:4, then 4:1. That’s 12 goals in their last three outings alone.
On the injury front for them, we gotta watch out for:
defenders Angoula (16/0) and Sans (6/0), plus midfielder Cahuzac (13/0).
Earlier this season when they met, Bastia pulled off a 2-1 win at home against Lorient.
Also, heads up—Lorient plays on that Polytan synthetic turf, so expect the ball to move way faster and the game to be super efficient... fast-paced stuff.

Atalanta vs Fiorentina Over 2.5 goals at 2.00

Fiorentina is basically a money printer for over bets on the road; they've seen 3+ goals in 10 of their 15 away games this season (that's 67% right there).
Even better, 8 of their last 10 matches ended with 3 or more goals.
Looking back at the last 11 matchups between these two sides, only two times did they fail to hit the three-goal mark.
11.18.12, Fiorentina - Atalanta 4 : 1
04.29.12, Atalanta - Fiorentina 2 : 0
12.17.11, Fiorentina - Atalanta 2 : 2
04.18.10, Atalanta - Fiorentina 2 : 1
12.06.09, Fiorentina - Atalanta 2 : 0
04.05.09, Atalanta - Fiorentina 1 : 2
11.09.08, Fiorentina - Atalanta 2 : 1
02.09.08, Atalanta - Fiorentina 2 : 2
09.16.07, Fiorentina - Atalanta 2 : 2
04.01.07, Atalanta - Fiorentina 2 : 2

Atalanta has been lighting it up with 10 goals in their last 5 games, and now they're hosting a hyped-up Viola squad coming off a massive blowout win against Milan last week.
Over the last 5 games, both teams have managed to limit themselves to just one loss each in league play.
I'm calling it again—expect another high-scoring shootout from these two...

So, after my absolute killer🤦 day, I was just scrolling through what’s on the slate for tomorrow...

20,30 Nublense - U.Catolica 2 2,20 SS

Aside from beating the bottom-feeders, Cobresal, the Nublense crew hasn't really done anything worth noting in their first five home games. They're sitting at 5 1 2 2 with a goal differential of 4:8, which—even if they were playing mediocre teams—really tells you everything you need to know about how they're looking lately. I'm hoping that since they pulled off that weird upset away at Huachipata, they might actually show up with some backbone tomorrow, which would make things a lot easier for Catolica. On the flip side, the visitors are looking solid; they just punched their ticket to the cup final with a win at home, so they should be hunting for more points here. Honestly, the odds look too good to pass up. As for Catolica, I'm actually leaning toward them throwing a curveball and messing up at home, mostly because they play so much better on the road—their away record is 5 4 1 0. Their only loss away was against Cobresal, who is decent, even if their recent form has been total🙄garbage. I haven't heard anything about the starting lineups yet, but honestly, no matter how 😁 they line up, I think betting on an away win is a steal, and I wouldn't be surprised if those odds start dropping soon.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Real Madrid -1 2 1,83 (Real wins by two or more goals for the win, if they just scrape a narrow victory, you get your money back)

The home side is honestly a mess right now—they aren't playing well at all, whether they're at their own stadium or out on the road.
Everyone’s just counting down the days until this season ends because it's been an absolute disaster... Athletic has basically failed on every single level. Their defense is a sieve, the offense can't finish a sitter to save their lives... plus they've got a mountain of injuries and roster issues heading into today's matchup.
Real, coming off that loss in Istanbul, is hunting for a win here because there is zero chance they want to deal with back-to-back losses. That hasn't happened to them once this season.

Today's hosts are missing:
defender Laporte (df 15/0), midfielder Oscar de Marcos (29/5), and veteran Carlos Gurpegui (20/1)—plus their top scorer Aduriz (29/13) is also out due to suspension.
On top of that, they're dealing with long-term injury issues for midfielders Inigo Perez (5/0), Ruiz de Galarreta (3/0), and Igor Martinez (3/0), along with defender Aymeric Laporte (15/0).

Looking at the forwards, Ibai Gomez, Iker Muniain, and F. Llorente have only managed to bag five goals combined all season.
With their two heavy hitters, Oscar de Marcos and Aduriz, sitting out, it looks like Athletic's scoring drought is just going to keep dragging on... it's grim.

Real has been absolutely dominating Athletic lately—in their last six meetings, they've cruised to victories with a three-goal margin or better.

I honestly don't see why the visitors wouldn't walk away with another convincing blowout today.

Palermo vs. Bologna kicks off in about 10 minutes—and looking at their recent history when they play at home, things get interesting. They've actually won five straight matchups against them. The kicker is that four of those games ended with these exact scores:

3:1
4:1
3:1
4:1

3:00 PM | Charlotte FC vs. FC Cincinnati | Both Teams to Score @ 1.75 (Parlay)

We’ve got two mid-table sides facing off here. Neither team is fighting for a desperate survival spot or a championship title right now, so there isn't a massive amount of pressure on either side to take huge risks. I’m really hoping for an open, flowing game where both teams feel free to attack.

Statistically, both these squads tend to lean toward high-scoring affairs rather than defensive grinders. That said, my pick is based on their head-to-head history:

Streaks eventually break, sure, but I don't think we're seeing the end of this one just yet.😁 GL

Slovakia vs Viktoria Plzen 2 1,65

Right now, Plzen is basically neck-and-neck with Sparta for the title—they’re sitting three points behind but they’ve got a game in hand,
so they absolutely have to pull this one off today. They can't afford to drop points against a bottom-feeder like this if they don't want Sparta pulling away from them in the standings...
The home side is in a complete freefall right now, coming off five straight losses in a row...
At the end of the day, pure ambition and sheer talent should be enough to settle this one.

Tromso vs Sandnes Tromso over 1.5 goals 1,66

Tromso is easily one of the toughest teams to visit in the league when they're playing at home.
Since they're tucked away way up in the far north, visiting teams usually have to deal with these massive, exhausting travel days just to get there.
Last season, they were absolute monsters on their own turf.
They only dropped one match at home, and honestly, that was in a meaningless game toward the end anyway...
I mean, looking at the stats, they hammered home 32 goals in 15 matches—that's averaging more than two per game.
Sandnes? Not even close. They're incredibly weak on the road, having only managed two away wins all season while coughing up 37 goals in the process.
Last year, Tromso absolutely dismantled Sandnes at home with a 5-1 blowout.
Between knowing their pitch so well, the fast surface favoring an attacking style, and that home-field advantage... I'm betting they find the net at least twice.
Players like Ondrasek, Prijovic, and Morten Moldskred could easily push that total even higher...

LA Galaxy vs. CF Montréal - Montréal fails to score @ 1.75

It's a classic matchup—the league's top-tier defense against one of the worst offenses out there (only San Jose struggled more this season). LA Galaxy has conceded just 25 goals in 30 matches, and only 8 of those happened at home in 15 games. They’ve slipped slightly in recent form—letting Real Madrid pull ahead in the standings—but this feels like the perfect moment to get back on track... Over their last six outings, they're sitting at 4:2, and in their last three meetings against Montréal, they've kept clean sheets (2:0, 1:0, and 0:0). I'd say 1.75 is a pretty solid value for this play...

Roger Phillips said:Looking back now, I’m actually a bit stunned😲—the entire weekend in MLS passed without a single Over🤣... just one lone match ended with both teams finding the net...

I wanted to reopen the debate regarding which leagues are best suited for betting on Overs/Unders (or those high-scoring 3+ goals games), and it got me thinking about how Turkish teams have gone absolutely wild this season, consistently churning out high-scoring affairs. Then, suddenly, you get a weekend like this one where not a single game hits the Over (and they've still got Besiktas playing today). But, setting this weird outlier aside, the Turkish league has really caught me off guard this year with the sheer volume of matches hitting that 3+ goal mark—I don't recall that being the norm in previous seasons, though 🤔maybe I'm misremembering
. Still, the average has jumped from 2.44 last season to 2.67 goals per game this term.
It’s common knowledge that the Dutch leagues are usually goal fests.
Looking at other leagues, there's a glaring drop in scoring in the Swiss league
. Most matches there tend to end Under—you can see it in the numbers, with an average of just 2.41 goals per game (down from 2.61 last season and 2.98 the year before)—that's a pretty significant dip in offensive efficiency.

Perhaps a better metric for gauging the profitability of Over/Under betting is the percentage of matches in a specific league that finish with more than three total goals:
Over 2.5 (over 3.5):

English Premier League - 56.7% (32.2%)
English Championship - 52.4% (27.7%)
French Ligue 1 - 45.6% (29.4%)
German Bundesliga - 53.6% (32.2%)
Spanish La Liga - 54% (32.4%)
Dutch Eredivisie - 58.1% (36.7%)
Dutch Eerste Divisie - 62.7% (39.2%)
Italian Serie A - 49.2% (28.8%)
Swiss Super League - 40.7% (23.7%)—and as I mentioned, a noticeable decline
Turkish Süper Lig - 51.9% (29.6%)
Portuguese Primeira Liga - 53% (34%)

To my mind, it's somewhat surprising that, on average, more games hit the Over in England than in the Bundesliga. Of course, you have to track individual clubs; for instance, a whopping 76% of Borussia Dortmund matches end in an Over (with 48% being Over 3.5), while Hoffenheim, Schalke, and Leverkusen hover around the 70% mark.

In France, the standout is Bastia with 72% of their games going Over😲 (47% being Over 3.5). In the Premier League, Wigan sits at 71%, and they are closely followed by Liverpool, Newcastle, and Tottenham, all seeing roughly two-thirds of their matches go Over. In Spain, it's expected that Barcelona leads the pack at 87.7% (67.7% Over 3.5; 38.7% Over 4.5)🙏 and Real Madrid at 67.7%.

Over in the Netherlands, PSV is dominating at 86.7% (63.3% Over 3.5), while AZ and Vitesse sit at 70%. In the Dutch second tier, teams like Almere, Dordrecht, Eindhoven, and Maastricht are above 70%, whereas Fortuna Sittard is well below the average at 39.3%, along with Telstar at 44.4%.

The Italians are predictably struggling to find the net, with Roma being the sole exception at 62.5% Over (largely thanks to the early part of the season and that "Zemanlandia" style of play). When it comes to the Portuguese side of things, it's worth mentioning Nacional.(68%) for Benfica (74%), while Maritimo is sitting at a measly 32% over.
I’m actually a bit puzzled by the averages over in Turkey—I honestly had this feeling that way more games were ending over, but it looks like Besiktas is the only one really popping off at 75% 🤔

Anyway, I don't want to go overboard here, but if you're looking for more numbers, everything is laid out right here.

Turkish Super Lig— 51.9% (29.6%)
Portuguese Primeira Liga— 53% (34%)

The Danish league is seeing some seriously high over percentages this season— 56.5— I mean, just look at yesterday where 14 goals dropped in only 3 games... crazy stuff.
If you're looking at teams hitting those overs, the big ones right now are Sonderjyske, Aarhus, and FC Copenhagen.

On the flip side, if you want to bet against the goal-fests, look at the Greek leagues.

In their matches, the goal count is consistently bottoming out... definitely the lowest stats around.🙂
