Eskisehir vs. Fenerbahçe 1 2,62

The whole reason I'm putting my money here is because Aykut Kocaman—the Fenerbahçe manager—is showing up to this away game with a massive amount of rotation in the lineup...
He's basically giving his big guns a breather before the upcoming league matches and that huge showdown against Benfica, so right now, this cup match isn't even his top priority.
I mean, they've got the second leg coming up on May 8th, 2013 anyway.

Basically, we're looking at a situation where about 10 of Fenerbahçe's core starters won't be hitting the pitch today.

"With the Europa League semifinals against Portugal's Benfica looming next week, the Yellow-and-Blues are fighting for another semifinal spot today.
This is the first leg of the Ziraat Turkish Cup semifinals. Their opponent is Eskisehirspor, whom they just beat 1-0 in the league over the weekend.
The goal is to head back to Istanbul with a favorable score heading into the rematch.
However, since Aykut Kocaman is clearly prioritizing the league and European competition, it's expected that he'll rest some of his key players and give the bench guys a shot.
After letting guys like Volkan, Gokhan, Yobo, Egemen, Kuyt, Ziegler, Baroni, Webo, and Meireles have two days off after the Eskisehir match, Kocaman is clearly trying to keep them fresh for the league and Europe.
Sow, who was dealing with an injury, should start in the XI, but he probably won't see all 90 minutes.
"

Volkan, Gokhan, Yobo, Egemen, Kuyt, Emre B., Ziegler, Baroni, Meireles, and P. Webo...
As for the home side, the only real question mark is Rodrigo Tello.
This is a massive opportunity for Eskisehir to use their home turf to grab an advantage before the return leg and try to punch their ticket to the finals...

Roger Phillips said:Turkish Cup Semifinal: Eskişehirspor vs. Fenerbahçe at 2.62
The second leg hasn't been played yet; this is set for May 8, 2013.
It presents a rather enticing opportunity for Eskişehirspor to establish a foothold on their home turf before the return match, potentially securing their path to the finals.

I am currently reviewing the lines on the red sportsbook, and I see this listing:

Well, yes, there is another match on the schedule. I just took a look at the Blue Line site, and what do we have here? Soccer - Turkish Cup Semifinals, a single-leg knockout. It’s almost laughable how shady our domestic bookmakers can be when they pick these matchups. 🙂

17/18 (86% with constant scoring and "over" bets)

West Ham/vs Man Utd.....Over 2.5 goals @ 2.00

So, West Ham has been scoring like crazy at home over their last 10 games, but honestly, betting on Over 2.5 hasn't really hit three times in a row for them lately—it actually failed five times out of the last fifteen... so regarding West Ham, I guess it’s a solid pick, but then again, things aren't exactly looking great on the other side either because, man, the Red Devils have only covered an Over 2.5 away once in their last 10 outings... though, if you think about it, that one time was actually against this exact opponent in a 2-2 draw (and they've hit Over 2.5 four times away in their last 15), so I'm kind of expecting, and maybe even hoping, for something similar today... maybe a 1-2 result and we'll just see what happens.

Good luck everyone

West Ham vs. Manchester United... $2.00 on 2A...

Look, just do me a favor and double-check if Vidic is actually in the lineup before you put any money down... I’ve been following Manchester United for ages now, and let me tell you—when he's out there playing, United's defense is basically a sieve. They concede way too many goals without him...🤷

Manchester United has been absolutely shambolic this season—I mean, seriously, without Vidic in the lineup, the defense is basically a revolving door. We've conceded 23 goals in just 16 league matches... 23! It’s embarrassing. And get this—out of those 16 games, they've only managed to keep a clean sheet three times. Three. You can't win anything when you're leaking goals like a broken faucet every single weekend... it's just pathetic.

So, looking at the numbers... with Vidic in the lineup over those 16 games, Manchester United has already conceded 10 goals. Just... wow. Unbelievable.
Man, look at those numbers—out of those 16 matches, they actually kept a clean sheet in 8 of them... honestly, you gotta respect that kind of defensive grit.

Sir Alex Ferguson:

I told the guys that we’re treating the next six games like they're the damn season opener—every single one is a must-win, period... no more playing around.

Lokomotiva vs Cibalia (1:1) 1 @ 1.60 8/10

It’s the cup rematch where Lokomotiva is basically looking at a historic final spot. After that first leg ended 1-1, a scoreless draw would actually be enough to send them through—but honestly, I think the home side will just handle this routine-style, maybe even via a penalty 😍
. Just a couple rounds ago, Cibalia hosted Lokomotiva and cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win. They desperately need points to stay up in the league, whereas Lokomotiva is eyeing a spot in the Europa League—either through the cup run or by finishing just one point behind second-place Hajduk Split in the standings.

Since I have a hunch there's going to be a penalty in this one, I'm also putting some action on Kramarić to score @ 2.40 (PSK) 3/10

Locco? Yes! 👋

PAOK-Asteras Tripolis 1 @ 1.70 6/10

First leg of the Greek Cup, with PAOK hosting Asteras. PAOK is absolutely cooking right now—they've gone undefeated in their last 11 matches, with 8 wins and 3 draws, and they've only conceded a single goal in their last six outings. On the flip side, the visitors are struggling; despite being solid in third place in the league (though PAOK sits in second with a 6-point cushion), they're on a three-game skid with a dismal 2-8 goal difference. My gut feeling? Even if they lose, the visitors might feel okay with a narrow defeat—provided they manage to get an away goal.

Zlatan Ibrahimović scores @ 2.25 (Parlay) 4/10

Evian-Paris Saint-Germain 2 @ 1.60 7/10

So, we’ve got the French Cup quarterfinals coming up—Paris Saint-Germain, who—let's be honest—are basically cruising toward another title after this long drought, are heading out to face Evian. Evian is mostly just sweating through their relegation battle right now, and frankly, they don't have the depth to really push the Parisians.

Plus, despite being a bit heavy-set lately and playing some pretty unconvincing football, Carl usually finds a way to grind out a win—they even came incredibly close to pulling off an upset against a powerhouse like FC Barcelona in the Champions League.
Zlatan Ibrahimović is the top scorer for Paris Saint-Germain, netting 26 league goals in 28 appearances (and he’s been scoring in both the Champions League and the cup, too), so he’s the guy everyone looks to. I think he could find the net again here. Looking back at their matchups this season, the Parisians won 4-0 at home, where Zlatan Ibrahimović scored the opener—this will be their first trip over to play Evian.

Inter Milan-AS Roma (1:2) over 2.5 @ 1.65 / BTTS Yes @ 1.95

It's the second leg of the cup tie. After losing 2-1 in Rome, Inter Milan—featuring our own Mateo Kovačić—is hosting AS Roma, trying to claw back from a lead held by Francesco Totti and his crew.

Whenever these two go at it, I expect a wide-open game with plenty of chances and goals. Both sides have decent attacking talent, but their defenses? Honestly, they're criminal. It’s been a weird shift for Inter, since their defense wasn't exactly leaking goals like this in recent seasons, but they've been giving up far too many lately.

RSC Anderlecht-SK Lokeren 1 @ 1.40 8/10

The odds aren't massive, but this one is huge for RSC Anderlecht. After a pretty dismal start to the second half of the season—just two draws and a loss—they absolutely have to win this. And given how ridiculous the league format is—where they basically halved all the points from the regular season—they’re sitting just one point ahead of Standard Liège and KRC Genk (though they have a game in hand). As for SK Lokeren, they're the only team in this six-team playoff group with zero chance at the title, so I'm banking on RSC Anderlecht finally getting a result.

Livorno-Novara 3+ 1,92

We've got two heavy hitters stepping onto the pitch here, and let me tell you—these teams don't just play, they produce...
Both squads are sitting right up there in the top three when it comes to pure offensive firepower.
Livorno is basically a goal machine at home, averaging north of 3 goals per match lately.
Novara isn't far behind, hovering just above a 2.8 average.
But here’s the kicker with Livorno—they can't seem to keep a clean sheet to save their lives this season.
Out of 18 home games, they've conceded in 12 of them. They've been involved in 22 high-scoring "over 2.5" affairs, compared to only 14 low-scoring ones.
Sure, they played some weaker sides in their last two home outings and managed to shut them out while grabbing the wins (against Ascoli and Lanciano)...
But today? Today they run into a wall. Novara has been absolutely phenomenal this spring—back in 2013, they were practically invincible, losing only once at home (that 0-1 slip-up against Cesena back on Feb 2nd).
And check this out: Novara has scored in every single one of their 7 away matches. In their last three away trips, they dropped 12 goals... and over their last six, they've pumped in a massive 20. Just insane.
I’m expecting an all-out brawl here. This could be a total spectacle with goals flying everywhere because both sides are playing to win... I mean, when the second and third best offenses in the league collide, what else are you even looking for besides goals? It's a no-brainer.

For Livorno, they'll be missing:
Midfielder Sawas Gentsoglou (27/0), who's currently serving a suspension.
And striker Luc Siligardi (30/11) is still sidelined with that injury he's been nursing for over a month.

As for Novara:
They're down defender Carlalberto lud (25/0), plus bench options Parravicini (10/1) and Ahmed Barusso (11/0), and they'll also be without key forward Matthias Lepiller (23/6).

Inter tonight, just like they played against Cagliari Calcio, they're rolling out a seriously thin lineup again:

I mean, seriously? No Milit, no Palacio, and no Cassan... not even Guarin or Gargan in the mix.

It looks like we're stuck with Rocchi and Alvarez doing all the heavy lifting up front.

Guimaraes-Belenenses 1 @ 2.20 Pinnacle 5/10

Taking this one, even though I’m flying somewhat blind regarding Belenenses.
To be fair, my knowledge is limited to what the second division standings tell me—namely, that they’re dominating and will easily be back in the top flight next year.
That said, Guimaraes is a solid top-tier side currently in great shape; they've won three straight at home and have five wins in their last eight matches overall—noting that two of those losses were against Benfica and SC Braga, the best teams in the league. This is the second leg of a cup semifinal, and Guimaraes took a 2-0 lead away in the first leg.
The winner moves on to face Benfica in the final, which means whoever advances today secures a guaranteed spot in the Europa League next season—hardly a small detail.
The home side has a strong squad and has been playing exceptionally well in the latter half of the season. They’re defending a 2-0 cushion and are clearly the superior team. Though, I haven't been able to find any highlights from the first leg online to confirm how they actually played.
Guimaraes has a few minor absences, but nothing major. As for the visitors, all I can find is that one striker is returning; there’s zero information regarding other injuries or missing players.

The referee is Carlos Xistra; if you check this link, you'll see he isn't shy about handing out cards. Since lower-division teams tend to play a more physical style of football, Belenenses might end up picking up several yellows tonight—maybe even a red. Furthermore, this official frequently calls penalties, so there's a decent chance he awards one to the hosts. 😁

Given the circumstances—odds of 2.20 for a top-flight team playing at home against a second-division side, in a match deciding a Europa League berth, and with a significant advantage from the first leg—the price looks a bit too high for me. I'm placing the bet. 🤷

01,00 Universidad owned by Universidad Católica - Unión Española (2.5) over 1.60 SS

Over/Under 3+ 1.80 SS

Second leg of the cup semifinals, and the first one ended in a boring 0-0 stalemate... both sides are basically eyeing a spot in the final against Universidad Católica. I just don't see how teams like this can pull off two straight low-scoring games; their offensive potential has to kick in now, especially since there’s no safety net after this match. Looking at the league stats, Universidad is leading the pack with an average of 3.73 goals per game, while Unión Española sits at about 2.64. I don't have the specific cup data, but things shouldn't change much—though it's tricky to judge because sometimes smaller clubs sneak into the late stages of the tournament, which usually bumps up the scoring. All in all, my money is on goals here. Both sides should find the net, and who knows, maybe even a red card 😁. Universidad is the slight favorite, but honestly, they've conceded plenty of goals at home against much weaker squads than Unión Española, so picking a winner feels like a toss-up to me. Interestingly enough, in their last two home matches against today's opponent, Universidad let in 7 goals total... hm, maybe this is their chance to finally fix things 🤣

Ejsberg-Bronby..............1@2,10ss
IFK Göteborg-Syrianska...1@1,40ss

I mean, Ejsberg is looking seriously good lately, especially when they're playing at home where they've basically been steamrolling everyone since 2013 (like, they crushed their last two friendlies with an 11:2 goal spread), so I guess they've managed to pull themselves away from the bottom of the table. It’s kind of wild because Br. is barely staying afloat just because of their goal difference—they're tied with the bottom three teams all on 27 points—but I really think today is a massive game, and honestly, that's why I'm taking this bet. I feel like Br. might already have their heads turned toward their matchup against Silkeborg, which they absolutely have to win if they want to stay in the league, so they might not be fully locked in here..
It's probably a bit tough to draw any real conclusions after only three games, but looking at the numbers: IFK is sitting at 2-1-0 with a 5:0 goal count, while Syr is struggling at 0-1-2 with 0:4, so yeah, based on their head-to-head history, Göteborg has taken three wins and Syrianska has only grabbed one..

Chicago Fire-Chicago Fire 2+ 1,66

Look, I’m totally with you that Seattle Sounders FC are the favorites here😁
They’ve got a solid squad—plenty of seasoned vets mixed in with some young talent that actually shows promise.
People were expecting big things from them last season, but honestly, it feels like they’re just now finally hitting their stride this year...
On the other side, Chicago Fire is pretty weak—mostly because their bench is thin as hell—so they’ll probably be fighting for survival just to stay in the top flight, just like last year.
Last season they were giving up an average of 1.5 goals per game, so my gut says the home team is definitely scoring more than one today.

Club Brugge-Z Waregem Both Teams to Score 1,66

Out of all the teams playing in this championship playoff, Club Brugge has the absolute worst defense. I mean, they’ve surrendered 47 goals in just 33 matches.
They’ve already faced Waregem twice, and they couldn't keep a clean sheet in either matchup.
In fact, they’ve conceded a goal in every single one of their three playoff games so far.

The home side is hurting in the backline too—they're missing Jim Larsen and Laurens de Bock.

Over on the visiting side, Mbaye Leye and Franck Berrier have already racked up 24 goals together this season.
And get this: out of 17 away games, the visitors have scored at least once in 16 of them.

Waregem is easily the biggest surprise in the league right now; they played an incredible season and ended up finishing second.
So you've got a home team that can't stop conceding and has defensive holes everywhere, facing a visiting squad that is lethal on the counterattack... I'm convinced they'll walk away with at least one goal in Bruges.

Plus, the home team has some serious firepower upfront—Bacca is leading the Jupiler scoring charts, and then you’ve got Lestienne, Odjidja-Ofoe, and Eidur Gudjohnsen in the mix.
When you add it all up, that "Both Teams to Score" option at 1,66 looks like a no-brainer.

Double combo 1,87

Waregem Waregem scores 1,44
Esbjerg-Brondby 1x 1,30

The first leg wrapped up in a 1:1 draw.
The home team is happy enough with that, but they should probably be kicking themselves since they blew several golden opportunities to grab a win in Copenhagen.
This is huge history for Esbjerg, and they are hungry for that final spot.

Coach Jess Thorup said:
We wanted to get the best result possible in the first match.
And we got it.
But we know that was only the first half of this two-game series.
We aren't relaxing tonight; we're going into this match acting like the score is still 0:0.

The vibe at the home stadium is great right now—high energy, good atmosphere—and they play well at home. They’re in better shape and seem much more focused on reaching the final than Brondby, who are basically just struggling to avoid relegation.
In their last outing, Brondby looked terrible against a weak Sonderjyske side and lost 0:3.
They were mediocre in the first half, and then absolutely catastrophic in the second.
Since this is a cup match and a draw would actually work for the home side, I’m playing it safe with the double chance.
No major issues with the rosters, though the home team will be without defender N. Hogh.

The group stage of the Copa Libertadores wraps up tonight.

Every single team in the group still has a shot at moving on... so anything can happen.
But honestly? The matchup I’m actually watching is this one in Chile—Huachipato vs. Gremio.
They’re dead even on points right now, identical records, both teams have dropped 9 goals so far.
I gotta say, those odds on the home side are tripping me out—3.70? That feels way too high.
They actually went into Porto Alegre and took a 1:2 win against Gremio, so they just need a victory tonight to seal it, yet the bookies have set the line so weirdly...
The stadium is gonna be packed, and the home squad is riding a massive wave of confidence after that absolute blowout 0:4 win away against Caracas in Venezuela.
Now, look, Gremio isn't some pushover—they're a serious outfit—but they aren't exactly cooking right now. In their last six outings (counting league and cup play), they’ve only managed one win, and they’ve only found the back of the net three times total. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.
On the flip side, Huachipato has scored in every single group match. They’re putting their faith in the duo of Bryan Rodriquez and Federico Falcone, and if things go according to plan, I really think they’ll tear through Dide’s defense.
Rodriguez is absolutely tearing it up, too—sitting pretty as the top scorer in the Copa Libertadores with 5 goals in just 5 matches.

Huachipato-Gremio 1 3,70

Huachipato-Gremio 3+ 1,90

Both sides are desperate for points here, and since they've been pumping out goals all tournament, there's plenty of action to go around.
Huachipato plays an open style—lots of goals. Aside from that 1:1 draw with Fluminense, all their other matches have gone over 2.5, so we could easily see a 2:1, 3:2, or even a wild 2:2 finish...
Squad depth doesn't seem to be an issue for either side.
It’s a safe bet that Fluminense will take care of business at home against Caracas, but these visitors with 6 points are basically deciding their own fate tonight.
The home team is especially hunting for the win because of their goal difference, but Gremio isn't going to sit back and play math games either—they’ve said it themselves, they're playing to advance to the next round.

By the way, looking at the rest of this round, only 2 of the 6 matches have hit the "over" so far... which is crazy.🤷

Sabadell-Recreativo Huelva 3+ 1,90

Both squads are sitting right in the middle of the pack—basically nothing to play for—so they can just play loose and do their own thing until the season wraps up...
The home side holds a two-point edge and generally plays much higher-scoring matches than the visitors.
We're looking at a 3.1 goal average for the hosts versus 2.8 for the away crew per match.
Sabadell has been hitting the over in 12 of their last 15 outings.
In fact, they've rolled through five straight games with 3+ goals.

Their defense is an absolute disaster zone—they've dropped 4 of their last 5 games, coughing up 17 goals while only managing to put 8 in the net.

And don't even get me started on the visitors... their backline is just as shaky. Both teams are currently ranked among the bottom five defensive units in the Segunda—right up there with Castilla, Barcel. B, and that recent Xerez squad.

When these two met earlier this season down in Huelva, the visitors absolutely tore them apart with a massive 5-2 win.
I’m expecting fireworks again because Sabadell is basically part of a "top three" club of teams playing high-over games, alongside Castilla and Barcel. B.
To make things worse, the home side is missing two defenders...
Raul goniti (10/0) and Victor Espasandin (16/1) are out. On top of that, the visitors are missing a huge piece of their defense in Jorge Morcillo (28/1).

Looking at the scoring, Manuel Lanzarote has bagged 14 for the hosts, while the biggest threat for the visitors is Chuli, who’s already notched 15.

Montpellier/Lyon......Yes@2,20ss
Horn/Kapfenberg......Yes@1,75ss
Zadar/Chicago.......yes@1,20ss

total with MT:4,40 stake 1/10

Lyon really shouldn't mess this up again, because they aren't even a lock for those European spots (LP), since there are four teams fighting for that 3rd spot (between 53 and 56 points)... They lost their last two away games against teams that weren't even as tough as Montpellier (who are the 2nd best home team in the league at 10-4-2 with a goal diff of 30:11). Lyon's away record is 6-5-5 (21:19). I'm expecting a win for Montpellier, though maybe Lyon finds the net, but to me, this feels like the safer pick just so we don't end up stuck with some random 2:2 draw, especially since the odds are basically the same..
Kapfenberg has been absolutely killing it since the spring season started—they've gone 7-1-2 in their last 10 matches (23:10), and on the road lately, they're 4-0-1 (14:5)... so I guess I think they'll take it, but I'm kind of held back by the fact that I'm not totally sure what their recent form actually implies, whereas with Horn, the situation is a bit different—they're 4 points clear of the relegation zone and really shouldn't be dropping easy points at home, so they'll definitely be playing tough. In their last 10 home games, they only failed to score three times, and in those 7 out of 10 games where they did score, they never stopped at just one goal... meanwhile, in Kapfenberg's last four wins, they only gave up one goal to Groening (1st place), and for all the others, it was at least three, and they conceded in all three, so... yeah, I mean, I think they'll win and the odds are much higher, but this one just feels more solid to me.
Chicago really needs to pull this one off, but I'm not entirely convinced... so I'm playing it this way because it seems like only the big heavyweights haven't managed to score at least once in their last 10 home games..

I’ve decided to step away from the Hassel pillar system—honestly, it’s just too difficult to track down enough quality matchups during the week to make a meaningful investment. On the flip side, if I try to time it starting with the weekend when the selection is better and more plentiful, I always end up hitting that sixth day in the middle of the week where I'm forced to hunt for a 1.5 odds line. In European competitions, finding something reliable enough to risk my accumulated winnings on at those odds is a nightmare. Long story short, I feel like I’ve been betting too much on pure luck rather than sticking to deeply analyzed picks. So, I’m pivoting back to a classic doubling strategy: maybe 1 to 3 picks per slip over a three-day stretch, and once I hit a profit after the third round, I’m calling it quits for the cycle.

Here is what I'm looking at for today:

Borussia Dortmund : Los Angeles 1x 1.34
Portland : Harvard 1 1.45

Buffalo : Cincinnati 1 1.40

All the home teams are desperate for the win here—some are pushing for a spot in Europe, while others are fighting for promotion to a higher tier. Even though Harvard and Los Angeles are both battling to avoid relegation—and Los Angeles has actually been playing quite well lately (which is why I'm sticking with the double chance)—I still view the home sides as clear favorites who absolutely need the points as the season winds down. Both visiting clubs have been notoriously poor on the road, whereas Cincinnati has already been eliminated and has virtually no hope of staying in the league. Good luck to everyone! 👍
