Manchester City vs. West Bromwich Albion (05.07. 20:45) f+2 @ 2.10

Manchester City is feeling the heat in second place. With both Chelsea and Arsenal breathing down their necks, they really need to lock down that runner-up spot within the next three rounds if they want any peace of mind. On the other side, the visitors are dealing with some significant absences, missing four key players:
G. Jara
M. Fortuné
G. Thorne
Z. Gera
Meanwhile, City gets a nice little boost with the return of Maicon and Rodwell. Looking back at their last few home games, they’ve been consistently clearing the handicap, and I suspect this match will follow that same pattern.

Wigan vs. Swansea – Wigan ML @1.80 (PSK)

This is the defining match for Wigan—a win here significantly boosts their chances of avoiding relegation. Swansea, meanwhile, are in a complete slump; they haven't secured a victory in seven matches and have failed to find the back of the net in their last three. Plus, there's serious doubt regarding whether their star player, Michu, will even step onto the pitch.

AS Roma vs. Chievo – Roma ML @1.30 (PSK)

Roma currently sits in 5th place—right on the edge of an Europa League spot—but Udinese and Lazio are breathing down their necks (trailing by just one and three points respectively). Even Inter is lurking only five points behind. They simply cannot afford a slip-up here; the schedule is brutal, with upcoming trips to Milan and a home clash against both Napoli and their direct rival, Lazio.

I’ve been keeping an eye on the MLS standings lately. With today's results from the big clubs in LA, two teams have a real shot at pulling three points ahead and securing those top spots for European competition qualifying.

Wednesday, May 8th.
LA Galaxy - Orlando City FC 1@1.40

The Galaxy are absolute beasts at home right now—they haven't lost a single home match in their last 10 outings. Orlando has been looking decent lately, sure, but they always seem to struggle when they're traveling. Given the stakes mentioned above, and since Orlando is just sitting comfortably in the middle of the pack with nothing much to gain or lose, I think the home side takes this one.

Thursday, May 9th.
Seattle Sounders - Inter Miami 1@1.45

Seattle is also practically untouchable on their own turf. In their last 15 home games, the only teams to actually walk away with a win were their direct rivals, the Galaxy and DC United. Even though Miami is fighting to stay out of the relegation zone, they still tend to lose against the heavy hitters on the spread. I don't see any way these motivated hosts let a single point slip through their fingers.

It’s high time the teams that actually need the wins start delivering.☕

Tickets 0/5 (0/9)

Chelsea/Tottenham Over 2.5 goals... Yes @ 1.95
Real Madrid/Malaga Over 2.5 goals... Yes @ 2.00

FC Cincinnati/Columbus Crew Over 2.5 goals... Yes @ 2.40
LA Galaxy vs Real Salt Lake (2:2)... 1 @ 1.30

6th ticket - 2/10

-So Chelsea (68%), Arsenal (67%), and Spurs (65%) are all right there, but honestly, Chelsea and Spurs have fewer games left, maybe like 2 or 3 weeks until the season wraps up, and they're both fighting for those 3rd or 4th spots to clinch a Champions League berth or at least a qualifying spot. If Chelsea pulls this one off today, they’d pretty much lock in that qualification, and they look solid lately—like 7-2-1 with an 18:8 goal split—and they just don't seem to lose at home since mid-January against Southampton (which was a 2:2 draw in the MLS). Spurs are 6-2-2 overall and 5-3-2 away, scoring about 18 and conceding 12, but man, Spurs haven't really beaten Chelsea on the road since way back in '98 (or whatever my buddy tells me about their head-to-head history), so I guess maybe it's finally their time, but I think I'll skip betting on the first one just to be safe...
-Real Madrid is playing this specific type of bet a ton lately, and Malaga hasn't gone two whole games without scoring all season, so I'm thinking they won't fail to find the net today either... They've slumped a little recently, but I guess that's probably just because they're focused on the Champions League and lost some motivation, though that shouldn't really be an issue today given what's at stake.
-Cincinnati and Columbus are both grinding for those conference tournament spots, and Columbus had this run where they hit the Over 2.5 in 5 out of 6 away games before hitting three draws in a row, so I'm feeling like they might bounce back to the Over again today... Plus, looking at their recent matchups, the last four times they played, it ended exactly like this.
-It's the second leg of the semifinals... they've got a good result from the first match, but I doubt they'll settle for a clean sheet today. They won a trophy once but then sort of fell off in the league standings, so their form has slipped a bit, but since the cup is the main goal now, they should be super serious, and I honestly wouldn't doubt them getting the win.

Benfica II vs. Porto II — Both teams to score at 1.64
When these two met earlier this season, they ended up deadlocked in a 2:2 draw... just pure chaos.
Benfica II have been absolutely tearing it up at home lately—they’ve hit the "both teams to score" mark in 9 straight home games. Talk about a trend...
Then you look at Porto II. In their last 8 away matches, 6 of them saw 3+ total goals, and they've managed to find the net in all but two of those trips...
Both squads are coming into this one incredibly hungry for a result. I mean, obviously, when you've got a Benfica vs. Porto matchup, it's always about pride and bragging rights—it's high stakes—so expecting fireworks and goals here isn't even a stretch... it's almost a given.
The goal averages for both sides are through the roof. Benfica especially—their offense is top-tier, basically right up there with the best in the league alongside teams like LA Galaxy, but man, their defense is a sieve... they've surrendered 27 goals in just 20 away trips.

Portimonense vs. Guimarães B — Home team to score 2+ goals at 1.90

With only three rounds left before the season wraps up, the home side is desperately trying to claw their way into the upper echelon of the standings.
To actually pull it off, they’d need to win all three remaining matches. Honestly? The odds are slim... but hey, if there's a glimmer of hope, why not?...
As for the visitors, they aren't officially relegated from the second division yet, but let's be real—it would take a literal miracle to save them from dropping down to the third tier.
They haven't played as many games as the teams they're chasing—only 4 left on the schedule—and sitting in 19th, they're trailing Trofense by a massive 10 points. It's looking bleak.
On the flip side, the home team is one of the toughest squads to beat on their own turf—they've only dropped two games at home all season.
They typically put up about 1.7 goals whenever they're playing in front of their home crowd.
Guimarães, meanwhile, is bottom of the barrel. They've only managed 5 wins in 38 games and they are hands down the worst traveling team in the league. They've only scored 9 goals in 20 away games and they're currently staring down a brutal 9-game losing streak...
Out of those last 9 losses, they've conceded 2 or more goals in 7 of them, averaging about 1.85 goals against per away game. They're a mess.

Looking at Portimonense, they've scored 2 or more goals in 6 of their last 9 home games, and they're on an 8-game unbeaten run at home... plus, they've dumped 12 goals on opponents in their last 6 outings.
In their first meeting this season, they went out and took a 1:2 win on the road against Guimarães.
I'm leaning toward a home win here, and I really think they'll bury this weak visiting side for more than just one goal...

US Open Cup, single match

Ried vs. Austria Vienna 2 2.15 @ DraftKings

Today’s matchup between Ried and Austria Vienna serves as the second semifinal leg of the US Open Cup... Following yesterday's shock where an underdog from the semi-pro leagues knocked out the heavily favored Red Bull Salzburg...
Ried secured their semifinal spot by grinding out an overtime win against another lower-tier side, while Austria Vienna advanced past Wolfsberg...
Looking at the recent momentum, Austria Vienna holds the edge with three wins and two draws in their last five outings, whereas Ried has struggled with three wins and two losses—including two defeats in their last three matches—suggesting a slight dip in their rhythm... It is also worth noting that Austria Vienna boasts the most disciplined defense in the league...
Currently sitting atop the standings through four rounds, Austria Vienna leads the pack by six points over Salzburg, making this an opportune moment to chase the domestic double...
Just a few days ago in league play, Austria Vienna hosted Ried and walked away with a decisive 3-1 victory, scoring four goals in the second half alone... Ried's manager noted a significant lapse in concentration during that period, which Austria Vienna exploited with clinical efficiency...
Regarding squad availability, my research indicates that Ried will be without two players who aren't particularly vital to their core rotation, while Austria Vienna appears to have a full complement of available talent...
Last year, these two sides met in this very stage of the tournament, though Ried managed a 2-0 victory, providing what seems like a perfect opportunity for Austria Vienna to settle the score...
Throughout this current season, they have faced each other four times, and Austria Vienna has emerged victorious in every single encounter...
While cup competitions can be notoriously unpredictable—as we saw with Salzburg's exit yesterday—the current trajectory of both clubs favors Austria Vienna... Given their dominant 3-1 win over Ried just days ago, along with their previous four victories (which included away wins of 0-1 and 1-3, and home wins of 6-1 and 3-1), they seem to have the measure of this opponent... Since this is a winner-takes-all single match, I suspect Austria Vienna will find a way to decide it within the regulation ninety minutes...

Seattle Sounders - Columbus Crew 2 @ 4.70 DraftKings 3/10

The Sounders are playing poorly—even the casual observers can see that. It’s a simple equation: the players have raw talent, but they lack veteran experience.
Because of that, they simply can't be considered favorites against Columbus, a matchup that historically doesn't go their way. Looking at their last four meetings, Columbus has taken three wins while one ended in a draw. In those four games, the Sounders failed to score a single goal ( 😲 ), leaving them with a 4:0 goal difference in favor of Columbus.
Seattle is in a slump—they haven't won in four matches, including two recent losses—whereas Columbus is flying high with five straight wins and have looked sharp in almost every outing.
Both squads are relatively healthy with no major absences. Columbus plays an aggressive attacking style that Seattle's shaky defense isn't equipped to handle. Consequently, I think the odds at DraftKings are too generous—it's easily the highest line available; for comparison, local books are sitting at 3.80, and even Pinnacle is only at 4.12. Essentially, DraftKings is offering a 0.58 edge over the next best price. My only regret is not spotting this earlier, as the odds were as high as 5.80 just a few days ago. 😲

Columbus Crew x2 @ 1.88 6/10

This is excellent value on the double chance (X2), given everything mentioned above. You have a highly confident, in-form Columbus side with a clean bill of health facing a struggling Seattle team that hasn't tasted victory in four games... it's a solid play.

$2.15, LA Galaxy vs. LAFC - Over 2.5 goals @ 1.90 SS

When these two squads meet, you aren't just getting high tension and a mountain of yellow cards—you're getting goals. Honestly, looking at the Galaxy and LAFC, they’re pretty much on the same level of quality, and both teams play this incredibly aggressive, attack-heavy style of soccer. It’s a cup final, played as a single match on a neutral field, so there's no "tomorrow" to make up for it. Both sides are going to leave everything on the pitch to grab that trophy. There's no safety net here, just 90 minutes of intense battle, and I’m expecting goals on both ends. Statistically speaking, cup matches can be a bit of a headache to analyze because of those weird matchups against lower-division teams or when the big clubs throw out their B-teams... it skews the numbers. Based on how things are looking right now, I might give a slight edge to the Galaxy, but honestly, betting on the goals feels like the safer play. What’s interesting about LAFC’s run to the final is that they didn't manage to score in regulation during either leg of the semifinals. That makes me think it's highly unlikely they stay quiet today. It’s a one-and-done scenario, so there's no room for playing it safe or overthinking the math. The Galaxy score a ton, but they also bleed goals themselves; they’re the kind of team that can look world-class one minute and then completely fall apart the next. I'm leaning toward that first option, though. Given how they've been performing lately, it would be a total shock if they don't find the back of the net today. If I'm being totally subjective, I’d love to see them take the cup 🤣. They play such an open game, always hunting for the goal, so regardless of who actually wins, I have to put money on this type of bet. It just feels right whenever these two face off. If only the kickoff wasn't so late, I could actually sit down and watch the whole thing ☕

Chicago/Memphis... No @ 1.55

Chicago hit the over 2.5 line in 1 out of their last 10 games, though they managed it 3/10 at home
Memphis was 1/10 lately... but hey, they actually hit it 5/10 times before, though they were only 1/6 back in 2013
Honestly, I don't think there's any real "value" here given the odds, especially since we're talking about a massive pile of cash, but I guess they'll probably just keep playing like this, so...

Seattle Sounders vs LA Galaxy 3+ @ 1.52 (US Open Cup Final - Los Angeles)

Look, when these two squads meet, things usually get messy—out of their last six matchups, five of them have absolutely exploded for over 2.5 goals... just pure chaos.
The Galaxy are basically scoring machines right now, averaging a ridiculous 4.3 goals per game. Seriously, out of their last 17 matches, they’ve only had two where the score stayed low... they’re routinely dropping three or more on their own.
Now, Seattle has been a total disappointment this season—they spent way too much time hovering near the bottom of the standings—but lately? They've finally found their rhythm and started actually finishing plays.
They just ripped through their last two games with 4-0 and 0-4 shutouts, and they've put up 20 goals over their last seven outings alone.
Back on April 20th, they got humbled at home by the Galaxy in a 1-3 loss...

I'm expecting an absolute shootout here. Given how much both sides have been cranking out goals recently, it's a safe bet that both nets are getting rattled... the Over is the play.

Atlanta United vs Inter Miami 1 @ 1.35

If you look at the history, Miami has been struggling big time against Atlanta, picking up only 7 points out of a possible 51 in their last 17 meetings.
Atlanta is a fortress—they’ve won 11 straight home games in a row—and honestly, there isn't anyone in the league even remotely close to challenging them for the title this year. Plus, the head-to-head stats are heavily tilted in Atlanta's favor.
Their record against Miami is almost terrifyingly dominant:
For instance, in their last three meetings, Atlanta took everything—a 0-4 away win, and then back-to-back home wins of 6-0 and 5-1.

02/27/13, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 6 : 0
08/26/12, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 5 : 1
04/15/12, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 3 : 1
07/30/11, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 1 : 0
02/25/11, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 4 : 0
08/30/10, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 3 : 1
06/16/10, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 3 : 0
02/06/10, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 2 : 0
05/06/09, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 2 : 0
04/04/09, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 3 : 1
07/27/08, Atlanta United - Inter Miami 4 : 0

Sure, Miami might give them a little run for their money, but I don't see them walking away with anything other than an L against an Atlanta squad this dominant at home.

Genk vs. Cercle - Over 2.5 @ 1.60
Over 3.5 @ 2.45
Both teams to score + Over 2.5 @ 2.10

It’s the US Open Cup final—Genk is fighting to stay relevant while Cercle is chasing the championship title. Honestly, both sides have been looking pretty sharp lately. They’re playing at a neutral site in Chicago this time around, and if you look at their recent history, things usually get wild—we've seen 21 goals fly in over their last four matchups (think 3-3, 3-1, 3-2, and 2-4)🤷

FC Porto-Benfica 1 @ 2,00

Man looks like Benfica is just totally gassed after those four brutal European matches—it’s finally catching up to them against Estoril, especially with that massive showdown against Chelsea coming up this Wednesday.

On the flip side, Porto has definitely found their groove now that they've realized the title is actually back on the table!

It’s all about that mental edge, right? Between Benfica being weighed down by their schedule and the fact that they’re basically fighting to reclaim ground they thought was already won—but now it's looking more like Porto's territory.

Arsenal-Wigan F2 @ 1,80

Wigan is playing in the FA Cup final this Saturday, so they’re bound to leave everything on the field for what is a huge, historic game for them. But then? Just three days later, they have to face a hungry Arsenal squad that absolutely needs this win if they want to secure that Champions League spot.

USA(17)-Ukraine(17) 1 @ 1,70

After crushing both the Russians and the Italians (who lost their first two games), Ukraine is basically packing their bags to head home... meanwhile, we absolutely need this win if we want to stay in the hunt for qualification!

Volga -Alania 1 @ 1.85

Volga only has one match left in these last three rounds where they can realistically grab those life-saving three points. And who are they playing? Alania! They're basically out already, struggling big time with money issues, and they're even missing their star player, Royston Drenth.

Plus, let's not forget—Volga already beat them 2-0 on the road earlier this season!

Brescia vs. Livorno 1 @ 2.00 (US League)

At the start of last weekend, I suppose Livorno looked like the most certain candidate for direct promotion to the major league—but then, things seemed to go quite wrong.

They were overtaken in the standings after losing momentum following a loss to a side like Pro Vercelli, while in their match against their local rivals Ternana—where even the home supporters actually cheered for the visitors because they dislike Verona—Livorno led for most of the game at 1-0, only to concede a tragic goal in the 90th minute and lose two vital points.

As Eric Fox7 mentioned earlier this week, Livorno might still have one final opportunity to avoid the playoffs and secure direct promotion by finishing third, provided they can maintain a lead of 10 points or more over fourth place. Currently, Livorno sits at 77 points with fourth-place Empoli at 69. Tonight marks the penultimate match of the regular season and the very last time Livorno plays on their home turf.

The Mayor of Livorno ordered that club flags be displayed on official government buildings yesterday; there seems to be an absolute mobilization of fans and citizens throughout the city, and last night the ultras organized a vigil and a parade through the streets that lasted until the early morning hours, so a packed stadium and spectacular support are expected.

If Livorno manages to win their remaining two matches—their final one being against Modena away at Sassuolo—direct promotion is mathematically guaranteed, though I haven't personally run the numbers myself, I believe the local newspapers suggest that is the case http://www.lanazione.it/livorno/cron..._brescia.shtml )

So, I guess Brescia stands no chance tonight. Livorno really shouldn't allow a slip-up like last week to happen again, especially not in front of such an electrified home crowd. 😁

Chicago Fire – Austin FC -> X2 1.39 Stanley

There is just one match from the USL Championship on my radar today. Looking strictly at the standings, you might assume it’s a cakewalk for the home side... however, the situation behind the scenes is far from stable. The club is facing significant financial hurdles and several players have reportedly missed paychecks recently. To make matters worse, they lost about ten players during the winter break, and now they're dealing with two more suspensions today. There are even whispers regarding their licensing for next season... With only five rounds left and an eleven-point cushion above the relegation zone, I don't see much motivation for these players to go all out today. On the other hand, you have Austin, who had a disastrous first half of the season, but since the break, they've transformed into an entirely different beast, losing only once in their last ten outings. They’ve climbed from the bottom and are now trailing the playoff line by a mere three points. As if the momentum shift wasn't enough, several players actually moved from Chicago to Austin for nothing... And to top it all off, these two clubs maintain such friendly relations that I struggle to see a victory for the home side. For the bold, a straight away win, but for me, the double chance is plenty...

Seattle Sounders – St. Louis City -> 1 1.33 Stanley

The MLS season is winding down, and the race for continental qualification and survival is heating up. We have a classic matchup today where the hosts are chasing a spot in the playoffs while the visitors are fighting for their lives... Seattle sits in 6th place, tied on points with the 5th seed, while the 7th place team is right on their heels. With seven teams separated by only a few points, every single point carries immense weight. While Seattle hasn't been playing flawlessly, don't let that recent narrow loss fool you—those goals were conceded in the dying minutes of the match. The talent gap here clearly favors the Sounders... The visitors are essentially living on borrowed time, as they are six points adrift from safety. They did manage a win against a top side last week, but we shouldn't overlook how much a red card in the first half helped them along. Their away form has been quite poor this season, particularly lately... I considered the handicap, but a simple home win should suffice...

Gaz Metan Medias vs. Otelul Galati 1 2,00

Man, Gaz Metan has been absolutely tearing it up lately—they’re sitting on an 8-game unbeaten streak at their home stadium, including 6 straight wins... they just look unstoppable right now.

On the flip side, Otelul is looking completely lost. Their form is honestly pathetic; they’re basically playing like they have zero motivation to stay up, just stumbling through matches with no direction whatsoever.
To make matters worse, their coach, Grigoras, is out due to some medical issues and isn't coming back to the bench for the rest of the season. Total mess.
Given how much momentum the home team has compared to this Otelul squad—who just got dismantled 0-2 at home by U Cluj—it’s pretty obvious who the favorites are here. There’s really nothing for the visitors to grab onto given the current gap in quality.
The home side is on a roll and they are definitely going to push hard to climb as high as possible in the standings before the season ends.

Norrköping vs. Elfsborg......Over 1.75 goals

7.L: this over 2.5+; +Livorno-1x; +GazMet-1x for 3/10

So, Elfsborg finally woke up after that rough patch of four losses in a row and they’ve managed to string together three wins now. They're finishing 5 out of 7 matches with the over, and honestly, they only failed to score in just one of those games. As for Norrköping... they've hit the over in 6 out of 7 matches (and 5 out of 7 for the over 2.5+), so I guess I really feel like the over 2.5+ could happen today too, kind of like how you'd look at a decent line on a Lakers game, maybe Elfsborg should take it, but this coefficient just looks pretty solid to me so...

Good luck everyone!

slybison8 said:I suppose there really isn't much chance for the Atlanta Braves tonight. After last week's upset against the Marlins, they probably shouldn't risk another slip-up, especially not with this home crowd getting so worked up. 😁

Actually, I should probably correct myself. While I still feel like the Braves might struggle tonight, I guess I have to consider that they have plenty of motivation to ruin the Marlins' celebration, since being in sixth place means they could still make a run for the playoffs. Even if they don't quite make it to the World Series, those extra postseason games would bring in some significant revenue.

Still, I think I'll stick with my original prediction of a home win—I imagine the Marlins simply have to pull this one off in front of their own fans.

02,00 Huachipato - S.Wanderers 1 2,10 SS

(2,5) Over 1,60 SS

This isn't exactly my "lock of the day" or 😁 anything fancy, but I think there’s some value in following the home win at these odds... Huachipato is a total wild card right now—they play hot and cold, though lately they've been leaning way more toward the cold side. It’s a bit of a gamble. They didn't even grab their first league win until Matchday 6 because they were juggling both Champions League and domestic play, and honestly, they haven't looked great in either. Now they’re fully focused on the league, and personally, I think they're the better squad compared to today's visitors. They're finally finding a little momentum 🙂 after a massive embarrassment losing their last home game to a bottom-feeder like Cobresala. This is their chance to make it up to the fans. When I say they have momentum, I mean they managed to scrape a point away at Cola and then snagged a win against U. La Caleru on the road too. Hopefully, today is just part of that upward trend. Since they're playing on turf this season, there's a high probability we see goals. Wanderers aren't a bad group, but they're stuck in a slump. Two straight losses without scoring a single goal (lost 0:3 to Everton and 0:2 to Espanola). If you look at their away record, the only thing worth mentioning is that win against Católica, but I won't dwell on 🤣 since playing Católica at home is basically its own special category of difficulty. Also, weirdly enough, their home games aren't actually played at their own stadium; they use the second-division team San Luis's field, which has artificial turf instead of real ☕ grass. A lot of players, and even the manager, have been complaining about injuries because of it. All things considered, when I crunch the numbers, I'm looking at those 2,10 odds regardless of how the match shakes out, plus hitting the over on goals. I mean, these guys are playing in a league where the scoring averages are through the roof (Huachipato at 3.0 / S.Wanderers at 2.86)

Aston Villa vs Chelsea.................2 @ 1.90ss
Schalke vs Stuttgart.......................1 @ 1.40ss
Go Ahead Eagles / Over 2.5 + Dortmund...Yes @ 1.70ss

8.L: the stuff above + USA (1x) + gas (1x) for 2/10

-So, Chelsea hasn't even locked in their Champions League spot yet, and they're looking way sharper right now, and I don't even need to mention how good they are... The "issue" with this pick, I guess, is just that Villa isn't 100% safe from relegation yet (though I really doubt that happens).. maybe that's why the odds look like that, but I honestly think they'll be hunting for that point in the final round, which they probably won't even need unless Wigan somehow pulls off an upset against Arsenal🙂- so yeah, I'm skeptical..
-Schalke needs this one big time for CL qualification, whereas Stuttgart kind of doesn't give a damn about anything else at this point.
Schalke form: 7-1-2 (20:10)
Stuttgart form: 3-2-5 (9:13)
-The Dutch second division is pretty much famous for the over 2.5 goals thing, and these guys are playing promotion playoffs, specifically the second leg of the semis, and since Eagles were down a man and lost 2-1, then ended up drawing 3-3, they're actually way stronger than people think, so maybe just picking them outright would be safer than the combo (even if the odds are a tiny bit lower at 1.65), but I guess I'm just a slave to my habits, so whatever..🙂

P.S. Huge props to driftingcrane27 and slybison8 for yesterday—that was absolute perfection.👍

EL PASO - SAN ANTONIO 1 1.65

A defining moment for El Paso—it’s essentially their season on the line. A club that was playing in the Major Leagues not too long ago is now staring down the barrel of relegation from the minor leagues. On the other side, you have San Antonio, a squad with absolutely zero skin in the game at this stage. With El Paso's roster looking healthy today, they have the opportunity to take matters into their own hands. Despite their current standing, their talent level suggests a decisive win—even if the odds are shifting due to these exact factors. We'll take it regardless.

SEATTLE - COLUMBUS 1 1.25

The MLS season is hitting its final stretch—a tight race between Seattle and Columbus. Seattle has been in stellar form lately; they play well on the road, but they've been particularly dominant at home recently. To make matters better, two of their most vital players are back from injury. They face Columbus today, a team comfortably sitting in the middle of the pack with nothing to lose. For Seattle, these three points are non-negotiable—they have a brutal schedule ahead against the title contenders, so they simply cannot afford to drop points in matches that look this easy on paper.
