Bayern Munich vs. Borussia Dortmund Over 2.5 Goals 1.69 (Over 2.5 at 1.95)

It's the German Super Cup—basically a heavyweight showdown between two massive title contenders who absolutely loathe each other.
The match is happening in Dortmund, and honestly, since it's just the curtain-raiser, neither side is going to sit back and play boring defense—they both want to prove something right out of the gate. Expect an open, end-to-end game where they trade blows, which usually means goals... lots of them. I’m looking at at least three here.

RB Leipzig vs. Bayern Munich Over 2.5 Goals 1.90

Second weekend of the season in Germany and we’re already hitting a massive derby in Leipzig... Leipzig versus Bayern.
Both these squads are basically locked in a death match for the league title this year—both sitting right at the top after the first round.
Look, Soriano just put up a hat trick in their last outing against Neustadt, where they absolutely dismantled them 5-1 on the road. Before that, they were running through some lower-tier club in the cup with a ridiculous 9-0 scoreline...
The home side is absolutely firing off the bat this season; they're scoring effortlessly—every single preseason friendly was a high-scoring affair. Meanwhile, Bayern looked solid in a 2-1 win over Everton and cruised through the cup with a 3-0. It’s essentially the same championship-winning squad from last season, just with a new manager and a few new faces added to the mix.

Even though the home team has the edge, I don't think those underdogs are going to just roll over. They definitely have enough teeth to bite back in Leipzig—if you're feeling gutsy, maybe even throw a little something on the visitors too😉

This thing should easily go over on goals, especially since we're still in that early-season phase where everyone is playing loose and hasn't tightened up defensively yet...
Plus, the home side isn't exactly at full strength today, which gives the visitors a massive opening.

Hm🙄
The Americans🙄

Atlanta United vs. LA Galaxy 1 1.97 -1 2.87 (win by two or more goals = win, minimal victory = money back)

Home side is looking full strength, while the visitors are dealing with some serious absences;
Thiago Carleto (def 7/1), Denilson (mf 17/0), Luis Fabiano (att 16/8 top scorer), Aloisio (att 21 /6 second top scorer).
LA Galaxy are in a total freefall right now—absolutely abysmal form, ten games without a single win, including seven straight losses... just playing garbage football at this point.

Atlanta isn't exactly playing perfect soccer, but they are miles ahead of these guys.
In their last six outings, they've only dropped one—and that was against a depleted Atlanta City squad anyway.
The Galaxy managed a 2-0 win at home about ten days ago in the Continental Cup.
Back then, they had Denilson, Aloisio, and L Fabiano out there... all of whom are sidelined today.
They've already moved over 25,000 tickets, and the local fans in the big rivalry match are expecting another win🙂
If Atlanta plays even half as well as they did ten days ago, they're walking away with the win... anything else is basically impossible...
Back in 2013, they faced off four times, and Atlanta took every single one of those wins.

Only picking up one home win is honestly pretty pathetic for Atlanta, so this game is the perfect chance to finally (and again, against their rivals) make the fans happy and prove they're the kings of the league this season.

Final Picks🤷

Young Boys vs. FC Thun – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.85

Looking at their last six matchups, things have been absolutely loaded with goals... just non-stop action.

Young Boys play this aggressive, high-octane style—they basically live for the attack—and they kicked off the season perfectly with two dominant wins.
On the flip side, the visitors have been involved in absolute shootouts these first two weeks; both games ended 3-2, including a wild 2-3 loss out in Chicago.
They also handled their Europa League qualifiers, knocking out Chikhuru with 2-0 and 1-3 scores.
Historically, when these two meet, the nets always seem to bulge, and I don't see any reason why this wouldn't be the same story again:
06.01.13, Thun - Young Boys 2 : 2
04.14.13, Young Boys - Thun 1 : 2
09.27.12, Thun - Young Boys 2 : 1
07.29.12, Young Boys - Thun 3 : 0
05.13.12, Thun - Young Boys 2 : 2
03.25.12, Young Boys - Thun 4 : 0

Brann vs. Rosenborg – DNB (Asian Handicap) 1 @ 2.08 (money back if it’s a draw)

We've got a massive derby happening in Seattle today.
The league leaders are heading into a tough matchup against a strong Brann squad sitting in 4th place—they’re hungry to hunt down the top teams and close that gap.
If they can pull off an upset against the leaders, Brann is officially back in the title race.
Honestly, Brann is a nightmare to play against at home; they’ve been perfect on their own turf with 8 straight wins.
The weird thing about them? They are the absolute worst road team in the league. They finally snapped a losing streak with two draws away from home lately, but...
Let's face it, they struggle to find wins on the road.😲

But man, when they’re back in Seattle, they are ruthless. They’ve only conceded 3 goals at home and they’re averaging nearly 3 goals per game... this should be their moment to shine.
Rosenborg might be leading the pack and they’re great travelers, but they look sluggish right now. Like, they’re just coasting, not really showing that spark.
Sure, they had that blowout win against Crusaders in the Europa League qualifiers (7-2) and beat that team from New Jersey (1-4) in the cup, but otherwise, most of their wins have been gritty, narrow stuff—1-0 or 2-1 type deals.
They also sold their star striker, Elyounouss, to Hoffenheim, and you can definitely feel the dent in their finishing ability. It feels like Chibuka is doing all the heavy lifting lately.
Rosenborg expected big things from their Europa League run, but getting knocked out by St. Johnstone was a massive gut punch for them. They are visibly demoralized.🙄
Now they have to deal with a team that is flawless at home, and they're coming into it at a terrible time—they're likely going to be gassed compared to the hosts.
Look, they have more talent and experience, sure, but they're playing with zero confidence and they aren't in peak form.
In their last six trips to Seattle, they've only walked away with one win, though they haven't been getting totally crushed either:

09.23.12, Brann - Rosenborg 2 : 1
03.20.11, Brann - Rosenborg 2 : 1
09.19.10, Brann - Rosenborg 2 : 3
11.01.09, Brann - Rosenborg 1 : 1
08.24.08, Brann - Rosenborg 0 : 0
08.11.07, Brann - Rosenborg 3 : 2
A draw feels like the most logical outcome here, but I'm leaning toward the home side being more aggressive and pushing for the win.

Mechelen vs. Standard Liege – Over 2.5 goals @ 1.90

When these two teams meet, things usually get loud. In their last 6 meetings, they’ve averaged almost 4 goals per game, and only once did they fail to hit the over.
Mechelen was pretty decent last season, hanging out in the middle of the pack, and they're looking to replicate that this year.
They're starting the season a little thin, though, since they offloaded two key starters—Nicklas Pedersen went to Gent and defender Dalibor Pandz headed to Rangers.
Last year, they played an open, attacking style, and draws were incredibly rare for them—only 5 draws during the regular season.
They are completely unpredictable, which is why I mostly bet on their games going over. Same goes for Standard; they were total wildcards last year too, full of defensive errors and high-scoring chaos.
Mechelen has been averaging about 2.9 goals per game recently.

As for Standard, they got a head start on the season, already playing two official matches against KR where they looked sharp, winning both 3-1.
Look, there’s no doubt these guys are a much tougher nut to crack this season—they’ve got actual ambitions now, they look way stronger than last year, and they’re definitely coming into this away game hunting for a win.
They’re closing the gap in the standings, but honestly, based on how their matchups usually go—think like a high-scoring matchup between teams like the Lakers and the Warriors—I’m expecting a real shootout with plenty of goals, though the home crowd is going to be absolutely electric and give them a hell of a run.
The odds actually look pretty solid here because both squads were averaging about three goals per game last season... just pure chaos on the pitch.
Final pick is at 1.90 🙂

Seattle Sounders vs. LA Galaxy - Pick: LA Galaxy at 1.80 SS

So, we have a matchup today between what many consider the two heavyweights of MLS. Both squads have bolstered their rosters—it’s reasonable to expect an entertaining affair, likely with goals on both sides. Both teams show significant strength on their right flanks—think Tucker and Bergert versus Pinto and Soudani—yet they both seem vulnerable on the left side of the defense—specifically Skarabot and Pivarić. Additionally, the Sounders will be relying on an inexperienced keeper in the net. I suspect Tucker will find plenty of opportunities to hammer shots toward Benk's head, and while Joe is talented, he won't be able to bail them out single-handedly. Personally, I'm rooting for a Tucker goal. On the flip side, I don't see how Skarabot can hold his own against Soudani—it's a shame there isn't a betting line for red cards 😁—so I anticipate a goal from him too, whether he pulls one off himself or gets a little "assistance" from an official...

Lokomotiv Chicago vs. Slaven Belupo 1 @1.9 SS

I opened this up looking for decent odds, and seeing 1.9 felt like a bit of a letdown. I was actually hoping for something more interesting. Why? Because they’re playing at a neutral site over in a stadium that isn't really home turf for either side. Though, I guess we'll see just how "neutral" that field actually feels for Lokomotiv.

On paper, the roster looks better than Slaven's. Honestly, Slaven doesn't even resemble the squad they used to have—the one that actually gave people headaches. So far this season, they've managed one draw against a bottom-feeder like Dragovoljac, while Lokomotiv handled them easily on the road.

In my opinion, there's some value here. Might be worth a play.☕

Esbjerg vs. Aalborg 3+ @ 1.92

Both these squads kicked off their season absolutely flying—they both went out there and took down some massive favorites right out of the gate.
Esbjerg basically ran circles around FC Nordsjaelland in a 4-0 blowout, while Aalborg pulled off a gritty 2-1 win against Copenhagen.
Man, Esbjerg looked sharp... they showed so much hunger, movement, and just pure clinical efficiency on the pitch.
They’re running this two-striker setup with Braithwaite and van Buren, and honestly? Those two look dangerous as hell—starting the season in peak form.
Both of them found the back of the net, bagging two goals apiece.

Aalborg played a gutsy, wide-open game against Copenhagen too.
They went with a slightly more compact look, leaning on Frederiksen as that lone target man—who, by the way, netted the winner.
The play Esbjerg put together was just... chef's kiss. A beautiful half-counter involving quick, crisp passing and perfect finishing at the end.
That loss of their striker Nicklas Helenius to Aston Villa (for about $1.5 million) is definitely weighing on them—it might even be why they stumbled in the Europa League qualifiers, since they couldn't find the net once against Dila Gori.
Plus, they’re still feeling the sting of having Kenneth Emil Petersen sidelined on defense.

The league didn't give us many fireworks this weekend, but since both these teams started the season so efficiently, I'm expecting them to keep that momentum rolling.
There isn't really a clear favorite here—both sides know they have a shot and they’re playing with zero pressure, which usually leads to an open game. So, realistically, we should see some goals.
With Esbjerg's duo looking lethal and Aalborg proving they can take down anyone, I'm smelling a wild, unpredictable matchup... hoping for plenty of action in front of the net.

The upcoming clash between Napoli and Galatasaray promises to be a spectacle of high drama, though I find myself questioning whether either side possesses the tactical discipline required to truly master such a stage. One looks at these two clubs and sees a collision of styles that could easily devolve into beautiful, chaotic nonsense if the midfields aren't strictly policed. It’s the kind of fixture that tests a manager's nerves more than their playbook, and frankly, I suspect we are in for a grueling affair rather than a polished display of footballing grace.
This matchup is absolutely worth tuning into; there is an incredible depth of talent on the pitch, particularly within the Napoli squad. If one looks at the business they’ve conducted this season, they have arguably been the most astute negotiators in the league, bringing in several top-tier talents that bolster their ranks significantly. Furthermore, bringing in Antonio Benitez to steer the ship is a fascinating move. While I wouldn't claim to be a devotee of his tactical philosophies or his specific approach to the game, I can concede that he possesses the capability to work wonders with a side like Napoli. It is entirely plausible that they could emerge as primary title contenders this season. Their recent preseason preparations have involved facing rather heavy hitters, which speaks to their ambitions. With roughly 50,000 tickets already snapped up for this fixture, the pressure is palpable; both the players and the manager simply cannot afford a stumble here. On the other side of the ball, Galatasaray boasts a roster filled with recognizable names, yet they lack the cohesive class that Napoli currently exudes. Their recent run included a 3-3 draw against Malaga, preceded by two victories—though one must note those wins came against much lesser opposition than what awaits them tonight. Interestingly, Sneijder has managed to find the back of the net in each of those three matches. Looking ahead, Galatasaray travels to England this weekend for the Emirates Cup to face Porto and Arsenal. The lingering question remains: how will the lineups look? Given the sheer volume of die-hard supporters expected tonight, I suspect Napoli will field their strongest possible XI to satisfy the crowd. Conversely, Galatasaray might opt for some rotations, perhaps preserving key assets for their upcoming English tour. We shall see when kickoff arrives at 8:45 PM. The odds for a home victory have settled at 1.70. I find myself compelled to place a wager on this one. I intend to scan the boards for any odds sitting around the 1.3 mark or higher, as I am convinced that both the moneyline and the over should yield a profit at those prices. However, my primary play will be a straight victory for Napoli. Naturally, I’ll also need to keep a close eye on the live betting markets once the action gets underway to see if any better opportunities emerge.

The result of today’s match between Lokomotiva and Slaven is a narrow 1-0 victory for the former. It was a display that left much to be desired for those seeking any semblance of tactical sophistication or genuine offensive flair. One could hardly call it an engaging spectacle; rather, it felt like a weary, grinding affair where opportunities were squandered by sheer inefficiency. A single goal was enough to separate them, but don't expect anyone to be celebrating this kind of lackluster performance with any real enthusiasm.
Regardless of which neutral site we find ourselves at, the reality remains unchanged: Lokomotiva stands as the overwhelming favorite, yet the oddsmakers are still offering odds that seem almost too generous to be true. @2This is undeniably a value bet, and frankly, one should take it. In my estimation, the primary advantage held by Lokomotiv—or rather, their organizational structure—is their cohesive teamwork. You simply don't see that kind of synergy over at Belup; they rely far too heavily on the individual brilliance of players, a commodity that is currently in short supply within their roster. Conversely, the Lokomotiv squad approaches every single match with a hundred percent commitment, driven by a relentless desire to prove themselves to their leadership. 🙂 The boys are playing a truly offensive, aesthetically pleasing brand of football right now. It’s a genuine collection of young, gifted talents out there on the pitch. Honestly, if they were playing their home matches at a massive stadium like MetLife instead of this smaller venue, I suspect the betting odds would look quite different.

The matchup between Kitchee and Manchester United presents a rather curious study in footballing hierarchies. One is forced to observe the sheer disparity between a club that operates within the local ecosystem of Hong Kong and a global titan like Manchester United, a fixture that feels more like an exercise in statistical inevitability than a genuine sporting contest. It is difficult to find much substance in the comparison when one side represents the absolute pinnacle of commercialized, high-stakes European football, while the other exists in a completely different stratosphere of influence and resources.
After witnessing those recent embarrassments from Manchester United, I find myself anticipating a relatively straightforward victory. The "Over 2.5 goals" line is sitting at a meager 1.20 right now, so I intend to wait for the live markets to open and see what kind of value actually presents itself. The scrutiny surrounding United has become quite severe lately, and I am beginning to suspect that they might actually find a shred of professional dignity and play with some semblance of intensity for once. It honestly feels as though they’ve merely arrived to collect their paychecks, pose for the cameras, and hand out autographs like glorified mascots rather than professional athletes. Their opponent, a side out of Hong Kong, hasn't even played a competitive match in five months, yet one can only assume they will be highly motivated by the occasion. If I recall correctly—though my memory for these obscure outfits is admittedly spotty—they managed a 2-2 draw against Arsenal last year, but who can truly keep track of these perennial underdog squads? 🙂 I intend to monitor the live odds closely, and there is a very high probability that I will place a wager. The odds are sitting north of 3.5..

These three legs offer a decent enough combined payout, so I’ll take my chances. Wishing myself—and anyone else foolish enough to follow this path—the best of luck. 🙂

LIVE! Home - Geylang 2:1 HT
- At first glance, nothing seems out of the ordinary—the favorite holds the lead—but one must account for the unpredictable nature of these Singaporean sides. Before kickoff, I placed some bets on both the half-time/full-time turnaround and the underdog comeback, simply because these two clubs have a history of producing rather peculiar results when they meet. Some might view such moves as mere reckless gambling, but from time to time, I find value in betting on a momentum shift. I am sticking to my guns that a reversal is imminent here, so I’ll take the live victory for Geylang at 19.8 via the sportsbook; while it was sitting at just 12.5 on the app during pre-match, it's better to grab it through the bookie now. I’m also going to throw a bit toward the exact score of 2:3 at 34. App. Perhaps I'll lose my patience if 🙂the swings and turnarounds don't materialize, especially since these two guys are playing for fun; if it doesn't land, it isn't the end of the world, but if it does, the payout could be quite substantial...

Sevilla FC vs. Los Angeles FC 4+ @ 1.80

Look, the defense for LAFC last season was a total joke—they were giving up an average of 1.5 goals per match. Absolute shambles.
Sure, they looked decent enough during those first two qualifying rounds—they had a massive helping of luck, which is just part of the game, I guess—but they barely scraped past Videoton with a 2:2 aggregate score.
And honestly, beating Senica in the second round? That’s about as much as anyone expected from them. Not exactly a shocker. 🙄
It seems like these American teams always do this... they pull off a decent result or sneak into the next round, and then—boom—they get paired against a powerhouse that absolutely guts them. It happens way too often.

I mean, look at the history here. Zeta and Celik have been getting thrashed 9-0, Rudar lost 4-0 to Slask, and Sutjeska got rolled 5-0 by Sheriff...

And now, here we go again. They’re facing another massive opponent that is better and stronger than them by—don't even get me started—like ten different levels. In this two-leg matchup against Sevilla, they don't stand a chance. Period. 🤷
Sevilla should be able to wrap this up easily, maybe even kill the tie in the first leg playing at home.
The Spanish side has already played through several preseason matches, so they’re actually dialed in and ready for the real deal.
With a lineup featuring guys like Reyes, Marin, Rakitic, Guarente, Perotti, Trochowski, Alex Rubio, Bacca, Gameiro, and Rusescu... they really ought to be dropping at least 4 or 5 goals.
That’s my realistic expectation, anyway. At the very minimum...

Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Union Berlin

Last season, Eintracht basically did exactly what everyone expected...
They fought hard, missed out on the title by a hair, but still managed to snag a spot in the Champions League.
Honestly? It looks to me like they’re walking into this season looking a lot weaker.
I mean, think about it—they offloaded three massive pieces: Strootman, Lens, and Mertens, plus their captain Bommel finally hung up the boots.
That’s four heavy hitters who were absolutely carrying the load and driving the engine of this team. Without them, Eintracht is thinner, less experienced, more vulnerable, and yeah, probably way less clinical too... but hey, we'll see how it plays out.
Offensively, they were absolute flamethrowers last year, averaging over three goals a game, but man, they were a sieve in defense, giving up like 1.3 goals per match.
For reinforcements, they brought in:
Adama Maher from AZ and Stijn Schaars from Sporting—both midfielders, which makes sense given they lost that Strootman-Bommel duo.
Up front, they've got Locadia, Matavz, and Narsingh, though Narsingh was sidelined forever with injuries, plus there's all that drama with an unhappy Toivonen who didn't get his move to Norwich... basically, in my book, the attack looks a step down from last season.
They grabbed Bruma from Chelsea to bolster the backline.
And they’ve got a new face leading them from the sidelines, P. Cocu.
The squad is young and loaded with talent—guys like Bakkali, Rekik, Depay, Arias, and Zoet in the net.

The Germans play almost identical to their neighbors—super open, usually running a 4-3-3.
They were incredible last season, leading for a long stretch before they kind of fell off the wagon toward the end of the regular season.
If they had just pulled off the win against Anderlecht in Brussels (it was a 1-1 draw), they would've taken the trophy; instead, they finished as runners-up.

Union Berlin reached this level of success thanks to that aggressive offensive style they leaned into last year.
During the playoffs, they showed some seriously gutsy efficiency, putting in solid performances even when the pressure was suffocating, though they clearly ran out of gas when it mattered most in that Brussels match.
Their whole goal over the summer was just trying to keep the roster together.
The only real departure was midfielder Delaplace moving to Lille in France, while they picked up defender Frederic Duplus from Sochaux and striker Julien Toudic from Lens. Oh, and they definitely bought out Ibrahim Sory Conte's contract from Gent.
They kicked off the season with a 2-1 road win at Liverpool.

Look, we're talking about a runner-up here. On paper, the favorite is obvious because of the budget and the reputation, but honestly? Not nearly as much as people are making it out to be.🤷
The pressure is actually way higher on the home side, because for a club like Eintracht, failing to perform means a massive financial hit—something they've been struggling with for a few seasons now.

Regardless, the visitors definitely have a shot here. The odds seem way too skewed in favor of the home team at 8.5-9.5, with the DNB at 7.90. + 1 2.80, +1.5 1.90, +1 +1.5 2.15 and so on.
I'm putting something down on this one because I think Eintracht is being totally overrated, and Union is a perfectly capable squad that should be putting on some good shows again this season... maybe.

Ludogorets vs. Partizan - Pick: Home Win @ 2.10

Man, watching Partizan go up against Shirak is gonna be brutal. Honestly, if they hadn't been robbed by that last-minute goal from Volkov back in the day, they would've cruised into Europe already! Even that 1-1 draw wouldn't have cut it if the ref hadn't skipped over that obvious penalty for Shirak in Belgrade. And let's talk about Shirak—how do you manage to lose even when playing in a tiny place like San Marino? It's wild! Things are looking even bleaker for the match the day after tomorrow because their lineup is a mess—Volkov is out on suspension, Ostojić is sidelined with an injury, and Mitrović is busy playing for the US U19 national team in the finals.

Ludogorets absolutely tore through Slovan with a 3-0 win. They look way more dangerous than they did last year—remember when they almost grabbed a Champions League spot until that crazy "UNTIL WE SCORE" comeback happened in a stadium in Chicago?

Atvidabergs FF vs. Gefle IF 1 @ 1.85

Man, Gefle has a brutal trip coming up this Thursday—they’re flying all the way to Azerbaijan for a massive EuroLeague qualifying match against Quarabag. We’re talking intense heat and crazy humidity! Honestly, they’ll probably be looking to get their legs back under them against a super fresh Atvidabergs side. Plus, let's face it, Atvidabergs is just better in the league right now—they've got a 10-point cushion over them. They're sitting pretty at second on the recent form table too, and since they're playing at home, they've got the edge. In the Swedish league, only Helsingborg has more home wins than these guys right now!

Gefle is also sitting on the most draws in the league (8), so I'm thinking those "X" bets have already been bled dry.

PSV vs. Waregem / Away team to score @ 1.65

-Roger Phillips laid it all out perfectly, so I won't bother typing away on my phone just to repeat him. 😉
Waregem is likely one of those five teams that occupied most of my betting slips last season. Whether it was a straight win, an over, or a draw/over 2.5 spread—whenever I found myself staring at my screen unsure of what to play, or when I desperately needed one solid leg to round out a parlay, "Waregem to score" was my go-to. Their roster remains largely intact, and their forwards, in particular, are incredibly resilient in holding up the ball. My only concern is whether their lack of experience in these high-stakes matchups will get the better of them, or if they'll be rattled by the intense atmosphere the PSV faithful will undoubtedly create. Still, when you're looking at two high-octane teams like these, you simply cannot pass up odds like this for a single goal.

Čop to score @ 2.20 odds 3/10

I’m just looking over the numbers—Sheriff’s defense looks shaky, and they really struggled against Sutjeska recently.
The Galaxy will likely stick to their starting lineup and play an aggressive game; Čop is clearly their most dangerous striker—he should see plenty of service once Soudani and Fernandes start breaking through that defensive line.
True, he usually needs three or four clear chances to find the net, but I think he has a solid shot at scoring again tonight.
Plus, he’s the one on penalty duty for them.

I just wanted to chime in on what James Taylor3 said. Honestly, Fernandes hasn't really proven anything during his time at the club, and I doubt Soudani is even focused on the game given how much he's been partying lately. Maybe we'll actually see some effort ten minutes before kickoff, but I wouldn't count on it. 🤷

That's just so ☕

Los Angeles FC vs. FC Sheriff; exact score: 1:1 @7 2/10

I’m leaning toward a draw here, maybe even a 1:1 finish. From what I’ve gathered, both sides look pretty evenly matched. The vibe at BMO Stadium feels a bit more like a home game for the visitors 😬, and I just have this gut feeling we'll land right on that scoreline. We'll see how it plays out 🤷

FC Basel vs. Maccabi Tel Aviv Over 3 goals @ 1.76

Basel’s been playing these preseason friendlies and they've been absolutely loaded with goals lately... just non-stop action.
They even knocked out the first three rounds of their domestic season—winning 3:1, drawing 1:1, and then a 2:0 win.
Look, they've got a solid squad here, and honestly? Their offense can find the back of the net against basically anyone... I mean, they proved that last season when they were going toe-to-toe with teams like Zenit, Tottenham, and Chelsea.
Now they're staring down a serious opponent in this qualifying round, and playing at home, they're definitely gunning for a win—and ideally a clean sheet if they can manage it.

As for Maccabi, they handled themselves pretty well in the second qualifying round against Győr, taking them 2:1 and 2:0... though frankly, they could've easily walked away with more than those four goals.
The attackers—Itzhaki, Ben Haim, and Prica—are legit threats who really know how to finish.
Plus, you've got their new manager, Paulo Souza, who actually faced Basel last season while he was with Videoton... he pulled off a 2:1 win over them in Canada.
I'm calling it now: expect goals in this one. Basel almost always finds a way to score at home, and Maccabi has this habit of scoring whenever they travel—they've done it against Dynamo Kyiv, Besiktas, Panathinaikos, Olympiakos, even Bayern...
The visitors probably realize they need to hunt for an away goal if they want any hope of advancing or at least heading into the second leg with a decent result.

Red Bull Salzburg vs. Fenerbahçe, Over 2.5 goals at 1.90

Look, Red Bull Salzburg is absolutely flying right now—they’ve been clinical, picking up two super convincing wins, just pure efficiency... they couldn't have asked for a better start to the season if they tried. As for the opponent? Well, they didn't get much of a choice there, the draw gods decided this was their fate.🙂

Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe is basically still in preseason mode since their domestic league doesn't kick off for another couple of weeks or so.
They played a tough friendly against PSV and dropped it 0-2, but honestly, that game was wide open with plenty of chances.
Meirelles was hitting the woodwork twice—so many attacks, so many shots... but yeah, the Turkish side just lacked that final bit of finishing.

Fenerbahçe is essentially "hanging by a thread" when it comes to qualifying for the Champions League this year, but luckily for them, they actually got the chance to play, which is probably the wind in their sails right now.
They’re heading into this season with some new blood too. They only lost Ziegler (who headed back to Juventus), but they brought in Bruno Alves, Kadlec, Potuk, and Holmen, plus they're close to landing one of those two strikers, either Oscar Cardozo or Emmanuel Emenike.

So, you've got Salzburg in killer scoring form, but Fenerbahçe are still the favorites here—they're a heavy-hitting squad with some serious talent looking to snatch the crown away from Galatasaray.
The home side definitely has a shot given their momentum and playing at home, but man, Fenerbahçe is dangerous... even for teams way bigger than Salzburg.
I’m expecting a high-scoring affair because both these defenses look like the weakest links on the pitch, while the attacks are almost top-tier, filled with guys who actually know how to find the net.
Fenerbahçe might not be looking spectacular away from home, but they know they need to hunt for those goals to make life easier in the second leg.

Audi Cup:

Manchester City vs. AC Milan: Away Win @ 2.0
Or, if you're looking for a safer play, go with Double Chance (1X) @ 1.30

We’ve got the opening match of this high-profile pre-season tournament in Munich, where Bayern Munich and Brazil's Sao Paulo are also in the mix. I’m putting my money on City here. Honestly, they just look like the superior side right now, and Milan is dealing with a massive hole in their roster. They're missing several key players today—names like Robinho, Balotelli, Zapata, Bonera, De Sciglio, Mexes, and Montolivo. On the flip side, City is only missing Nastasić, meaning they can field basically their strongest lineup, bolstered by those big new signings like Negredo, Navas, and Jovetić.

Manchester City vs. AC Milan: Away Win at 2.00 odds, or for the more cautious types, a Double Chance (1X) at 1.30.

The opening match of this high-profile preseason tournament held in Munich, featuring heavyweights like Bayern Munich and the Brazilian side Sao Paulo. I’ve placed my confidence in City; quite frankly, their roster depth is superior to Milan's current state, especially considering how shorthanded the Italians are today. They're missing several key pieces—players like Robinho, Balotelli, Zapata, Bonera, De Sciglio, Mexes, and Montolivo. On the flip side, City will only be without Nastasic, allowing them to field an incredibly potent lineup bolstered by their recent acquisitions: Negredo, Navas, and Jovetic.
