stormyharbor2 said:🤣 hihihi. It seems we had similar impressions. Regarding you down at the pier with the bandage and the clips, I pictured something like this http://library.thinkquest.org/06aug/...Man%20mage.jpg 😂

Well, you certainly gave me a laugh.😂All jokes aside, I agree that the clips can probably come off after a month or two. Some people even manage sooner if they heal quickly. My sister was wearing hers by the third day, and her puppy didn't mind one bit... honestly, he looks a hundred times better than mine does...🙂 😛 😁

Kate Taylor59 said:I read in an interview with Dr. Glusac that he inserts tubes through the tampon so you can breathe... did he do that to you guys too?
And regarding that part about waiting two years before you can breathe again—is it really that long?

Uhm, no.🤷 I didn't see any tubes, and honestly, I couldn't breathe at all until he finally took the tampons out—though I was dealing with a nasty cold anyway. From what I can tell, everyone else seems to need a few days or more since the nose clears up gradually...

stormyharbor2- pretty much like that, just a slightly more open version, minus the hat and the Ray-Bans 🙂

Kate Taylor59- the surgery cost me about $2,000. I'm thinking that might be a bit much since it was also a reconstruction of what was already there... who knows? My old man is handling the finances... the hotel was, I think, $100 per person, something like that... maybe $55 for a bed with a discount because you're his patient... plus a view of the sunny Santa Monica pier packed with people 🙂... and breakfast in the morning, they bring it right to your bed...

They didn't keep the tubes in, but I basically slept with tampons in just for that first night after the surgery; by morning, they were already out... honestly, it was great in the morning, he picked me up in the car, took everything off, and we talked a lot... we all laughed at how I acted when I was waking up from anesthesia... while I was sleeping, I kept hearing this long "beeeeeep," probably because the anesthesiologist was just removing the EKG leads from my chest, so I actually asked the guy if I was still alive... then I called Glusac to ask him if he thought I was still sane... then my mom showed up and started asking her if they were absolutely sure about everything... god, what a mess! I had some lucid dreams, too—it was wild, I could hardly believe it... but nothing bad, mostly

Honestly, if you can't live without your glasses, you might as well just head over to Gluky—according to him, you could probably wear them right into surgery! And for those who can't go a day without their football? You could probably get back on the field in a week if you're careful about taking hits. But me? I think I'll wait a little bit 🙂

Alright, I've got my checkup this Thursday—I'll let you know how everything goes!😁

I’m pretty much counting down the days until my second surgery.
The first one didn't quite go as planned.

You talk about trust... but I've sent you pictures multiple times and replied to countless emails. What could I have possibly done to be untrustworthy? Look, I don't really care about your photos, but suggesting we all go see him if we're so interested is just plain rude!

I guess I have to agree with this...
I've sent photos whenever any of the ladies on here asked, only for them to act all high and mighty later and refuse to send theirs...👎

Same as last time when I sent you those photos.
In short—it’s no good.

Does anyone have a more precise idea of when it’s safe to be around smoke again after nose surgery? I mean, places like bars or clubs. Thanks 🙂

Dammit. 😢 If it makes you feel any better, I'm not exactly thrilled either—but honestly, I've gotten so used to it that I don't even care anymore...

I didn't end up making it to my appointment after all—I came down with something and just wasn't feeling up to it.😢Well, I guess that means I'll just have to place another order—no biggie!

Carol Diaz31 said:That’s my biggest struggle right now. I love them as a fashion statement—really, I do—but the light sensitivity is the real kicker; I've been tearing up every time I step outside for two days straight. My doctor told me to leave them off for six weeks, but honestly? I’m playing it safe and going two months. 😁

On another note, my mom is so obsessed with my nose that she actually went to see Bastasic today since Toncic is on vacation. I have to admit, his rates are 😲 😲

So, how much did you end up paying?

Kimberly Baker13 said:Man, I'm so sorry 😢 What went wrong? Are you thinking about going back to Ostojic?

Yeah. He's actually really great, and I’d never say anything bad about him because he truly knows how to get the job done.
But my results just didn't turn out like everyone else's, so I'll probably give it another shot.
I still have that little bump, and even my nose isn't quite as straight as it should be. So... yeah.

How can you just be over it though?! hahaha, I remember when we were messaging and you said if things didn't work out, you were ready to end it all LOL?!

The Difference in price usually runs about $600 to $800, depending on what kind of work they're doing.

But honestly, I don't think the cost is even the main point here. At the end of the day, the result is all that matters. For now, I'm pretty happy with how things look. I just really hope my backside doesn't start sagging again... it’s been a little over a month since the procedure, and I am beyond satisfied. I mean, I don't even know what else to expect over the next five months, I guess.🤷

As for my mom, we'll just have to wait and see how that goes.🙂

I still have that little bump, and my nose isn't even as pointy as it was supposed to be. So yeah... that's where I'm at.

Good on you for being real about this and not just blaming the doctor for everything. Sometimes our bodies just don't cooperate the way we want them to, no matter how much of a pro is performing the surgery.
I'm seriously sorry it didn't work out the first time, and I'm rooting for you to get the perfect result on the second round! 😍
