I need some help here. Anyone got a minute? 🙏

I honestly don't even know what to tell you—I’ve been dealing with this absolute nightmare for a month straight now. First it was just stubborn blackheads, but then it escalated into full-on breakouts with pus and everything. And the worst part? I have never, ever had skin issues like this before.
Hang in there—it’ll pass. Honestly, the goat just stopped breathing and that’s that. Seven days is a long time to be hanging on by a thread like this.🙄

Hang in there, it'll pass. Your skin was basically suffocating, plain and simple. Seven days is a long stretch, though.-7 days is a long time🙄

Man, same here. My skin was perfect until now, and now this is driving me insane. I can't do anything about it either.😁

I went through the same thing—my nose was just covered in breakouts for an entire month. My whole face was breaking out, which was insane because I’ve seriously never had acne in my life. It was gross. Plus, the skin on my nose got incredibly oily. Just use an antiseptic acne toner to clean your face and honestly, you just have to deal with it and wait for your skin to get back to normal.

Has anyone here ever gone to see an ENT specialist in Chicago—maybe someone like Dr. Miller—for nose surgery?

Zachary Nguyen29, my dad and I were just looking at some photos 😁
regarding skin issues—honestly, the tape left my entire face feeling incredibly dry, yet my nose was an oily mess 😁... luckily, it cleared up after about a week. My advice? Just stick to washing with plain water (don't overdo it, maybe 3 or 4 times a day max)... and I used some Johnson & Johnson products 😁. Within a week, I felt like a completely different person

Skin issues are a joke. My whole face went bone dry from the adhesive, but my nose was an absolute grease trap. 😁A week ago, I started washing my face with just plain water—nothing crazy, maybe 3 or 4 times a day—and switched over to Johnson & Johnson. A week later, I look like a whole new person. 😁

Haven't taken any photos yet. Still dealing with some swelling. 😲Even the base of my nose is super swollen.🙄As for face washing and Johnson & Johnson, I just use New York. 😂Looks like I got hit the hardest with these bruises and swelling. 😁

brightotter21 said:Why do you think it's so bad there? 🤔I’ve heard Dr. Maxim is actually the top specialist in that area.

Look, my boyfriend went in for a consultation there, and since he had a connection at the hospital, he got seen by someone well-known who basically told him he needed to head to Washington, D.C.... and like I mentioned before, a friend of mine went in for a fix after her surgery in St. Louis (it was just a simple deviated septum) because her nose ended up deformed a year later. That was according to the surgeon in D.C., anyway. Oh, and when my boyfriend finally made it to D.C., the doctor was honestly baffled—he couldn't believe how a bunch of "experts" back in St. Louis missed the mark so completely. He was dealing with constant throat issues, and I told him straight up it was from the deviation since I've been through surgery myself. But those doctors in St. Louis? They wanted to go in and rip his tonsils out, which the D.C. doctor strongly advised against. So... yeah. Everyone has their own story, I guess. Take it for what it's worth.

Honestly, I don't know! I have a friend who was at a hospital in Chicago last year—she went in to fix a deviated septum, but they ended up doing some cosmetic work too, and she looks great... it really just depends on which doctor you pick.

Which doctor did you and your boyfriend see in Chicago?

Hey there, does anyone happen to know when it's actually safe to start wearing glasses again after surgery? I had my procedure about three months ago, and I’m still dealing with some occasional swelling around my nose, so it feels a little awkward to rest anything on it besides my usual skincare products. 🙂

That being said, I am absolutely loving the results! I had my surgery with Prime Dr. Maxim at a private clinic in Washington, D.C. 🙏

By the way, I'm incredibly happy with the results! I had my surgery with Prime Dr. Bastatic at a private clinic in Washington, D.C. 🙏

You can start wearing glasses after a month... take care

Can someone please help me out? If you know any good methods or specific products to help prevent or treat bruising and swelling, let me know.
All I know about is using New York, but I've got surgery right around the corner.👋

I honestly think... you just don't love your body or how you look. In fact, you despise yourself enough to want to change so many things about your appearance.
Is there anything more tragic than that?

Good grief, you are such a pathetic soul...😂😂 I can't for the life of me imagine hating my own body or my looks, especially when I feel great about myself. 🤣It’s pretty obvious you only brought up this topic because you clearly have nothing better to do with your life... seriously, go find some manual labor or something; you're clearly not cut out for anything else.😂

It’s day 11 since my surgery and I’m still bruised as hell. I’ve been slathering on New York nonstop, but honestly, I have no clue if any of this is actually doing anything. 😁
I don't know about other products. My doctor told me all those creams are total garbage. Said I shouldn't be slathering anything on it and that it'll just clear up on its own. 😁

Hey everyone!
It’s been three weeks since my surgery. I only went in for the cosmetic stuff, and while everything went smoothly on the medical side, I have to be honest—I’m not exactly thrilled with how things look right now. I know, I know, it’s still early days and everything needs time to swell down and settle into its final shape, but there’s this tiny bump that’s still clearly visible right where it used to be (you can see it from the profile, and even when looking straight on or at a slight angle). I really hope I’m just being a total perfectionist here, trying to straighten out my nose only to end up with something even more lumpy... The doctor keeps telling me it’s too soon to judge the final result, but deep down, I’ve got this nagging feeling that this is just how it’s going to stay. On top of that, the tip feels narrower, and I can feel this little lump on one side right at the peak. I’ve spent hours scouring every forum and thread out there, and honestly, nobody seems to mention having a bumpy nose after the cast comes off. I feel so discouraged about it all, like maybe the whole thing was a waste of time! Has anyone else dealt with this, or did you all actually get those perfectly smooth, FLAT noses the second your cast was removed?!

Hey there 😉

I need some intel here:

Has anyone actually been treated by Jan, Bill (at the Mayo Clinic), or Baker (over at Mount Sinai)?

I’m looking into getting secondary rhinoplasty done and I really want to know if anyone has firsthand experience with any of these three. Honestly, I'm pretty terrified about going under the knife again—my last surgeon was a total :asshole: and completely trashed my nose... now I can barely even breathe through my nostrils 🙂

Hi everyone, I really need some information. It’s been eight days since my surgery, and I am honestly spiraling. My nose looks even bigger than it did before—it's just so swollen and "thick." For those of you who have been through this, can you please tell me how long it takes for the swelling to go down enough that I can actually step outside without feeling embarrassed? Right now, I look way worse than I did before the procedure. The area where the hump used to be was absolutely massive, especially looking at it from the front. I can't tell if they actually reduced it even a tiny bit or if it just looks like that because of the intense swelling? I'm terrified to leave the house. 😢 I AM DESPERATE! TOTALLY DESPERATE! WHAT IS THE ACTUAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ONE WEEK POST-OP AND TWO OR THREE WEEKS AFTER THE PROCEDURE??? THAT IS THE MAIN THING I NEED TO KNOW... THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE 😢((((

So, I’m actually gearing up for surgery this summer—a deviated septum repair—and honestly, I’ve been dealing with this intense, terrifying pressure in my chest whenever I catch a cold. Like, the moment my nose gets even slightly congested, I get this overwhelming sensation that I’m actually going to suffocate. It’s quite unsettling, really. Because of that, I am counting down the days until the procedure. Has anyone else here dealt with something similar? I'm desperately hoping that once this is over, that feeling of being unable to breathe will finally vanish.🙄

Back again just to give a shoutout to Dr. Ostojic. The man is a freaking legend. My nose looks absolutely incredible. If you're out there stressing over which surgeon to trust with your face, just go see Dr. O. He’s on another level. I know this sounds like a blatant ad, but I don't care—I had to say it.😍
