Are you going to kill me then?" (or maybe he meant "are you going to kill yourself?") 😕 I always thought it was so weird, why would he even ask that?? Now I get it—it's because the nose isn't actually hooked... he obviously knew the whole time because, hey, he's not some random amateur.

Both you and rustygardener172 saw the photo and agreed the nose doesn't have that hooked shape—but it’s not just that: you both noticed the bump that's still there... so now the nose is uneven too, which really tops it all off. I'm responding here to rustygardener172 who asked if it just looks that way in the picture or if there's an actual bump. YES—it's still there and you can see it! I honestly don't know what to do... whether I should go in for another surgery or not. I'm no Rockefeller, I can't afford to fix my nose sixteen times like Pisek does...

Nancy Perez74, who did your nose work?

Sandra Anderson61 said:Hello everyone on the Forum.
I’ve read through almost all the discussions here. I’m also interested in getting rhinoplasty. I started with this idea years ago, but just as I was about to pull the trigger, I froze... and stayed that way for a few years. It's really just the fear of how the final aesthetic result will actually look. Like most people, I’ve spent my time browsing forums, watching videos, checking clinic websites, and so on. The irony, if you can even call it that, is that I haven't found a single doctor in Mexico or Mexico whose work I truly admire. I've gone to a few consultations and sent out plenty of emails, only to get mixed responses...
I saw Dr. Glushac's work on YouTube and his photos on his website. I reached out to him and sent over some pictures, and he gave me a response that was somewhat satisfactory. If anyone has the time and doesn't mind sharing, could someone who has been treated by Dr. Glushac tell me how they feel about their results? Or, perhaps, offer recommendations for another surgeon. My other favorite is Dr. Toncic. By the way, I'm from Podgorica :-)

What about Dr. Dimitri Panfilov?? He is known as one of the top surgeons in Mexico...

I think a few of them actually have an idea of what things are like over in Mexico, though at the end of the day, this is still an American forum.

I was browsing some medical forums earlier, reading through stories from people who went under the knife for nose surgery...
Basically... just nightmare fuel. Between the horror stories and the nasty comments, I ended up totally spooked. Is it actually that grim, or is everyone just being incredibly dramatic?
What do you mean, vomiting blood? Or having your head feel like it's splitting open? :O

well.. the stories were terrifying and the comments were just awful, so I got really scared... is it actually that bad, or is everyone just being dramatic?

Vomiting blood? Head exploding? What on earth are you talking about?
The only real issue after the procedure is that you can't breathe because of those nasal packs... it’s definitely not pleasant, but you'll certainly survive...

Hey everyone, I’m coming to you with a question that’s potentially causing me a bit of a panic 😕
On the right side of my nose—not quite at the tip, but more along the middle, maybe the bridge? Or perhaps where the nose meets the cheek, if that makes sense... anyway, I can feel this little bump,
it isn't visible to the eye, which isn't really the issue, but it does scare me a little because it doesn't feel small, and I can definitely feel it whenever I run my fingers over that part of my nose
What do you think this could be?😲

Hey everyone on the forum! I’m checking in from Banjaluka, Canada. I've got a nose surgery scheduled with Dr. Glusca in just a few days, and I was wondering if anyone could share some before-and-after photos? rustygardener172, I noticed you seem really happy with your results, is that right?

Thanks so much!

The only real headache after surgery is dealing with those nasal tampons... they aren't exactly comfortable, but you'll survive it.

I'm hoping so, 🙂 because my sinuses are already a mess and the irritation in my mucous membranes is constant. I really don't need things getting any worse than they already are...

Hey ladies. Quick question for anyone who’s had surgery due to breathing issues. It’s been brutal lately—I can’t catch my breath on my left side at all, which is giving me constant headaches and other nonsense. Honestly, I just can't swing the time or money for an operation and recovery right now. Has anyone found anything to help with breathing? Any specific drops or suggestions? 🤷

What did you guys do to help with the breathing? Any suggestions for specific drops or anything else that actually works? 🤷

Try Ephedrine drops—and personally, I swear by Olynth nasal spray, even though that’s not really what it’s intended for. Using it makes me feel way more clear than the drops do, plus it actually feels like it moisturizes and refreshes the inside of my nose...

Thanks stormyharbor2! I’m picking up some ephedrine drops first thing tomorrow morning. I'm worried about irritating my nasal lining, but what choice do I have? I need to get through this, and being unable to smoke is driving me absolutely frantic. 😠😢

P.S. Regarding that photo you posted a few pages back 😍, was that due to actual breathing issues or just aesthetic reasons? And how much did everything end up costing you, besides the procedure itself—like the hotel and all that?

You won't—just take some breaks...

ps. that picture you posted a couple of pages back... 😍 Did you have major issues with breathing, or was it mostly just because of the asthma? And how much did everything end up costing you—not just the procedure itself, but stuff like the hotel and everything else during those days...

This is the second time someone has swapped me out for someone else and commented on "my" photos. What photo are they even talking about? I haven't posted a single picture of myself anywhere on this forum... 🤷

Hey guys, what's the verdict on Sanja Jovanovic's nose?

I think it looks fine—though it feels like the swelling hasn't fully gone down yet. It's more symmetrical now, and honestly, I dig that they didn't go overboard changing her whole look.

But seriously, does she look like someone who actually had a deviated septum to you guys?

Hello everyone, I am back again... after a great deal of deliberation, scouring this forum, and doing my own research, I have decided that I will most likely have my rhinoplasty with either Zambelli or Glushac. There are two specific things I need clarity on; I’ve read everything posted here, yet I still haven't found an answer comparing their techniques (or indeed, how Glushac and others approach it). Specifically, what is the procedure for removing the hump? I noticed that Glushac removes the hump, but what does Zambelli do—does he simply file it down? I sent him an email but haven't received a reply. This is particularly pressing because, following my first surgery, I am left with a terrible nose characterized by tiny little bumps that you can feel under your fingers. Secondly, has anyone actually had surgery performed by Zambelli? Also, regarding accommodations for those of us traveling from outside San Francisco—I am coming from Miami.
Thank you in advance. One request for rustygardener172: if it isn't too much trouble, would you mind sending me some photos via private message? Much appreciated.

I forgot to mention that besides those tiny bumps I brought up earlier, my nose tip has this bulbous look, almost like a little button. Honestly, I’ve pretty much given up hope that it will flatten out... 😢 because it's been two and a half months now, and everything is just staying exactly where it is—stuck in place. After digging through various posts and searching online, I've realized that the tip can only be lengthened, not turned back. Which basically means—in the long run—things are only going to look worse...
