Yeah, powder is hands down one of the greatest inventions ever 🤣

Have you been there lately?

I’m happy, honestly—it took me forever to finally get it to sink in, but I am beyond satisfied. Every now and then, I catch a glimpse of that famous gymnast in profile, but that’s probably just my mind playing tricks on me 😁

Carol Lopez28 said:Hey, I don't know anything about his work, sorry, but maybe someone else here knows... You think it isn't straight? Like it's tilting slightly at the front? I really hope things improve for you, I'm crossing my fingers...😉 It's been 19 days since my surgery. It's still a bit swollen, but mostly flat, so I can't really tell you much...:/

It’s not a total disaster, but I see it... When I look from the side, where the bump used to be, it's flat, but further down toward the top, there's this little protrusion, like it's sagging slightly. He claims it's just swelling and tells me to massage it, but honestly? I'm skeptical...

Look, I was just there recently... and yeah, maybe that trampoline setup you’re talking about looks great. Personally, I’m quite fond of my little "miniature" version (haha), mostly because it's just cute. But honestly, everything needs time to settle down. Everyone's body reacts differently to these things, after all... wearynomad88, maybe you really just need to wait for everything to fall back into place. It might just be how your system responds. All I can say is I hope everything works out exactly the way you wanted it to 🙂

Hey ladies, quick question. Has anyone noticed their cheekbones looking more prominent right after surgery? I might be overthinking this, but if the surgeon shortens and lifts the nose even slightly, doesn't that inevitably make the cheekbones pop more than they did before? Doesn't it?

Some shots just look a little off, but honestly, I don't even sweat it because my profile looks incredible 😁

You’re probably going to be dealing with it for a bit until everything settles down properly; things take time to deflate, and if you went for more than just basic fillers, I’d say it could easily take a year or two before it fully stabilizes

wearynomad88It's totally possible you just developed a hematoma, and if that's the case, you really don't have anything to worry about 😉

Jesse Taylor7If the nose is shrinking, you're definitely going to need to get those glasses adjusted too 🙂

I used to go with larger implants, wider ones... but now I've opted for a narrower shape and a slight lift. Honestly, it looks perfect to me now, at least from my perspective🙂

🤣 Look, we all walk around thinking we’ve got the perfect profile, right? But then you have kids who inherit a massive nose and they’re gonna be looking up at us like, "Mom, why didn't I get that cute little button nose you have?" 😂 Honestly, mine wasn't even that huge to begin with 😁

She’ll probably deal with it for a while until things settle down. It takes time for everything to deflate—honestly, if there was more than just filler involved, I'd say even a year or two.

wearynomad88 Could just be a hematoma. If that's the case, don't sweat it. 😉

Jesse Taylor7 If they're shrinking the nose, they gotta fix the bridge too. 🙂

I really hope so... It's not a disaster, the nose actually looks better than before, but I was expecting way more.🤷

Emily Campbell36 said:What’s Dr. Kincl actually like?

Look, I had my surgery done by Dr. Kincl and honestly? He’s fine.🙂 I mean, he can be a bit of an asshole, let's be real, but if you can just deal with his personality, you'll be totally okay... if you're the type who needs a lot of hand-holding or gets offended easily, you might not vibe with him... that's just his whole vibe and how he treats patients... but as a surgeon? The guy is top-tier. Super professional and definitely knows his stuff.🙂 He did a ton of work on me—removed a hump, shaved the tip, lifted it a bit, and fixed my septum too. And get this, I have zero willpower when it comes to junk food, but I barely even had any swelling (everyone was freaking out about that). Plus, the pain wasn't even that bad... which also shocked everyone, especially my mom, who had a deviated septum repair and was basically dying from the pain. Also, he lifted my nose just a tiny bit more than we originally planned, but it's only because he warned me the tip would drop... at first, I thought he was just making excuses, but now I see the tip really does sink, and a friend of mine actually confirmed it (she's actually miserable with her results because she *didn't* go to Kincl).... so yeah, Kincl...👍

So, how long is the typical wait time for the surgery itself? And what’s the deal with the anesthesia—is it pretty intense? I suppose my main concern is just ensuring the surgeon is actually competent... you know, someone who truly knows their stuff and won't drop the ball. Even if it isn't some massive, life-altering procedure, I still feel like... well, precision matters, right?

Brenda Reed3, you actually had me laughing with that comment. You've got a point there... haha... Listen, dear wearynomad88, maybe your nose wasn't even that bad before the surgery, so perhaps that's why you feel like it could have turned out better. I honestly don't know. Or maybe everyone feels that way at first, and then things settle down and look fine eventually. Personally, I suspect what you're seeing is likely just some bruising that will clear up on its own... yeah, definitely. 🙂

I had a very similar experience myself. I didn't feel any pain at all; the only thing was that breathing through my mouth felt a little awkward for a bit, but that passed... I ended up having quite a few procedures done—correcting my posture, the tip of my nose, the bridge, narrowing, and the septum. It was all done under general anesthesia, so I didn't feel a single thing. All I know is they told me at the end it took them about 20 minutes just to wake me up... heh, heh...

I can't believe 🙏 they couldn't even get you to wake up... my sister was already halfway through listing everything that went wrong, telling me I basically robbed her of a few years of her life because of all the stress she had to deal with 😍😁 I really hope my fate doesn't start rubbing off on you after your first surgery 😁 just hit me up in six months and I'll let you know if there's anything you actually need to worry about

Based on how you described it, it sounds like we were dealing with pretty similar noses 🙂

It's pretty rare for anyone to be happy immediately after the procedure; everything is swollen and you look at least two sizes bigger than you actually are, though that eventually settles down. Of course, it all comes down to what you worked out with your surgeon and what's actually doable, since you can't just turn every nose into a tiny button nose 🙂

What can I say? Heh. I guess it looks like neither of us felt like waking up today... maybe we were just having too many good dreams 🙂. It’s a relief there was some swelling, because even then, you could tell it was going to turn out great once everything settled down... Thursday marks exactly three weeks since the surgery, and honestly, I am just super happy with how everything is going. And I totally agree—people ask surgeons for absolute miracles all the time. What did you mean by saying I don't scare you though...? Hmmm 😢?

I totally forgot to mention that I’ve been running on empty from work lately, so I think the anesthesia just hit me way harder than usual—at least, that’s how I’m reading it

If you're already feeling more than satisfied after just three weeks, things could only go up from here; I had to wait a much longer time before everything finally settled down

If everything feels right now, it’s probably going to stay that way 😁 I noticed a little hiccup right at the start, so I actually had to go back in for some touch-ups 🙂

So, how did that whole situation end up getting resolved? I guess things like that happen sometimes... hopefully everything is back on track now?🙂 =)

It’s looking alright now; he didn't totally wreck my face, just left a little bit of 😁. To be honest, I can't even wrap my head around how it turned out this way, because even someone with zero vision could see the difference, but at least now I can actually make jokes about it instead of feeling like everything was completely falling apart 😁

Well, it happened, and now it's over. What matters is that things are finally being set right and the mistake is being corrected... I have to say, I have a massive amount of respect for those surgeons. You have to know exactly how to handle all of that, and then you have to practice it on actual people...
