Yeah, I see what you mean... unfortunately β
but honestly, the saddest part is that you Industrial fans have probably never even heard real Industrial music before... God help us!!

Then enlighten us, since we're all staring at you with nothing but hope that you'll finally clear the fog we're stuck in by introducing some actual Industrial...

Honestly, I have zero interest in listening to that outdated crowdβjust a bunch of aging, washed-up relics and their tired subcultures lol. Itβs only ever interesting to the perpetual Tinder demographic.
For example, Lady Gaga - Just Dance ^^

So, what exactly counts as "real" Industrial?

Is this some kind of joke? I mean, maybe?π€£

Man, there are just way too many labels for no reason. Terror, harsh EBMβitβs all the same crapβand don't even get me started on hellelectro. It's all the same thing.
It all basically evolved from dark electro and industrial music, but honestly, who cares? There are so many subgenres now that trying to categorize everything is just exhausting.π
Personally, I've been spinning Suicide Commando for about four years now, and they're pretty well-known around here these daysπ along with Hocico.
If you're looking for some Alien Vampire brutalityβyou know, if you're really in the mood for some aggressive, Satanic-vibed chaosβthen check them out. xD
xD Amduscia is a textbook example of harsh EBM, or whatever you want to call it; it's modern stuff that leans heavily into a techno sound.
"Industrial" is such a massive umbrella term, spanning from the 70s all the way to today. There's actually a decent article about the whole history if you want to dive in.π

If anyone is into the weirder, noisier side of things, you've got Aphex Twin or Atari Teenage Riot (which is more digital hardcore), though that starts veering into hardcore techno territory and all those weird hybrids.
Without all that experimentation, we wouldn't have half the interesting genres we have today. So, there's really no point in stressing over what's "pure" and what isn'tβmusicians are always going to blend styles anyway.

Is it just me, or does this person have the absolute nastiest goth trash aesthetic in their signature? π²
Something felt off, so I did a quick Google search to confirm my suspicions. β

Elizabeth Turner3, you showed up just to tear down every single artist and genre presented here, so why don't you actually offer a recommendation so we can see what you consider superior to this music...
If youβre going to dismiss everything, you ought to provide some actual substance to back up those opinions, otherwise, your arguments carry no weight at all...
