Period talk: Questions and advice

Alright ladies, women... listen up.
Here is a full summary of my entire situation:
On March 25th, I had a D&C... everything went smoothly enough. My first period arrived two months later on May 21st, following some progesterone therapy for an ovarian cyst that turned out to be a corpus luteum. Based on my gynecologist's recommendation, I started taking Celeste pills just to "calm things down and regulate the cycle." My period showed up on June 13th, but once I hit the second pack of Celesta, the problems started. Due to the side effects, and after discussing it with my doctor, I decided to stop taking the pills on the sixth day of that second pack. Then, on July 9th, while I was away at the beach, my period arrived—it felt as though I had swallowed the entire second pack all at once! But then, upon returning home, my period started again on July 29th. It wouldn't even be that concerning if I hadn't woken up today, August 9th, with this heavy brown discharge that feels like the start of another period... please, I need help... any answers, advice, or even just a comment would mean the world. (And just for the record, I am planning to see my gynecologist, because I have zero interest in dealing with anyone's rude or dismissive remarks.)

The growth is starting to lose its momentum, but it isn't hitting a wall just yet...

My doctor mentioned that, on average, you might still grow about two inches after your first period arrives.
This can be a real issue for girls going through early puberty, as it often ends up stalling their growth spurt.

They put me on antibiotics and ordered blood and urine tests so we can figure out what's actually going on. I have a follow-up with my gynecologist scheduled for late August or early September. For me, the bleeding has actually been tapering off, 🤷, meaning nothing happened from the end of my period until yesterday (day 19 of my cycle), but I almost always see spotting after sex (like, three times yes, one time no, then back to yes again😁)... and I've already read a few things online suggesting E. coli could be the culprit. Now I'm just crossing my fingers that these antibiotics do the trick.

My period finally arrived after a two-month delay; it has always been irregular.
I rarely experience clots, usually just small round ones, but I was shocked on the second day. I have never seen a tube-shaped clot before—about 5cm long and 0.5mm thick. It was quite frightening. I just returned from vacation at the beach; should I make an appointment with my OB-GYN? What could this be? I used cloth pads last cycle, but not this one.

I’ve been on Logest for about a year and a half now. I'm super consistent with them—never miss a dose—and up until lately, my period usually lasted about four or five days. It’s never been heavy or anything, just standard. But for the last two months, it’s only lasted one single day. 😕
At first, I didn't think much of it because my stomach was cramping pretty badly, so I figured it was just a heavy period coming on. But now that it’s happened twice, I'm starting to panic. The first day feels totally normal—my cramps are actually worse than usual—but then by the second day, the bleeding is just gone. 😲 😕
I want to see my gynecologist, but she’s out on vacation right now. If anyone has any advice or has dealt with something similar, I'd really appreciate it.🙂

She’s also been dealing with intense abdominal pain over the last couple of days—to the point where she can barely walk. On top of that, she has a headache, stomach pains, and nausea; she feels like she needs to throw up but nothing happens. I'm not sure if she has a fever. Her family has all had clear tests, so I don't think it's an infection. She’s being stubborn about seeing a doctor or gynecologist, so I'm hoping someone here can offer some "online" advice. EDIT: Last month her period came two weeks early, and she’s been under massive stress lately with work... thanks.

Steven Baker12—tell the girl she is being foolish, because she absolutely must prioritize her own health and get herself to a gynecologist immediately, as one simply does not trifle with symptoms like these. It is painfully obvious that something is wrong, and she needs professional intervention. We cannot assist you in any meaningful way through an internet forum other than by insisting that she seeks urgent medical attention from a specialist! 😲

... so I've got a bit of a situation going on...

About a month ago, I was down at the beach on vacation. My period was supposed to show up while I was still there, but it didn't happen until I actually got back home. And when it finally did come, it was super short—only lasted about five days.

Anyway, towards the end of my cycle, I had some unprotected sex...

I honestly thought everything was totally fine... but then my actual period just never showed up.
(It’s been about 20 days now and I've just had this weird spotting instead...)

I figured it was just the change in weather, being stressed out, and all that typical life chaos.

Then a friend talked me into finally taking a pregnancy test...

And it came back positive... ://////

Is there any chance I'm actually not pregnant? ????

Honestly, your best bet is just to hit up a gynecologist so they can send you for some bloodwork. At this early stage, it’s really the only way to be 100% sure whether you're actually pregnant or not

Regardless of how the chips fall, you're facing a heavy reality, and whatever path you choose will ultimately be yours alone to own.

For now, just try to stay steady... if you are indeed pregnant, it isn't the end of the road, but you really need to sit down and have a serious, solitary conversation with yourself about what you truly want. In fact, I suspect deep down, you probably already have an inkling of what you would do if you found yourself caught in this exact predicament.🙂

if I am pregnant, my only option for contraception is an abortion, right?

And I heard that... a positive test doesn't always mean you're definitely pregnant.. that it could be some kind of hormonal imbalance or something like that.😢

Look, if what you fear actually occurred, there is a very high probability that you have contracted at least one STI, which, should you be pregnant, poses a severe threat to the fetus; you must get to an OB-GYN immediately to be tested.
An abortion is not a method of contraception or protection against STIs—it is a method for terminating an existing pregnancy. Do try to remember the distinction.

How old are you? Is there any way to identify those men? Have you considered reporting them? Do you truly grasp that what happened to you, if it did indeed happen, is rape?

Get away from those "friends."

Tests rarely fail. Go to a doctor and tell them everything that transpired.

I don't know... maybe it didn't even happen... I can't really remember... and my friends aren't being helpful at all. I have an appointment with my gynecologist tomorrow, but I have no idea how to act or what to say... I'm just scared of everything... and yeah, obviously I'm going to tell her everything...

I'm 17 😢 😢 ... I'm just praying to God that I'm not pregnant and that it's not some nasty disease... maybe it's just some hormonal thing from the weather changing, daily stress, or just me freaking out because things are rough at home right now...

And if I were pregnant, wouldn't I at least notice? Like, surely I'd feel some symptoms by now...

Do I start counting from the day it was originally supposed to show up... or from the start of my last cycle???
