Does anyone know where I can pick up Provera without a prescription? I'm heading to the coast soon and there's zero chance my gynecologist can squeeze me in for an appointment before then :/
thanks 🙂

thanks 🙂

I am also considering birth control pills...
I wonder if they require a prescription exclusively, or if they can be purchased over the counter?
Please, if anyone knows, let me know. It is urgent. 😢

My period started today, just a few drops and then suddenly black spot! That was it. It just completely stopped.😕

Could this be because my body is totally wiped out? Because I'm dealing with vomiting, diarrhea, and a fever.

Could this be caused by physical exhaustion? I've been dealing with vomiting, diarrhea, and a high fever.

It is certainly possible. My own cycle arrived only to vanish immediately because I was under intense stress, sleep-deprived, and generally run down... so, quite likely, we are looking at some sort of hormonal imbalance.

Up until about two months ago, my cycle was actually pretty predictable. Then, out of nowhere, I started getting these tiny bits of spotting, followed by nothing the next day, then some brown discharge, and then total silence again. It’s only after a few days of that mess that I finally get a heavy flow, so that’s when I actually count it as day one of my period

Hey everyone!

I'm 17 years old and I started my period about six years ago.
But honestly, my cycle still hasn't found any kind of rhythm. Sometimes it shows up right on the 28-day mark, other times it's more like 35 days, and there have even been times when I went three whole months without seeing it at all!

Over the last 7 or 8 months, things have taken a turn for the worse. When my period actually does arrive, the cramps are absolutely brutal. It usually lasts a week, and I’ll deal with intense abdominal pain for at least five of those days—it's just overwhelming. And don't even get me started on the PMS. My nerves are shot; I feel incredibly irritable and touchy, and I've literally been having tiny emotional breakdowns.😢 😢

In the last 8 months, I've only had my period three times. In between those cycles, I'm dealing with this brown spotting and constant pain (it feels like it's coming from my ovaries). I feel terrible, and it's just making life so difficult.
I'm planning to head to my gynecologist in the next few days to finally get some answers.

So, I was wondering, have any of you dealt with something similar? How did you manage to get everything back under control?

Look, the absolute best advice I can give you is just go see an OB-GYN.
An ultrasound will clear everything up and show you exactly what's going on.
Missing your period for a few months in a row? That’s definitely not normal.
There are a million different reasons why it could be happening.
You probably haven't even made an appointment yet, right? Don't freak out—it's really not as scary as everyone makes it out to be...

You should definitely see an OB-GYN and get some blood work done—specifically hormone testing. An ultrasound is fine, too, though I suppose those don't always catch everything if there's a subtle hormonal imbalance at play. Getting those levels checked will give you a much clearer picture of what might be going on under the hood. 😉

Yeah, I’m actually heading there next week, so I’ll find out then.
Honestly, I’ve been getting pretty worried lately—I was feeling those same sharp pains in my ovaries again today. 😢

Since I haven't been sexually active yet, they can only perform an ultrasound, right?

I dealt with similar issues back when I was 16 or 17. I visited my doctor, but since I hadn't been with a boyfriend either, they wouldn't do a physical exam. They just prescribed pills, mostly Dabron. Eventually, everything stabilized... and now my cycle is perfectly regular. 😉
They will probably just do an ultrasound and give you some medication. At least, that is what happened for me.

Anyone ever dealt with this before?🙄
My period showed up two weeks early😕, right after having some really intense sex.🤣🤣(And yeah, we’re talking an intense 45-minute session🙈). So, I'm wondering—could that actually be what triggered it?🤷

Usually, my cycle is totally fine. At least, it has been since I was 13.

I might have missed this question already—I can't seem to find it—but I really need some advice. So, I’m planning a trip to the coast at the end of August, and I just realized my period is scheduled to hit right when I'm supposed to be there. I'm currently on Logitech, and I was wondering if I could start my next pack a few days late to shift my cycle? I can't extend my current pack because I'm on my break and expect my period to start tomorrow. Would it be an issue if I delayed starting the next round by a couple of days?
(And I can't push back my vacation plans at all)

Hey there, ladies!
This might sound like a totally silly question, but I am honestly in such a massive bind right now. I’m planning a trip to the beach very soon, and trying to coordinate everything is becoming a total nightmare because I have to be back by a specific date and all that other stuff. So, I wanted to ask: does anyone know if there’s actually a trick to making my period wrap up faster? Basically, the sooner I'm done with this, the sooner I can head out on vacation and enjoy myself for longer... 🤣

Here’s the situation: I have a trip to the coast planned for late August, and I just realized my period is scheduled to hit exactly when I arrive. Since I’m currently on Logitech, I was wondering if it’s feasible to delay the start of my next pack to shift my cycle. I can't simply extend my current cycle because I'm already due for the break, and I expect my period to start tomorrow. Would it cause any significant issues if I waited a few days before starting the next pack?
I'm afraid my departure isn't something I can put off any longer.

I am certain that somewhere inside that Logitech box, there’s a manual explicitly detailing exactly what happens to your system if you fail to take those first few pills in the pack.

So, I was wondering if anyone knows of any tricks to make a period wrap up a little faster? Because... When will I finally be done cleaning? I’ll be heading out on vacation shortly, and I plan to be away from my desk for quite a while. 🤣

Sanitary products.

For maintaining hygiene, I’d suggest sticking to warm water and a dedicated intimate liquid cleanser. If you find yourself out hiking in the backcountry without access to running water, high-quality intimate wipes are your best bet.

I’m dealing with a bit of a messy situation regarding my cycle, and I was wondering if anyone knows if it's actually okay to delay my period two months in a row?

Basically, last month I was heading out on vacation right when my period was supposed to start. My gynecologist prescribed me some Logitech to help manage it—I took it for about ten days total (five days before I left and five while I was away)—so everything lined up perfectly for when I got back home.

Well, here's the thing... I have another trip coming up, and my period is scheduled to hit right at the same time again. 😠 Can I start taking the Logitech for a few days before I go and then stop after about ten days, just like last time?

It would honestly be a lifesaver because I have a surgery scheduled for September 13th, and I really need to make sure I don't have my period during that window. If I can push this current month back to around August 20th, then by next month, my cycle should land somewhere around September 17th, which works out perfectly.

Does anyone have any insight on this?

I mean, I'll definitely call my doctor, but her office is closed until Thursday and I'm feeling a little anxious waiting until then. I might need to change my travel plans if delaying it twice in a row isn't recommended.

Ladies, I need some perspective on this... I’m currently on day four and five of my period. Every evening, I start feeling this intense pressure in my bladder area, which forces me to run to the restroom constantly, followed by a sudden, heavy surge in bleeding. This has happened two nights in a row now, and then suddenly, the flow just stops. It’s the first time I’ve experienced anything quite like this. I’m 40. While my cycles can be heavy sometimes, the first four days of this month were actually relatively light, so these two intense evenings caught me completely off guard and, frankly, left me feeling pretty shaken. During the daylight hours, the bleeding is minimal, but once night falls, it’s a total flood.

Hmm... my mom dealt with stuff like this when she was heading into menopause. And yeah, she was in her 40s too.
But as for why it's happening to you specifically... 🤷

Edward Murphy4 As I have previously noted:
My mother went through something very similar when she hit menopause. It happened right around her mid-forties, too.
It’s a shame, really. I'm curious though—what exactly is the reason in your case?🤷

I checked in with the hospital, and thankfully, I had a decent doctor who walked me through everything. He explained that this is most likely just a reaction to stress and the shifting weather patterns. Apparently, he’s been seeing quite a few women lately dealing with similar issues triggered by the change in seasons. He was very clear that this isn't related to menopause.
