Ugh, these sponsored links are the worst

Everything seems perfectly fine until those obnoxious full-screen ads start popping up, the kind that practically 'scurry' away the moment you try to close them.😱

It’s an outright provocation, really! little punks😠😁

Besides, I have a feeling that if this gets the green light, we'll be seeing those exact same tactics hitting us very soon.☕
I suppose they're just running a little experiment on us, aren't they?😈

It’s honestly the worst when you’re just scrolling along and something suddenly jumps out at you, especially when it’s in that one color I absolutely can't stand... orange

I realized what sets me apart from most of you; perhaps that’s why I don't see ads (I use basic Internet Explorer without any fancy blockers)

My Display thread settings are configured so the latest post always appears on the first page (specifically, Linear - Newest first). This creates an issue with Google because it constantly drops me on the wrong page 😁. It sounds ridiculous, but it might be worth a shot 😁

Honestly, when I first opened up the forum this morning and saw this ad staring me in the face, it actually gave me a bit of a jump. Then I just sat there thinking about how incredibly aggressive it is. Long story short, I’m not a fan.

It's honestly such a blast; I really enjoy spending time playing 😕

Adblock Plus is a lifesaver 🙏. Without it, I’d have had a seizure from all the flashing ads a long time ago.

By definition, an ad is supposed to be annoying.

Personally, ads don't bother me. They’re just another way to pick up bits of info about the world, or even learn a thing or two about myself.

I’ve noticed most people on this forum can't stand those stupid sponsored links. I’m honestly appealing to the site admins to just get rid of them... because they're such a nuisance, and they really get under my skin. I don't even get why they were added in the first place...😕😕😠😠

I mean, sure, if it was an ad for something actually useful, maybe, but it's just these dumb little games. And then I see some of those "adult" games too, which feels totally out of place here... it just doesn't make any sense.
