So, I went ahead and made some arrangements, and there's a little something up for grabs if you're interested, so if anyone wants in, just head over to the marketing link because they're still looking for about twenty more volunteers... but honestly, you better move fast before it's gone

Andrew Taylor13 said:I’ve noticed most people on this forum can't stand those stupid sponsored links. I’m honestly appealing to the site admins to just get rid of them... because they're such a nuisance, and they really get under my skin. I don't even get why they were added in the first place...😕😕😠😠

I mean, sure, if it was an ad for something actually useful, maybe, but it's just these dumb little games. And then I see some of those "adult" games too, which feels totally out of place here... it just doesn't make any sense.

Just take them down.😠😠

And you all claim that online ads are what get under your skin? Please. Tell me—exactly when did this downward spiral begin?

I honestly can't wrap my head around why they even bothered putting them there in the first place.

Wild guess: it’s about the money, obviously. 😕

If only it were an ad for something actuallyuseful

That is quite clearly the absolute conditio sine qua non when deciding who gets advertised and who doesn't.

Honestly, you should be ashamed of yourself. You're totally faking it. I've been sitting here trying for a solid half an hour now, and not a single game will launch when I click on it. I suspect there's some kind of age verification check tucked away somewhere that's blocking me since I'm not 18+.😢

So, how do I get this hot boss to strip all the way down? I managed to pull her out of the office for a minute and things were going great, but then she bolted back inside and now she’s just standing there in her underwear.

Trust me, once you strip down yourself, she'll come crawling right out. ☕

Look, you aren't supposed to drag her out of the room, you've gotta do the whole thing right there in the office.

I mean, sure, it’s ugly, it’s totally unnecessary, and it’s just... bad design—but what specific problems is it actually causing?

I don't see how it slows down page loading, nor is it one of those annoying pop-ups that jumps in front of the text to block your reading, or some floating element that drifts across the screen while you're scrolling... It’s really not a big deal.

Honestly, that "Atlas" (?) anti-clockwise ad is way more irritating.

I kind of like her.

Look at the hints in the bottom left. They give you a rough idea of what you're supposed to build.

As long as we're talking about video games, it's fine—at least it isn't hemorrhoid cream.😬

Honestly, ads in newspapers and on PBS irritate me just as much. The only real difference is that in those cases, I’m actually paying for the privilege of being interrupted by commercials, whereas here everything is free, so I should probably be more patient with the ads.
Since I can use a great resource like this forum to read and write for $0.00 anyway—and I get that forums need some way to stay afloat (if it isn't through subscriptions, it's going to be through advertising)—what am I really complaining about? Especially since I’ve got Adblock Plus running on Firefox.

I think the ads are actually pretty sick, especially that love barometer thing...🙂

Adblock for Chrome 2.2.5

Just install it and your problems should pretty much vanish.

Until I actually see what people are talking about, I just assume it's some kind of nightmare. Reading through this, I was expecting gore, skulls, guts, and having to grab a trash can to throw up. Instead, it’s just a few harmless games being pushed in an ad I happened to notice. Honestly, I didn't give it a second thought because getting rid of it is as simple as moving my mouse half an inch toward me and clicking out.

You people are seriously pathetic whiners. 🤷

That signature is ridiculous ☕

I thought it was something else entirely. I come to this forum specifically to waste my working hours 😬—actually, better yet, I'm about to go play some games during work 😁 instead of dealing with ads.

There you go. That's 45 points right there. 😂

Nisan might try to come after me with this post, but I usually stick to the NFL subreddits where people actually have some stamina, so this kind of nonsense is tolerated there. No apologies from me.

So, you're all just spoiled brats. Is that accurate enough for you? 🙂
