Hey guys, I really need some help here. I’m looking to move my medical records over from Precko—I’ve been seeing Husman Miletic, and honestly, enough is enough after everything she put me through. Plus, it’s about time I move my kid from their pediatrician over to a general practice too. Does anyone have any recommendations for NYC? Specifically the West Side if you happen to know anyone good.
Thanks!

Has anyone actually dealt with Dr. Vladimir Šalamon in NYC? He runs a private practice.

Laura Myers84 said:Looking for a recommendation similar to Dotty (my GP)—ideally someone who actually knows how to diagnose things correctly.

My old doctor retired, and this new one they brought in just prescribed antibiotics for a cough without even sending me for blood work first to see if I even needed them... total amateur move.

P.s. Dotty, which part of town are you in?

Just seeing this now. I'm over by Broadway. Honestly, looking at these recommendations, nothing seems helpful :/ I even asked people in person, but nobody can seem to name a single decent doctor...

Does anyone happen to know a reliable ophthalmologist in New York City? I’m open to private practice options as well. Thanks! 😁

I’m looking for a solid endocrinologist. Ideally, I'd prefer someone near Miami, but honestly, if there's a standout specialist in New York City, I wouldn't mind making the trip. I just need someone who actually knows what they're doing and can help.

Also, I know options are pretty slim here, but has anyone actually sat down with a functional medicine doctor? Specifically Dark Marđetko in San Diego or Fedor Mataić in Miami? I've been hearing nothing but good things about both of them, but I'm stuck on which one to choose. The waiting lists are brutal—we're talking several months of waiting. Any insight would be massively appreciated! 🙂

Best, 🙂

My gynecologist is referring me to a gynecological endocrinologist—though the referral just says "gynecology" because apparently, they can't write it any other way. Does anyone have a solid recommendation on where I should go? Maybe someone specific at Mayo Clinic? Or should I just look for a private practice?
I actually started seeing a private endocrinologist recently who has been wonderful, but his primary focus is diabetes and thyroid issues. He suspects I might have PCOS, so he’s sending me to a gynecologist, who is now sending me to see a *gynecological* endocrinologist at the hospital (which he only suggested after I’ve already spent a small fortune on this endocrinologist 🙄). Currently, I'm dealing with insulin resistance, slightly elevated androgens, stress-related cortisol, and most recently, low estrogen and progesterone levels. I had fully expected my gynecologist to just prescribe some birth control so I could stay with my current specialist, but—surprise, surprise—that wasn't the case.

Thanks!

My mother is seeing Professor Vukojević in New York City for her Rib, and she is quite satisfied with him.

Hey, does anyone know a solid physiatrist or physical therapist in NYC who can actually give me a straight diagnosis and a clear treatment plan? My lower back has been killing me lately—it’s constant, whether I'm standing, sitting, or lying down.

I’d really appreciate a recommendation, because there are so many private practices out there now that it's impossible to know where to go.
Also, I'm looking for something reasonably priced. I'm fine with paying up to $50 per hour for sessions.

Dr. Juratovac is great—he's currently at the Mayo Clinic, but he sees patients privately every Wednesday over at Monocle.

Hey everyone, does anyone know a good doctor in the States who actually specializes in hormone regulation? I’m asking because things have been feeling worse and worse lately, but most general practitioners just brush it off like it's a minor mosquito bite. If you have any recommendations, please shoot me a DM with their contact info or email.

Or, if you're curious about what I'm dealing with, I can send you a private message detailing my symptoms. Thanks!

So, I recently uprooted everything and moved to a different city, which means I need to find a new doctor and dentist. What’s the actual drill for switching things up? If I just show up at a Community Health Center, are they going to start grilling me about whether I have a local residence or a permanent address? I haven't even sorted out the paperwork side of living here yet.

I’m looking for some solid recommendations for a neuropsychiatrist or a neurologist—someone who actually knows their stuff, especially when it comes to dealing with dementia cases.

I noticed someone already mentioned Dr. Grbavac on this thread. Since I’m not in the US very often, I need somewhere reliable where I can take my father and feel confident we won't be stuck waiting six months just to end up with zero answers.

Hey everyone! 🙂>

Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a high-quality, professional, and actually responsible GP on the West Side of New York City?

Right now, I’ve got a doctor at my local Community Health Center who is stingy with referrals and extra testing, yet hands out heavy-duty meds like they're candy. To make matters worse, when I tell her my symptoms are absolutely brutal—we're talking dizziness, nausea, vomiting, heart palpitations, and insomnia—she basically just shrugs and asks, and I quote, "So what?"

In the meantime, I ended up going to the Tel Aviv clinic to see Dr. Vesna Goldoni because her online reviews seemed decent. Honestly? I am not happy at all. There is absolutely no way I'm going back for a follow-up. The woman spent the entire time staring at her computer screen typing up notes, barely listening to a word I said. She didn't offer any new insights either—just told me I need to redo all the tests I already have (which is roughly $333 worth of stuff) just so we can be "100% sure," apparently. 🤦 On top of that, she’s impossible to reach via email, which is a huge dealbreaker for me. When I tried, she just gave me this cold, dismissive response saying I should "just come back in, but there's no rush"... 🙄

On a much better note, I have to recommend the dermatologist, Dr. Sanja Gregurić. She is hands down the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. From her kindness to her expertise and sheer knowledge—every single aspect was perfect. The woman is an absolute powerhouse. 🙂

Can anyone give me a solid recommendation for a GP around the east side of Seattle or maybe the eastern suburbs?

Hey there!

Does anyone have a lead on a good private dermatologist in Washington, D.C.? I really need someone who can take a deep look at my scalp and run some microbiological tests. If you've dealt with this kind of thing before, please let me know what worked for you.

Greetings 😁 Does anyone happen to know a gynecologist in Miami who is still accepting new patients through Medicare? 🤷

I’m also on the hunt for a solid dentist—honestly, I don't care if it's a private practice or someone covered by Medicare, as long as they're good, here in Miami. Since I just moved in from Washington, D.C., I’m essentially starting my search for everything from scratch.😵
