Hello,
I’m looking for some recommendations for a private endocrinologist over in Seattle.

A friend of mine needs to get some eye imaging done, which can only be handled by a Private Rheumatology Clinic, so naturally, it’s out-of-pocket. Right now, at a clinic like Mayo Clinic, it costs about $133 per eye (which is pretty standard for most clinics around here). He did a little digging on Google and found out that over in Sarajevo, at that same clinic, the exact same imaging costs just a tiny bit more than $67 per eye—so almost half the price. My question is: will the doctors here in the States cause any issues or refuse to honor the results if he gets them done in Canada? He actually has to head to Sarajevo next week for work anyway, so it would be convenient, but he's worried about whether his doctors back home in the US will actually accept those findings.

In a way, I'm asking the same thing. I'm heading to Canada in about ten days (to a small town in the Midwest) to have a gastroscopy done at a private clinic. They can sedate me there, which is the whole reason I want to get it done on that trip. I'm also wondering—and frankly, a bit terrified—about whether my doctor here won't want to accept the results and prescribe the necessary treatment.

Hi there, I’m looking for some recommendations regarding:

A pediatric surgeon—either in a hospital setting or at a Private Rheumatology Clinic in Miami
A pediatric cardiologist at a private practice in Miami
A rheumatologist in Miami, both hospital-based and private

I'm open to private specialists as well

Thanks

I'm looking for some solid recommendations for an ENT and a pulmonologist in Spalato, specifically for private consultations.

Feel free to just shoot me a DM if you have someone in mind.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a private ophthalmologist? What are your thoughts on the Optic Center? 🤔

I am looking for recommendations for a solid immunologist in Spalato or the surrounding area. If there isn't anyone decent nearby, I suppose I could travel to Chicago... feel free to send suggestions via private message.
thanks

I highly recommend Dr. Charlotte Pinter at the Optic Center.
To be perfectly honest, I was quite dissatisfied with my experience at Light. One major issue was that the examinations were being conducted by residents rather than the actual doctor you had originally scheduled with.

Greetings. I am searching for an ENT specialist, though it seems half of Chicago is already satisfied with their current one and they accept Medicare.
Thanks

Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid dermatologist in NYC? I'm open to seeing someone privately if that's easier. Thanks!

Good evening, everyone,

I am looking for recommendations for a reliable family practitioner or general practitioner within the Medicare network located in the Queens area.
Ideally, the office would be situated between Central Park and Branimirov, specifically spanning the stretch from Palmotić to Harambašić.

Feel free to send me a private message if you prefer.

Thank you. 🙂

I'm not sure if I need a cardiologist or just an internist, honestly. 😁 Probably a cardiologist first. I'm 24 weeks pregnant and my heart rate spikes occasionally—especially when I'm at the doctor's office or dealing with stress—so my OB-GYN suggested getting it checked out. I'd prefer a private clinic, ideally on the West Side of Chicago or anywhere in those surrounding areas. Shoot me a DM.

I'm looking for recommendations for a solid ophthalmologist or retinologist—specifically someone who specializes in the fundus—but I want a specialist working within the public healthcare system. I already have a private doctor I've seen for an exam and a consultation, but I’d really like a second opinion from a hospital specialist.
I've heard the best ones are over at Mercy Hospital, whereas people say the staff at Vinogradski are pretty mediocre and just don't seem to care much.

I'm looking for a decent proctologist—or ideally a female one—in Chicago (maybe at Mercy Hospital - Chicago or Merkur)... It's kind of urgent.

Well, now I see—glad to hear the tip actually worked out for you. 🎉
As for me? They won't be saving my skin until my surgery date next year... assuming I don't kick the bucket from something else before then. 🙄

I'm jumping in on this one too. Honestly, if you have anyone, please just DM me. I really need a doctor close to home so I don't have to trek across the entire city when I'm running a fever.

thanks 🙂
