I'm looking for some solid recommendations for a dermatologist who's willing to prescribe dutasteride (like Avodart, for example) to help deal with hair loss. Honestly, I don't really mind if they're in private practice or working through Medicare; I just need someone who knows their stuff.

It would be super convenient if they were based in Chicago or somewhere nearby, but I'm more than happy to travel to any other major city in America if that's what it takes.

Look, I really hate dropping names like this without a doctor’s permission, but honestly, regarding Vinogradski, Dr. Carzavec (he's a hematologist) was great back in the day. My iron levels were absolutely trashed—I think they were down to like 2.5... One of the hematology specialists over at Vinogradski is Dr. Hrvojka Bosnjak—she seems pretty young. If you want to go private, check out Bates Clinic. Obviously, in NYC.

I've also heard through the grapevine that Dr. Gudelj is quite good, though I haven't personally sat in his office yet.

From what I've heard, the best doctors are over at Mercy Hospital - Chicago, whereas people say the ones at the local city clinic are pretty mediocre and don't really care.

To be honest, I've been dealing with incompetence, rudeness, and just a general lack of friendliness from the doctor I originally chose, so I'd like to move to someone else as soon as possible.
