coppergardener said:I'm looking for recommendations for a *really* exceptional ophthalmologist for a thorough clinical exam. It’s a complicated case involving high diopters that general practitioners often misdiagnose—heavy astigmatism, myopia, poor stereo vision, the onset of presbyopia, a history of significant childhood strabismus, and a family history of glaucoma. Thanks in advance!

Which city are we talking about?

Looking for recommendations for a pulmonologist and a hematologist in Miami. Diagnosis is D 72. Differential diagnosis involves ruling out lung issues and doing a bone marrow biopsy to check for possible leukemia. Thanks.

Does anyone happen to have a recommendation for a solid oncologist? Ideally, I’m looking for someone who specializes in digestive system organs. I'd be open to seeing someone in the Indianapolis, Chicago, or even the Belgrade/Novi Sad area, though I would also definitely consider traveling to Germany or Austria if the expertise is there.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a solid, highly skilled ENT specialist in San Diego who takes Medicare? I’m curious to know who the go-to doctor is around here, since I’ve already been to two different places and felt like
it was all just some rushed, superficial experience where you can barely squeeze in a question before they usher you out the door, which is frustrating because I still need to get some follow-up tests done regarding this pain.

Thanks 👍

Does anyone know where in Chicago I can get a CDFI blood vessel scan using a referral, specifically with a focus on the VB pelvis area?

Hey everyone!
I'm looking for some solid recommendations for a family doctor or general practitioner.
Specifically interested in someone in Chicago (either the West Side or Downtown).
My current doctor is an absolute disaster.
Totally unprofessional, zero empathy, and won't even sign off on sick leave.

Thanks!

If you really need it: maybe Saint John or Jankomir, but honestly, just hit up Vrapce—their neurology department is the way to go.

I heard the doctors over in Siget are great. If you find anyone good, let me know because I’m also hunting for a GP. I live over on Folnegovica, but I work near the Arena, so having someone along that route would be perfect.🕺

On my end, I'm looking for the best specialist in Chicago for adult acne. Someone who actually wants to deal with the case instead of just slapping an antibiotic prescription on you and saying "it's nothing."☕

I need to find a dermatologist in Chicago for my daughter. She’s got these two growths in her hair that her doctor dismissed as just pigment-free moles, but we’ve actually noticed them getting bigger. It was an absolute nightmare just trying to get a referral from her insurance.
I don't mind paying a bit out of pocket, but I am definitely not dealing with those insane, daylight-robbery prices you see at those private clinics.

I'm looking for a physiatrist. My appointment isn't until October 28th—which feels like an eternity given the back pain and tingling in my foot—and honestly, neither topical gels nor pills are doing much for me.
What are your thoughts on the Sremac Bohaček clinic in Središće or the one near Saint Roch?

Hi there! Just wanted to mention that the Solmed clinic is actually running a study right now involving some innovative medications specifically for back pain. You can call them at 01 5620 921 to get all the specifics. Since the treatment is sponsored, it would be completely free for you as a participant.

Thank you for the offer, truly, but I really need to pinpoint the underlying cause of this pain first.

Any recommendations for a dermatologist in Cleveland?
I'm seeing exam prices hitting $117, so I’m really hesitant to just walk into any random office (potential issue: some male viral warts—my own diagnosis, if you will)

Does anyone happen to know (preferably based on firsthand experience) a high-quality specialist for hemorrhoid treatment—specifically someone who performs laser surgery? I'm based in Miami, but I'm willing to travel; the main thing is finding someone within the US. I am open to both hospital procedures and private clinics. Thanks!

I see the consultation fees are around $117, so I’m not exactly looking to just see anyone—especially since there might be a potential issue involving some viral warts... if my own diagnosis is correct, at least. :-)

Maybe try checking with your primary care doctor first—it's usually easier. Here in Chicago, some doctors actually perform cryotherapy right there in the office. For instance, mine does, so I didn't have to go on some sort of pilgrimage to find a specialist.
