I've been dealing with this annoying dermatitis lately
and I was wondering, how much does she actually charge, and can you get an appointment quickly? Like, do you have to sit around waiting forever once you arrive, or is it pretty smooth?

Well, yeah, but prices definitely aren't universal across the board... so I honestly couldn't tell you what she charges.
She got me in super fast and there was zero waiting around once I showed up—she's honestly just a wonderful woman.

So, what did you end up seeing her for? And honestly—were you actually happy with how she handled things? I mean, did she actually give you a real solution or at least help you pin down what the actual problem was? I went to see a specialist a while back and for $167, she just gave me about five sentences and then basically said, "We're done here" 🙄

Dr. Mario Gligora at the Belvedere is incredibly good,
but he’s also extremely expensive

I'm looking at a dermatologist myself. Never bothered before since I've never had any issues. What's the damage like regarding prices?

I actually went in because of my IUD... first for the checkup, and then to have it removed
(+ pathology report). She was absolutely wonderful—explained everything so clearly and vividly, and she got the whole thing done so quickly and smoothly.

The Medica website doesn't list any prices... I'll try looking through a few more options—maybe someone else on here has some info too.

I also found this one, and they actually have a contract with Medicare, but even there, the pricing is nowhere to be found. Has anyone heard anything about them?

I am currently seeing Jane Doe at the Mayo Clinic... She is truly phenomenal. To be perfectly honest, I have wasted a small fortune on various private dermatologists who couldn't even provide a decent diagnosis, yet she knew exactly what was wrong with me the moment she laid eyes on me.

How long is the wait to see her? I really don't have all day to sit around in a waiting room—that’s exactly why I’m looking for a private practice instead.

You actually have a scheduled appointment, so you won't be stuck in a waiting room for ages, though you should expect to wait about a month before you can actually get on the calendar.

So... I'm looking for a dentist covered by Medicare, specifically someone in Chicago who can handle getting permanent braces installed.
If anyone has a recommendation... also, does anyone know what the waitlist looks like right now?
Thanks!

I have a quick question. Our condom broke, but we realized it immediately and stopped, so I was wondering what the chances are of pregnancy

Is this some kind of slogan? An ad?😕

On several different threads about gynecologists, I’ve read this exact same sentence—word for word—from a bunch of "different" women.

Come on, doctors at Harni, try to show at least a little imagination. 🤣

At Star, seeing Dr. Jane Doe 🙂

cosmicridge5 said:That woman is far too clever and overly sympathetic... she literally overwhelms you with positive energy. 🙂

Why is everyone praising her so much? Describe what Dr. John Doe is actually like.

I have seen Jane Doe a few times at the clinic and she seems nice, very energetic and positive. But what about this other one? I am curious. 🙂

You really ought to head over to Siget Health Center; they’re offering a full annual checkup for free, and honestly, when you consider it costs about the same as a basic insurance premium, the value is absolutely unbeatable.

Dr. Jasenka Grujic Koracin, Gupceva Star 1, Washington, D.C., 01 466 7642.
Checkup + bloodwork roughly $167
The doctor is an incredibly sharp diagnostician and actually a pleasure to talk to—not your typical clinical robot. Plus, the nurse is absolute perfection; she’s hilarious. I’d definitely recommend this place.
Good luck!

Word is the stars have finally aligned for dental work; last year was an astrological disaster. There are plenty of stellar dentists out there, and it's worth the effort to find one. Personally, I need a mix of technical skill and actual character. No matter how talented someone is, if they're unpleasant, I can't deal with them. It’s worth the legwork—sometimes you can tell who you'll click with just by a quick phone call.

We just heard a rumor that Dr. Darko Antičević (Šalata) has opened a private orthopedic practice somewhere in Washington, D.C. Does anyone have any actual confirmation on this?
Thanks.

I’m looking for some solid dentist recommendations—specifically in the San Francisco area or maybe somewhere nearby. Could you let me know if they’re private practice or if they take Medicare? I'd really rather not deal with any massive, unexpected bills after the appointment.
It would be great if they were located on the west side of town, but honestly, I guess it doesn't really matter that much...
