Is this a private dentist, or do they take insurance through Medicare?

Alright, thanks. I’m heading to my private dentist now and I've been pretty happy with them—it's not even overpriced. My only issue lately is that the office has been incredibly crowded. It actually happens where someone just walks in without an appointment and takes my slot, even though I had booked ahead and showed up right on time. So, instead of the 30-minute appointment I was supposed to have, I only get about five minutes. That's barely enough time to test out a crown, let alone fix a filling on another tooth. It doesn't feel quite right to me. And it wasn't even an emergency or anything. I was really hoping to get another filling done this week before getting the crown next week, but there just wasn't enough time. Now everything is pushed to Monday, and I'm honestly not sure if they'll have enough time then either. Especially if some walk-in tries to steal my spot again.

Dr. Oprah Winfrey, Beverly Hills 😍
She's amazing. Don't be afraid to ask for extra anesthesia if you need it. She’s kind, thorough, and really knows her stuff... 🙏
She has a private practice but also accepts Medicare.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good OB-GYN at the university clinic?

So, besides Michael Jordan, there’s also this German chiropractor—a Canadian practitioner who actually holds a full six-year degree—who comes highly recommended. For anyone interested, I happen to have two vouchers available at $167 each. Basically, you get an initial consultation plus two spinal adjustments, which normally would be worth $167. I'm offering the whole package for $133. To put it in perspective, the total value of the vouchers is $333🙂. I can send them via 🙂 if you're interested.

I'm looking for a dentist in New York City who won't judge my "unconventional" oral hygiene routine. I'm honestly tired of being lectured about how my teeth are going to decay 🙄 if I don't switch to some fluoride-heavy toothpaste...
thanks 🙂

I’m going to go ahead and give my vote of confidence to Dr. Dubravko čuvati once again! He truly gets it—he actually listens to all your dental concerns and doesn't judge your oral hygiene habits one bit!

I’m on the hunt for a gynecologist in Indianapolis—ideally a woman—and look, I totally get that everyone is completely slammed right now, but surely they have to start taking on new patients after the recent changes, right?
I’m not looking for a private clinic; I need someone through the Social Security Administration. If anyone knows a good one, please slide into my DMs. Seriously, help a girl out! 🙂

Hey there!

I could really use some help. Can anyone recommend a solid private neurologist in New York City? I’m looking for someone you’ve actually seen personally or have heard great things about.
I want to get an appointment booked soon. Also, does anyone know if they take credit cards (like Diners Club...)?

thanks

I can definitely recommend Dr. Bočina over in Sun. I'm not entirely sure about the payment situation, but you won't be waiting forever, and the doctor is top-notch.

When was that? I'm checking out their site right now and I don't see him listed under neurology. It just shows Dr. Potkonjak and Radić.

Dr. Podobnik
I’ve actually seen her myself! I know quite a few people who have gone to her too, and everyone is super happy—from her expertise to how she treats you.
I'm not sure about insurance cards, but you'll definitely get an itemized receipt without having to ask.
Check online; she has an office over at her husband's hospital, which is basically that top-tier private maternity center.

In March...? Are you actually being serious right now? 🤷

Hey there! I just signed up with Dr. Galović in Downtown... Now I'm just waiting on the Social Security Administration to approve it, if I've got that right... I don't actually need an exam right this second—so I'm wondering, do you have to go in for a checkup immediately after signing up, or can you just go whenever you want? thanks

thanks for the reply🙂! As for booking a gynecologist, I actually made an appointment with Dr. Galović downtown a few days ago—I've heard she's solid, so I'm assuming they're still taking new patients😉

I’m looking for recommendations for an experienced, patient dentist for myself, plus a great pediatrician for my six-month-old baby in the Tampa area. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hey everyone...

Does anyone have a lead on an ENT specialist? Looking for recommendations—private clinics, any specific names? Or even just a solid public hospital/doctor where I won't wait forever?

I'm looking specifically in the Washington, D.C. area...

Also, has anyone here actually gone through sinus puncture/drainage? What was the experience like? Was it a nightmare or totally fine?

If you don't have an ENT recommendation, a pulmonologist would work too... if you've got one handy.

And honestly, what does a standard ENT exam even entail? Just curious how they actually check everything out.

THANKS in advance.... feel free to shoot me a DM if you'd rather not post it here.

Didn't really fit in the other threads, so I'm just dropping it here:

I'm on the hunt for a solid ENT in NYC—could be private practice or at a major hospital, doesn't matter.

Please let me know ASAP... I've been dealing with this misery for months now, and my GP finally told me to go see an ENT. I guess there'll be some kind of exam followed by an X-ray... or who knows what else they'll throw at me?

THANKS in advance... feel free to shoot me a DM.

(p.s. if anyone feels like typing...
has anyone here actually gone through sinus puncture surgery? How was the experience?
