Jason Campbell70 said:Even if they botched the wheel nut on purpose, any damage caused only hurts their own side.

They held everything in their hands, much like Ferrari did yesterday.

And they chose what was best for the team.

Did anyone lose out? No.

I have to say, I am eagerly anticipating the final races of the season.

It’s going to be a dark comedy listening to the excuses race engineers cook up to explain away slowing down or letting someone through. 🤣

So far, we've heard "oil pressure" and "fuel saving." 🎉

This subforum is basically full of conspiracy theorists—last year, everyone was convinced every new user was some kind of bot, though they couldn't even agree on whose clone it actually was.

It seems this year, everyone is obsessed with finding hidden team orders in every single radio transmission.

Look, just tell me—if Sebastian Vettel is sitting in 3rd, five seconds back, while Mark Webber is in 6th, over twenty seconds behind him, but right on the heels of Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton... what's the point of slowing down for Vettel? Isn't the actual goal to take points away from McLaren and close that gap?

I'm certain we'll see exactly what I mean in the upcoming races.

And the FIA? They’ll just keep playing dumb. 🤣

We’ve all heard that same old line: "Alonso is just faster," and honestly, once you hear that excuse, you realize there's really no point in even asking for an apology anymore.😁

Honestly, the only thing more idiotic than that is watching the Ferrari pit wall actually reach out to Red Bull just to point out that Alonso is faster than Vettel—as if they didn't already know exactly what kind of mess that creates. 🤣🤣

It’s all just one big, exhausting joke, isn't it? 🤣

Come on, man, take off those rose-colored glasses and see things for what they really are. Isn't God merciful to us all? 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Jason Campbell70 said:It’s pure incompetence within a team, much like what we're seeing at Red Bull this year.

When that happened a couple of years ago, I felt the exact same way.

You have two massive egos in the garage, constantly clashing and sabotaging each other, while the third driver cruises to the championship.

That's exactly how this season seems to be playing out so far.🤣

and far too often at Williams 😢

Michael Lee4 said:Just more proof of how amateurish they are over there... I mean, at least pull it off professionally instead of making the whole world laugh (or cringe, depending on how you look at it). Honestly, it doesn't surprise me at all that they asked Felipe baby to let Alonso through. But for God's sake, could they at least execute it differently to spare themselves and the viewers from that pathetic display from the moment they stepped out of the cars until the cameras cut after the press conference...

I honestly don't get them. Why couldn't they just quietly adjust his RPMs by two laps on the computer and call it a day? Or just tell him, "Hey, you need to save your brakes," or maybe follow Mark Webber's idea—just swear, and then it gets cut anyway due to censorship.

They have infinite options, but no. They go all out with everything, and they do it so clumsily that even a novice could see right through it.

But hey, I suppose when you're pulling in a salary of $100, $200, or $300k+, you can't really expect much better. Maybe they just need more money 😁.

This whole mess with team orders and those idiotic bans is just a direct result of one guy, Rubens Barrichello, acting like a total loose cannon while he was on the ground in Austria. That scandal was so bad he should've been fired on the spot.

Look, if I’m dumping hundreds of millions of dollars into a business every single year, I have every right to decide how my drivers—who are being paid a fortune just for the privilege of driving for me—cross the finish line. In any real American corporation, if an employee acted out like that—publicly undermining management and making it obvious they don't give a damn about following orders right in front of investors and partners—they’d be kicked to the curb immediately.

Because of these stupid rules, we had to sit through that pathetic excuse for a press conference yesterday where the drivers were basically forced to dodge or ignore every question. Honestly, I really hope Ferrari hits Massa where it hurts financially for repeating a slightly toned-down version of Barrichello's nonsense... if they don't just fire him outright.

There was once this idea floating around that the wealthier teams should be allowed to field three cars on the grid,

just imagine what an absolute clusterfuck that would turn out to be.

They certainly will, though probably not through any public channel of communication. 🤦

Is this just more corporate nonsense and inside jokes for people in the industry, or am I still allowed to occasionally trick myself into actually watching some sports? ☕

Not sure, someone point me in the right direction. ☕

You can't really lie to yourself about it.

Professional sports aren't even real. Amateur sports are sports; everything else is just business.

Give me a break. As if Massa actually knows how to drive well enough to have a right to lose his mind like old-school Villeneuve, but this is just straight-up ridiculous. It’s just like what Alonso said over the radio 😬

There hasn't truly been any "sport" here for thirty years now—not since Bernie took total control. It’s become nothing more than a shell game of money, viewership numbers, sponsors, TV rights, and endless advertisements. The drivers? They're just twenty poor souls being driven around like puppets on strings in cars that, if we're being honest, have become so technologically sanitized over the last three decades that it's honestly quite tragic.😢

You guys are kind of hilarious. Let's just leave the clueless Alonso alone.😬
