If you're looking for a brand new experience, why not try taking a bullet to the head? Pretty sure it'll be an enlightened experience.

So? You think that's worse advice than what's already been posted on here?

Look, most of the advice on this thread says way more about the people giving it than the kid who actually started the topic.😉

Exactly.
Everyone’s got an opinion. I’m against drugs, period, and the advice was pretty blunt: "it'll hurt like hell and it'll kill you."
I just don't really buy that they're still just a kid.

Carol Jackson45 said:What is wrong with you people? If a kid isn't just messing around, do you honestly think your moronic advice is going to stop him from trying? "Don't do it"—yeah, because that's worked wonders for everyone who ever actually accomplished anything. And here come all these damn saints and gym rats who probably haven't even touched a beer, let alone a cigarette. What even is a drug to you? You're all hypocrites.

Frank, look up "harm reduction."

Willard, send me that photo 🙂

I see things differently. I’m not out here judging anyone who fell into that trap, but this guy SAT THERE, THOUGHT ABOUT IT, and said, "I've tried everything else, now I want drugs."

If he’s decided to post this, then he needs to deal with the backlash, because let’s be real, he decided to post this absolute garbage out of pure boredom. There are people out there dealing with massive problems who get sucked into that cycle, and I don't blame them—they need help.

But to sit there and rationalize that this is what you want out of life? I just don't get it.
The culture today (😁) is such that anything previously considered evil in a conventional sense can be rebranded as a "lifestyle choice," and if you criticize it, you're labeled a hypocrite.

Without getting too philosophical here, where does that "freedom" end and actual evil begin?

In my book, a hypocrite isn't the one who says, "Yeah, you're being a total jerk," while also being willing to own up to their own sins and admit when they're wrong without sugarcoating the truth.

I used to spend my weekends passed out in some ditch somewhere in the Midwest or traveling through neighboring states 😁. So yeah, I'm a jerk. Next 😬 .

What kind of killing are we even talking about here? Seventeen is a relative term, but starting to use drugs at that age? That's not a child—that's a grown adult in training.

Having a hardline stance on something you clearly don't understand is a classic move, though. 🙏 🙏 🙏

The only thing I can call out regarding the kid is that "I'm seventeen and I've tried everything under the sun" attitude. 🤣

Will, you were actually there, living through that movie, so I really respect your take on this. But seriously, help me out here—how can walking into something like this be considered a good move? Isn't it way harder to claw your way back out once you're already deep in it than it would've been to just stay away entirely? Especially when we're talking about someone making a conscious choice. This isn't some freak accident or a lapse in judgment; it’s a calculated decision. It's like he's looking at his life and deciding, "Screw it, I've tried everything else, let's just see where this goes."

I'm asking because, aside from messing around with mushrooms or psilocybin, I haven't really touched anything else 😁 alcohol used to be my whole world before I finally kicked that habit 😁.

I once slept an entire night, completely intoxicated, on the floor of a university basement—the very place where I was supposed to be pursuing an education rather than just looking for a place to crash 😁 Next. 😬

Into what? Getting sucked into what?

If you're talking about heroin addiction, the thing is, I had a pretty skewed perspective on it. Even though I had plenty of experience with other stuff when I first started using heroin, I also knew people who had been on horse for ages. As for the addiction itself... man, you wouldn't believe how long it took for it to actually grab me. Because it happened so slowly, I thought I was fine since I didn't have issues when I stopped. But once it hits? Getting clean is brutal. Thank God I made it out, but I don't regret a single day of using any drug. I've lived through enough stuff that I couldn't even explain it to people who currently use, let alone someone who hasn't touched anything in their life.

As for the kid, the way he ends up wanting to use is pretty damn rare. 🤣

But that's nothing compared to what a few rare people have written on this thread, and honestly, I feel bad for them. Acting like they know everything, especially in the way some people here do, is just pathetic. Though, seeing people like that is actually helpful—if you ever think you're doing poorly in life, seeing these guys would make you feel a lot better.🙏 🙏 🙏

Based on that last sentence, I'm guessing you think we all have the exact same serotonin levels and all that crap, so everyone always feels great. 🙏

I've been using for 15 years, so I wouldn't exactly say I haven't lived much.

What are you guys even doing with these brainless comments? Does this come from some deep sense of justice and Care, or are you just talking nonsense because it's easier to act all positive and self-righteous? 🙏 🙏 🙏

Listen, genius—if you weren't busy getting high and actually went to a university, maybe you'd learn that you can boost your serotonin just by hitting the gym. 🙏 You’d save a hell of a lot of money, too. 🙏

Give me a break, obviously getting high feels good. I mean, you don't do it to feel like garbage, right? 🤣

But look, it all comes down to your biology—what kind of brain you've got and how you actually react to whatever you're taking. Some people pop one pill and they’re eyes are rolling back, making weird faces, tripping out on hallucinations. Then you’ve got others who can crush 15 or 20 pills over a few hours and look ten times better than that first person, just feeling great and having a blast. 😁

It’s the exact same deal with heroin... some people start crashing after two or three weeks of using, while others can go for two years straight without any major issues or barely notice anything once they quit. Of course, it really depends on the dose and how you're doing it—snorting, shooting up, 😍, or injecting.

I go to school and I'm a chemist by trade.🙏

Yeah, sure, you should probably know you can lose weight with gymnastics too.🙏

Honestly, I highly doubt gymnastics can replicate the feeling of injecting 0.3 grams of cocaine straight into your bloodstream. If you actually tried to chase that feeling through calisthenics, you'd realize how underwhelming it is compared to the real thing. If you enjoy sex and orgasms, trust me, you'd love this stuff.

It’s easy to judge something when you have zero clue what it's actually like. It's easy to talk trash about drugs when you haven't tried them, but once you do, the whole perspective shifts.

It's like riding a motorcycle. People see us tearing down the highway and think we're idiots, but if they actually hopped on a bike and felt the rush, they'd get why we ride like maniacs.

Sure, I'd save maybe half a million or a million bucks, but who cares when you've got the money?🙏

Look, if tolerance wasn't a thing, nobody would ever bother stripping down, but how do you explain that to someone who thinks they know drugs just from watching movies or listening to old wives' tales?🤣

Another thing is, if drugs weren't cut with junk and were actually 100% pure, using them would be way "healthier." Nowadays, you don't even have 10% actual MDMA in an ecstasy pill, and the same goes for heroin. Coke holds up pretty well, though, and so does speed. LSD is just LSD—either you have it or you don't—it really just depends on how heavy the trip hits or how much is loaded onto each tab.

Oh, come off it, Willard, stop playing the hero... You managed to crawl out of that hole only after losing a massive amount of cash and giving your family a heart attack. Seriously, save that fairy tale about chemical orgasms for a bunch of seventeen-year-olds. Everyone knows drugs manipulate brain pleasure—that's exactly why people get hooked. Curiosity, bad crowds, trying to prove something, pure arrogance... You've still got plenty of that arrogance left. It's clear you're just desperate to explain how much "fun" you had so you can convince yourself you aren't just another loser who fell into the trap and stayed there.🙏

Arrogant and totally beyond words. Seriously. 🙏

I swear, you might be the first actual addict I've ever had a real conversation with in my entire life. 🙏

Who’s talking about chemical orgasms? Where did you even find that part? No. Most people get hooked because they don't realize they're addicted until they decide to quit. Nobody gets hooked because of curiosity, bad friends, or ego. They do it because of themselves.

Look, sweetheart, let's look at the timeline. Started smoking cigarettes in 2nd grade. Alcohol in 5th. Hash in 6th. Snorting glue, a little bit of LSD and speed in 7th. Then pills and coke in 3rd and 4th grade, and heroin by 20. I went hard. I'm talking 20 pills in a single night, tripping for two or three days straight. I know people who used way less than me for a fraction of the time and they're completely fried. Caused problems for my family? Not really. I finished school, did two years of college—dropped out because I just wasn't feeling it anymore—then went to a trade school in $8667, graduated top three in my class, and landed a job right where I interned. I've got the car I always wanted, the new bike I wanted, and everything else I want. So, honestly, I don't see how drugs negatively impacted my life. Between the substances and the lifestyle, I've lived more than most people do in eighty-five years.

I mean, what’s the point of using if you aren't having a good time and feeling good? Some people drink coffee and are so hooked they can't function if they don't have their fix in the morning. So when someone like that tries to lecture me about drugs, yeah, it's natural for me to be arrogant. In those moments, I enjoy being arrogant just as much as they enjoy their precious morning coffee.😘

Arrogance is a virtue 🙏

Look, you're just full of prejudices. Is being an "addict" some kind of personality trait? It's like calling someone a "sports fan" 🙏

And why should I care about someone who's stuck? For crying out loud, everyone lives their own life. People can do whatever they want with it, and if they choose to use, they can look out for themselves. I've lost about ten friends to overdoses, and I didn't show up to any of their funerals—it's not like I forced them to OD.

So what am I supposed to do? Care? Of course drugs are good; if they weren't, people wouldn't be using them. At least drugs have an effect. Smoking doesn't really do anything, yet half the world is hooked on nicotine... but hey, that's fine because it's legal. Taking Xanax is fine too because it's legal, and as long as we're paying taxes on the meds, we can all just be Prozac nation 🙏

I told you straight up that I have plenty of opinions on drugs, and this idea that being clean equals being "good" is just plain stupid.

Nicotine isn't good either, and I don't see any reason why anyone would advise a minor to start smoking... comparing coffee to heroin makes zero sense, so I think we've exhausted those parallels.

The real problem is that your ten little friends can't even step up and explain to a kid that life isn't all sunshine and rainbows, especially since those of us who never touched drugs have nothing to say about it. 🙏

I'm glad you're doing well, healthy and wealthy... honestly, I am, because you're a decent guy. But I feel that same empathy that makes me wish no kid would ever start using drugs in the first place. Your argument that "you can't attack drugs, and I don't care about the kid because everyone manages their own life" is just garbage. You'd say the exact same thing to someone trying to share knowledge or experience about anything that might lead a young person down a bad path. So, your "insider" knowledge of drugs doesn't interest me at all; I'm just fascinated by how little you seem to care about anyone other than yourself.
