First, I went to the Sunce clinic for an examination that was honestly just incredibly painful. The doctor there prescribed some Detralex tbl and Ultraproct suppositories, which actually worked wonders for a few months. But then, they came back even worse than before. Eventually, I made an appointment with Dr. Turjak in Indianapolis, and his exam was so gentle I barely felt a thing... He told me straight up that no amount of creams or pills were going to fix my situation. He said I needed cauterization. It requires three sessions, and the cost per treatment is $167, which is worth every single penny. Usually, you shouldn't have more than a month between treatments—actually, longer is better—but definitely not less. It isn't really painful; it’s more of a stinging sensation, but you can handle it without any trouble at all. Once it was done, I felt such immediate relief... everything just felt better right away. Honestly, the whole process is negligible compared to the absolute misery I was enduring while dealing with them.
I'm not trying to push this on anyone—if creams and suppositories are doing the trick for you, then that's great! But if they turn your life into a living hell like they did mine, then this truly is the only solution, and you shouldn't put it off. I feel like a brand new person; I can finally do everything I couldn't do before. I tried every possible method under the sun, but most had very little success and the relief was always so short-lived... I kept stubbornly refusing surgery—and there are several different methods available, cauterization being just one—because everyone kept telling me they would just come back. Big deal...🙄That's what messed with my head the most. Even if they do return, I know that at least for a while, I'll be able to live like a normal human being, completely pain-free. And if they do come back—which definitely isn't the rule—then I'll just go back for the cauterization. It really isn't nearly as scary as it sounds, and for me, it was indescribably helpful.
