Quick question:
Can I eat that chicken noodle soup recipe later in the evening? Because that’s where I run into my biggest issue: I get hungry enough to lose my mind around 10 or 11 PM. I try to kill the craving with water or some tea, but most of the time I just screw it up.
So??? Can I? Huh? Is it possible? Huh? Huh????

You can eat soup anytime, and honestly, the more the better... but just the soup! Don't go adding random extra stuff to it outside of your main meals.

Since I'm not exactly a huge fan of how this soup tastes, I just whizzed it all up with an immersion blender yesterday, and now I've been tossing a different sauce into every meal just to change the flavor profile, and it actually isn't half bad.

If you manage to survive those first seven days of nothing but soup, you should take a little break (like one week) before jumping back in. After that week is over, I switch over to that "no mixing foods" diet. It’s way easier for me since I'm working all day and it's just simpler to manage. I'm not gaining weight, in fact, it's dropping off, just not all at once.

And there are two golden rules the whole time: DRINK WATER AND MOVE MORE!

Good luck to everyone out there struggling👋

I'm down 9 pounds right now and I am absolutely stoked....

Since I don't actually care for the taste of this soup very much, I used an immersion blender on it yesterday to puree it. Now I just add a different sauce to every meal to change up the flavor profile, and honestly, it’s not bad at all.

If you can survive those first seven days on nothing but soup, you should probably take a break (like a one-week breather) and then jump back in. After that week, I switch over to the "food combining" diet. That’s way easier for me since I’m working all day and it's just simpler to manage. I’m not gaining weight, in fact, it's coming off, though maybe not super fast.

And there are two golden rules the whole time: WATER AND MORE EXERCISE!

Good luck to everyone out there fighting the good fight.👋

Right now I’m dropping 4 pounds and I am beyond thrilled....

I was also thinking about switching to food combining next week.🙂

Day 5 -> down 3 lbs🙂 I don't know, I'm getting a little nervous now; probably 2 of those 3 pounds are just water weight, but hey, if even one pound is actual fat—I'm still happy.🙂 Great start.👍

Otherwise, I drink plenty of Kool-Aid (which helps) and water... I haven't even given up coffee (no way!)

Ugh, I wish I could hold out that long!🙂

Good luck to you and Brian Martin9!

Yesterday, my mom and I spent the whole day just cooking and eating our way through everything. We made all the usual dishes, but the real star was definitely the chicken noodle soup.
I gotta say, the flavor was spot on. It’s got that sautéed cabbage vibe going on—it almost makes me want to toss in some horseradish or maybe a spicy sausage just to kick things up a notch.
The only issue is the old folks have absolutely fallen in love with it. If they keep asking for this, we're gonna be stuck chopping veggies and cooking until we drop just to keep them fed.😁

Good luck to everyone out there, including myself.🙂

I finally finished making that damn chicken noodle soup recipe.

I'm testing it out right now. Sitting here at my desk, naturally. 😬

I can't tell if it actually tastes decent or if I'm just starving because I've been simmering this since noon. 😁

But honestly? It mostly just tastes like vegetables to me—and you know how much I live for tomatoes and green bell peppers. 😁

By the time 11:00 PM rolls around and I end up eating the TV, 😁

So, I woke up yesterday and my folks are already telling me they aren't interested in eating this stuff anymore... 🙂

It's been 5 days so far -> -6 lbs 🙂

I guess we'll just see what happens next, though I don't really have a set plan yet 🙂

Honestly, I’m feeling even better today than I did yesterday... I think it's just because I was starving! 😁

Just tell me—do you also find yourself eating like you haven't seen food in weeks once you finally sit down? Because that is definitely my situation. 😁 😁

If I can just make it through until morning, I’ll be happy with myself. 😬

I have never been on a single diet in my entire life... this is a completely new experience for me. 😁

Don't even get me started on what kind of cravings hit me every single night... 🙄

Well, I’d say it’s got a solid flavor—kind of reminds me of sautéed cabbage. Makes me want to toss in some shredded carrots or maybe a spicy sausage to kick it up a notch.

😁 👍

I honestly don't think I could finish this entire pot of stew even if I had three weeks to do it😁

Come on, don't you dare quit on me now... I know it sucks, but trust me, it's worth it.
We had some crazy party going on over the weekend and I actually managed to stick to meat and salad, though I did cheat a little bit with some sweets, but nothing major......
The progress is still happening.... if you totally blow it, just reset and start over from scratch (day one!) and everything will fall back into place...
Good luck, 👋

Man, everything is just easier when you stick to a chicken noodle soup recipe 😢

Look, if you actually have a plan in place, then fine, go for it. You know you have to stick to it... it’s tough, I guess, but it works.

But it's pathetic when you don't—you think you're just going to have a little bite, then you lose focus... and suddenly you've eaten way too much... I mean, after having pasta for lunch, I really should be hungry until dinner 😁

Well, I definitely need to try this... otherwise, I'm just going to gain all those pounds back! 😲

Hey ladies, are you seriously eating ONLY this soup, or is there more to the plan?

Honestly, the soup itself tastes great. During the summer, I always whip up something similar using whatever veggie scraps I have lying around (even green beans).

I gotta say, though, pushing just the soup sounds a bit extreme... I feel like you’d end up losing weight just by pairing it with some healthy side dishes.
That soup basically kicks your metabolism into overdrive and really helps flush out extra fluids.

Good luck!!

🙂

I just stumbled upon this thread right now😳 😁
I’ve actually known about this miracle soup diet for years. I used it once to drop 12 pounds in a really short window, and honestly, I haven't gained a single pound back in two years. Now, full disclosure: I cheated a little on day four—I swapped out the milk for yogurt and had coffee with brown sugar every single day—but even then, the soup worked wonders. If you just stick to the soup alone, you aren't going to see nearly as much progress as you would by combining the prescribed meal plan with the soup itself.😉 Because look, the whole point of a diet shouldn't be about starving yourself or constant deprivation; it’s about jumpstarting your metabolism using specific, high-quality ingredients that work together to kick things into gear and burn fat faster.

But no, people would rather blow$100 their money on some overpriced Coca-Cola cellulite cream and another $200 on those "miracle" fat burner pills🙄, when all the wisdom you need is simply sticking to a solid diet that actually delivers results. And don't even get me started on how beneficial it is to occasionally just cleanse your system with nothing but fresh fruits and vegetables.
