But yeah, they definitely sugarcoated it too much, I guess. That silly "happy ending" vibe and the whole "you gave me peace" thing... it feels totally wrong for that character. I mean, Achilles is driven by nothing but pure hubris from the jump, so he really should have stayed that "natural born killer" type—someone who didn't really choose his path, he was just born that way. If they hadn't gone off the rails at the very end, the character would’ve been incredible. And honestly, the whole romance between Paris and Helen was kind of a letdown... Menelaus and Agamemnon were great, Hector was okay, but Priam felt weak. Plus, I really think they missed the mark by leaving out the connection between Patroclus and Achilles, which would've made his rage make so much more sense. Leaving out the gods was probably a smart move, though (even if I personally would've loved a little nod to Apollo when Achilles gets hit by that arrow)...

It’s just like when that one arrow hits him right in the heel—the only spot that wasn't bulletproof. You have people out here totally convinced that Achilles is invincible, and then suddenly they're staring at him dead on the ground with an arrow sticking out of his heel, realizing the whole thing was a lie because he was vulnerable right there.

I hear he's good at charming other men's wives..." 😂 —is, whether you want to admit it or not, simply c-u-l-t---l-y cool!!!

MrBeast said:Priests don't need all these fancy hints about Apollo. I've seen how they think before. You just tell a priest "he pissed off Apollo" and then "he died," and boom—they’ve already built this whole cause-and-effect thing in their heads. >)
It's just like when people believed Achilles was invincible, and then they see him dead with an arrow sticking out of his heel and suddenly they're like, "Oh, he must have died because he was vulnerable there." Like, duh.
And the romance part? Did you actually watch Troy or maybe some cursed Mariana flick? >)
