Anthony Lopez5 said:I have a fuzzy memory of that post too—can someone give me a quick rundown? Also, I'm wondering if Stinger apologized to Frank Collins85 publicly or via PM?

Publicly? I doubt it. Otherwise, there wouldn't have been a need to delete the post and hide what happened...

Hey, Anthony Lopez5!

Does it even matter who told whom?

Their little sadomasochistic nonsense didn't belong
in a "serious automotive discussion" anyway...

Michael Lee4 said:Because before I got here, this place was a disaster—a total mess, just a pile of garbage... and I was brought in to fix it. Look, if I managed to "survive" my first month after nuking three chat threads despite all the heat people gave me, and now those same people are laughing with me instead of at me, that's enough for me. If a "kid" like Giga figured things out at 19, and people twice his age still can't grasp them, there isn't much else I can say... and no, I'm not a perfect user; nobody is.

If you made it through the first few months, you'll make it through whatever comes next. There are plenty of bros out there who will have your back. Just ask yourself... why are you even bothering to survive this if you aren't feeling it? The quote is below and the rest is above, exactly how you warned me it would be.

and I'll take my punishment, but shouldn't he actually be setting an example?
My biggest gripe is when they post total chaos
only to show up the next day acting like nothing happened after deleting everything.🤣

He’s definitely not cut out for being a moderator, but if anyone can stomach him constantly preaching
that a Ford is the best value for your money just keep going.👍

coppernomad28 is clearly living in some movie fantasy; he found a workaround by bypassing this PF (honestly, the thread title caught my eye though 😁 )

Anyway... that's my two cents... bye bye

An example of what? Repeating myself a million times to someone who just refuses to listen? I’m not asking for much—just basic reading comprehension. Read the whole post instead of hyper-focusing on one single word like a broken record just because it offended your delicate ears. You're out here insulting me by barking about the same old nonsense without even bothering to read my explanations, even after I've laid them out clearly multiple times. And then you actually expect people to take you seriously or give you any respect on this forum? Please.

You completely missed the point. Yeah, I post some nonsense now and then because someone’s behavior pushes me to it—usually someone going off-topic or breaking the rules. I leave it up long enough for them to get the message and for everyone else to see it too. Once that's done, I delete it so the thread can actually get back on track. If I didn't do it this way, I'd just handle everything without making a scene.

I guess the low-activity users might take offense if I say I don't really notice them... I only "see" the old guard. Sorry guys and girls, but it’s just not happening. Pick a standard nickname and actually contribute; otherwise, you're just wasting your time.

coppernomad28 said:😂😂😂 this is priceless 😂😂

Seriously, man, you’re the one who profiled me based on how and how fast I managed to spam 1,500 posts 🤣🤣🤣 and now it bothers you when someone gives you a taste of your own medicine?

Does it ever click in that head of yours just how inconsistent, hypocritical, and narrow-minded you're being? Is that really how you think? God forbid someone actually calls you out—then it's an immediate landslide of sarcasm, irony, and insults coming at you...

Do you even realize that everything you claim to hate about other users on this forum is exactly what you’re doing yourself? Do you ever just step up and admit it publicly: "Sorry guys, I went a little too far..."

Taking things out of context again... read what I wrote one more time, maybe it'll click.

I must admit, I was initially a bit taken aback by how Michael Lee4 handles "issues" on this forum. Although I'm mostly just a lurker here, I've managed to put together a little over three hundred posts over the last year, which is quite funny compared to some other members. Through that, I've come to the conclusion that Michael Lee4 is exactly the kind of moderator this thread needs. A thread like this requires a moderator like him. If he were any more lenient, I suppose everything would just end up in the PMs anyway.

Listen up, my friends. We all know we aren't living in some feudal system anymore, and the POLL makes that pretty obvious, even if it isn't perfect. Either way, Mr. Stinger and that other guy from Brazil are going to stick by us and look out for us just like they always have. I don't even want to bring up those other two; they have absolutely nothing to do with this topic..

So, democracy in action... Everything is working fine. Just please, for the love of God, calm down a little. Things will settle into place eventually. You'll get back to arguing about whether a "polo" is actually a decent ride, even if it's not exactly a gorgeous car...

Love you guys

Look, please just stop with this whole "10x" thing because you haven't done that to me even once...

You got hit with a yellow card warning... purely because you're a new member...

And everything written here doesn't apply solely to you...

coppernomad28 said:@ HB, I set up the poll as anonymous, thinking maybe more people would actually bother to vote if their names weren't attached to it and everything was private.
Maybe that was a total mistake on my part?

Complete mistake, man... you lost the battle right at the start, but honestly, I just feel bad because then the results would have absolutely crushed you.

Michael Lee4 is probably actually a pretty cool guy IRL... but his online persona takes such a hit because of this poorly executed moderation style. It’s always the same pattern: someone breaks a rule? Give them a yellow warning just to show we're being "lenient"... do it again? A little red flag and ten points gone... do it a third time? You're banned for a thousand years, good night.

I'm sitting this one out and won't be voting. The mods can see exactly who participated anyway, and since this isn't even a public poll, I have no desire to deal with them sulking at me just because I voted for things to go a certain way. 😂

Casey Hernandez63 said:Man, I’ve gotta chime in too.

That little snitch, giving me all that attitude—he actually banned me! I need him back just so I can hang him by his tongue.
A quick thought on what was said above: 😂😂😂😂

Honestly, mad respect.
I don't think I could even last two days.
In a week? Half the membership would be stuck in some group chat full of losers, jerks, morons, idiots, and complete nutcases (not literally, obviously, but you get it...). And first off, Djenan would be getting exiled from everything imaginable—life sentence, permanent, unconditional... just gone.

Good grief, if I were even trying to hold myself back, I’d be five times worse.
There isn't a soul in sight who could actually pull this off. We seriously need to clone him and give ten versions of him the exact same authority.

Honestly, I was hoping you'd tell me to get lost; I would've left right then and there... turns out you're just a total sellout.🤣

It's always good to keep your brain working. I actually wanted to answer post number 11 in this thread, but unfortunately, I haven't managed to find it yet...

If coppernomad28 wasn't such a gentleman, maybe I'd be the one here. Is there any connection between this topic he randomly started and the whole thing?

From where I'm sitting, not at all...

Fine, so people exist, whatever... I know they do, at least for one guy... goes by the name, or nickname, VOJKY...

EDIT:
But then again, who am I? Just someone with under 17,000 posts, probably not qualified to voice an opinion on a place this irrelevant, where I don't even need to be. And apparently, my response to an inappropriate post... Stinger's... doesn't even count...

Hasta la vista, as some might say...

Look, I think this bastard is actually alright. It’s not like I’m exactly lightning-fast with my words or anything, you know? Besides, everyone is entitled to a bad day—or a bad night, for that matter. Honestly, if a moderator from another forum (one that's way more hardcore than this one) says that Stinger is fine, then that's just how it is. We have no clue how much work those moderators actually have on their plates; all we can really do is sit here and guess.
coppernomad28, man, I seriously can't believe the mod just cut you down like that—like, on God, no warning whatsoever. At least not this one, anyway.

Honestly, it seems like not everyone here is using their head. Grown adults spending their time getting annoyed, picking fights, and wasting precious energy on some online forum—something that isn't even real life—really makes me think you all have way too much free time and not nearly enough sense.👎

Doesn't it bother you all—arguing like this and making it obvious to everyone just how much this forum actually matters to your lives? ... 🤣

coppernomad28 said:So, based on your logic, is the entire car PDF just your personal playground because you "cleaned it up"? Three chat threads? Those were the parts people actually wanted; that's why they were popular in the first place...

And you keep repeating phrases like "some things" or "the same things," which is incredibly vague. Honestly, if I were you, I'd start wondering if there's something wrong with how I'm coming across since so many people aren't taking me seriously. Have you ever actually tried being friendly toward someone instead of acting all authoritative and antagonistic?
Just try it once. Trust me, you might actually be surprised by the result....

The people who wanted to chat got what they wanted. But the people coming in to ask actual questions were constantly being mocked by certain chatters just for asking things they should have known. It started happening all the time. That’s exactly why I stepped up for the mod role and did what I did. And look at it—most of those chatters haven't even bothered to show up here anymore, or they barely visit. Does that tell you anything?

1.I could list plenty more, but I'll just say you're arrogant and rude... why does that bother you when everyone already knows that's how you are? It's easy, though—like a beggar holding a stick, pointing out everyone else's business while ignoring your own.👍

2. Right... I could address that "later I clear it out" comment regarding regular users... but then again, those who get provoked by others in a discussion end up getting penalized too... right?
