I checked out H&M, but they only had one size in stock and they just ended up digging into my legs like crazy. I probably need a size 16 or maybe an 18, depending on how the brand fits.

Victoria's Secret actually has some solid options for this. ๐Ÿ‘

Now thereโ€™s some activity popping up in the DMs on that forumโ€”though I can't quite tell if they're actually worth the trouble or just more digital noise.

I picked these up at Target... https://www.target.com/c/shapewear/-/N-5xtbt They do a great job smoothing out the hips, thighs, and stomach, $43

Another 50% off at C&A

Honestly, I just grab my swimwear at Kiku most of the time. It's easier.

Megan Grant20 said:Has anyone here ordered from the Violeta Mango web shop? Whatโ€™s your experience been like with their sizing? Iโ€™m struggling a bit with their numbers since I've never tried anything from them before and they don't have a standard size chart...

I usually grab a size down if thereโ€™s any stretch involved, though for tees I go for the largest sizeโ€”but honestly, it all really depends on the specific cut of the garment, because Iโ€™ve had instances where I buy two of the exact same size and one fits perfectly while the other feels way too small.

Megan Grant20 said:You can find their clothing line at Dick's Sporting Goods up to 3XL. You really have to try them on though, because the sizing runs a bit small, but they usually have plenty of different styles. I shop there myself for bottoms and those calf-length yoga pants, which go up to $27, and the material is actually great. I once picked up a one-piece swimsuit $33 there, and the two-pieces were either $45 or maybe $16 (don't kill me, I can't quite remember ๐Ÿ˜ต). I usually just head to the mall near me, so I'm not sure what the selection is like out East.

Is that like a specific section, or does everything go up to that size?

I usually grab all my swimwearโ€”specifically tankinisโ€”from C&A. They sell the tops and bottoms separately, so I just mix and match to get the right look. Honestly, it would be nice if they offered more cup sizes for the tops, because I somehow manage to squeeze into pieces that aren't even my actual size. You can find better options over at Anita, but they used to go for like $60 or something back in the day.

Itโ€™s not a special section; they have those mixed in right where all the other swimsuits are. You just have to look closely and hunt for them since they usually get pushed to the back, and it's the same deal with the sweats.

Which C&A in the US has the best selection?
I tried ordering a couple of tees from their website, but my PayPal wouldn't go through for some reason... so I just hit the "pay upfront" option?? And honestly, they haven't even sent me an update yet. ๐Ÿ™„

If you're looking for plus sizes, or just generally better stuff, the one in the West Side mall was probably my go-to. Itโ€™s got two floors, so there's way more variety. Plus, there's a decent-sized Target right above the grocery store near downtown if you're in that area.
There's also that spot over by King Cross where you can find both Target and Nkd with a good plus-size section.

Right above the Consum in Spanishโ€”the spot coppertinker13 was talking aboutโ€”thereโ€™s another massive store right next to Mane. Itโ€™s packed with cheap stuff, mostly looking like it came straight out of China, and besides some plus-size clothing, theyโ€™ve got a huge selection of swimsuitsโ€”everything from two-piece sets for bigger busts to tankinis.

Does anyone know if strapless bras actually exist for larger bustsโ€”like a D cup or bigger? And if they do, do they actually stay up, or is it just a waste of money? Where can I find one that won't slide down immediately?

I have two coupons for 20% off your total purchase at NKD in Canada. The discount is valid from September 17th to the 19th, provided you spend at least 10 euros.

If anyone wants them, I'm selling them for $5.00 and will ship via standard mail at my own expense.

Honestly, I really recommend this shop, especially if you're looking for plus-size options or kids' clothes. It's affordable, the quality is good, and they frequently run sales.

Lisa Myers, is there actually a huge difference in the plus-size selection at NKD over in Canada versus here?

No problem. ๐Ÿ™‚ Using Asso is the easiest way because the return is free and there's zero hassleโ€”just drop it off at your local HP service center and you're done. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hereโ€™s some more

http://https//www.yoursclothing.co.uk/
http://http//www.evans.co.uk/?geoip=home
http://https//www2.hm.com/en_eur/index.html
http://https//www.c-and-a.com/eu/en/shop

All these sites have codes, either for first orders or just some current ones running. I guess you should probably check if you can stack any codes before you actually hit buy.
If you're a little short in your cart to hit free shipping or meet a discount threshold, and you're down for local pickup in the NYC area or somewhere nearby, feel free to hit me up. I always kind of enjoy digging through the sale sections.
Good luck hunting. ๐Ÿ™‚
