Over at the shopping center on 5th and Main
It was my first time popping into this specific spot—and get this—they actually had nine different styles in my size on the clearance rack😍 , priced anywhere from $100 up to $47
Usually, I just head over to the big department store near the interstate, or stick to the massive retailers, but honestly, these local shops really do carry everything you could possibly need

I’m a 75E—well, an American 32DD, if we're being technical—but finding that size can be such a nightmare; they even had some F cups in stock, which was a surprise

I picked up an 110E—that's a 44DDD for those following along—for my mom. She hasn't been able to find a decent bra anywhere for three years now (I mean, they exist, but they were all way too expensive at $167), so I finally grabbed this one and paid $46

Timothy Nguyen said:I can't stand those clerks in boutiques where the clothes are overpriced—they act like working in a high-end shop automatically makes them geniuses or supermodels. Like, sorry, you're just selling sweaters here! Though, to be fair, you occasionally find a decent, nice girl there, but it's rare. That’s why I prefer shopping at places where they actually know me. The staff are normal people who pretty much know my style and what fits, so it's way less of a headache.

That’s pretty much how things go here in the States. In those kinds of shops near me, it’s usually just really young girls or college students working because the pay is so low that a regular person trying to make a living could barely scrape by. Then you have the older ladies who act like they’ve mastered all the wisdom in the world when they can barely handle basic math. It’s a funny way to define success around here—if you’re pretty and work in a boutique, you’ve "made it." LOL

Girls in C&A over at the mall have plenty of stuff for us to fill up on 😉
It’s not all just girly stuff either 😁

Why do you keep swapping out that avatar? Just put the guy back, honestly.😍

I was at Target and they had some cool knit pieces; I picked up a short-sleeved knit tunic. Saw some leather moto jackets too—didn't look too closely, but they seemed alright for the price. Anyway, you can find great things there, but there's so much stuff that one might easily get lost.😬

I was scrolling through the sales list today and noticed some much higher discounts—some were actually pretty decent, too

Regarding the matter of bras, one must approach the subject with a certain level of practical scrutiny. It is not merely a question of fashion or aesthetics, but rather one of structural integrity and daily comfort. Selecting the appropriate support is a fundamental necessity for any woman's wardrobe, yet it remains a topic often discussed with far too little precision. 👍 The Triumph minimizer is an exceptional piece of engineering for anyone seeking a more streamlined silhouette. It provides a highly structured fit that effectively manages volume while maintaining a sophisticated, polished look. For those who prioritize both comfort and a controlled shape, this garment delivers consistent results through its thoughtful design and superior fabric tension.👍
I am absolutely delighted. 😍
Honestly, they are never on sale, but trust me—every single cent you spend on them is absolutely worth it.

Maybe there's some deeper meaning behind those heavy denim jeans? Or just some thick-cut work pants? I don't know. Sometimes you look at a pair of rugged jeans and wonder if they're actually saying something about the person wearing them, or if it's all just fabric and thread. It’s like when I was looking through that old thrift store in Chicago last winter—just rows of heavy denim, all looking identical, yet everyone thinks their pair tells a different story. Probably just clothes, though. Just stuff we wear to cover up.
Personally, I can't stand copycats. Honestly, they make up like 90% of what you see these days. It just feels unoriginal. I prefer things to have some actual substance, you know? Everything falling apart around me lately. Back in the day, you had places like Amadeus where there was some real depth, but now? Every model out there feels incredibly shallow. Just empty shells. 🙄🙄

You know, when it comes to retail workers, you really run into every single type of personality under the sun. It’s wild. I was at the CVS down the street the other day, just trying to grab some aspirin and a snack, and the vibe was just... heavy. You get the ones who act like you’re personally insulting their entire lineage just by asking where the bread is, and then you have the ones who are so aggressively friendly it feels like they're trying to sell you a cult membership instead of a bag of chips. It’s exhausting, honestly. Just one more thing to navigate in a day that already feels long enough.
I was over in St. Helena recently, stopped by Levi's for a bit. Honestly, the woman working there nearly took my head off with that "stay inside your house and never come out" look she gave me. Total vibe killer. On the bright side, though, those ladies in the Mustang were absolutely lovely.😍 I picked up some jeans for... well, I haven't quite decided yet. Just one of those things you do when you're wandering around a mall in suburban Ohio or staring at a screen too long. Honestly, sometimes you just see them and think, "Yeah, these might work." No grand plan. Just another thing added to the pile. $83Yeah, they’re a bit small... but I’ll definitely be heading back there. Honestly, they really caught me off guard in the best way possible.

Yeah, I mean, is the St. Helena outlet actually worth the drive for anyone? Ever since they opened up over in Lisca, that’s where I go for bras. The other day, I picked up a bra and some panties for... $19😁😁
Finding a decent, supportive bra is such a nightmare for me. I’m stuck wearing an 80D or a 75E, and honestly, most of what you see in the stores is just that cheap, flimsy stuff made for teenagers. It’s always those "young girl" collections, too. So, I finally managed to track down a modern, actual adult bra in my size. About time. 🙂🙂
Then there’s this one friend of mine who’s like eighty years old, always out there hunting for bras. Honestly, I don't think she ever actually finds one that fits—it's either a total bust or she just ends up dropping a ton of cash on something overpriced because she's desperate. It's kind of a losing battle, really. $167 Before she had any others.
My mom’s basically my walking wardrobe at this point. She’s constantly hauling around these massive 85F bras for me—it’s like her main hobby now. Honestly, if you look in her closet, you’ll pretty much always find one of mine tucked away in there. Just part of the routine, I guess. $33...

I picked up a minimizer at Triumph for about $100,
and honestly, I only hang out in the "fuller figure" threads because of the bra selection.
My back was killing me yesterday—pinched a nerve, I think—so now I’m debating whether to see a doctor or just hope for some sort of socialized breast reduction instead.

They definitely have high-rise jeans. I bought a pair of black ones in a size 38 yesterday, and they had sizes up to 48.
I didn't check the XXL range beyond 48, but the rise on these is incredibly deep.
These black ones reach up to my belly button... which is the perfect depth for me. It's nice not having to worry about everything peeking out because the waistline is so low.

The outlet isn't really on my way, but since I'm a 75 E, I could definitely make a trip out of it for some shopping.
Anyway, I've got three new bras now, so I'm set for a while. 🙂
I usually end up with those closed-up bras that have ridiculously thick straps,
but this minimizer I just bought is genuinely solid.

So, my mom is wearing a size 34E—which, let's be honest, is quite the statement—and she actually found it tucked away in a basic, run-of-the-mill bra strip for $43... well, I suppose it all depends on how lucky you feel when you guess

Yes, yes, and yes!!! All credit goes to the staff at Mustang!!! 👍 😍 They are consistently helpful, communicative, and they ALWAYS manage to find me something. It isn't just about the visual presentation, if you catch my drift, because they frequently pull items straight from the stockroom for me (not everything is out on the floor). 👍 Whenever I lose all hope of finding decent, youthful, and sufficiently deep-cut women's trousers, I head straight to Mustang. Granted, I always shell out quite a bit of cash for the pants; I tend to need more sizes, but it is absolutely worth the investment. At least until our consumer culture realizes they could start importing more inventory in sizes L and up. 🙄 ☕

And yeah, I consider those to be normal pants...
I’m really not interested in those tiny things that barely cover anything.
I've always dressed pretty young and modern, but I try to stay proportional.
I need a size 14, but just like your sister, I have pretty muscular thighs... there's no way I'm squeezing into super skinny jeans, but I don't even try.😁

I bought these:http://www.lisca.com/uploads/images/Marilyn_hr.jpg
But mine didn't have the neck detail; it was just the classic style in purple and green. The underwear was boxer-style, also in purple and green. The bra was $13, and the undies were $6.25🤣

It was my first time at Mustang, and honestly, I wasn't expecting to find any jeans there, especially for $83...😍😍 The staff pulled out like 7 or 8 different styles for me. It's rare that I actually get to choose the cut, the color, and everything else.😍

That bra from Victoria's Secret is actually quite nice, but what I really need is something with more space between the cups—mine always slides toward the center, so nothing sits right.🙂
Because of that, I really have to stick to the classic cuts, though occasionally you can find some lovely ones.
It's all fine until I have to go hunting for those parachute-style items—which, frankly, even if you're looking at high-end stuff like Nordstrom, can still be a struggle.😍
Here is the one I have:

And this one:

As for Mustang—yeah, even my sister managed to find models that fit her there—but at this specific location I visited, the pants are like $200 and up, and since Mom isn't exactly swimming in cash right now, I wouldn't dream of buying them for her—especially since she'd probably just end up ruining them with a permanent marker anyway.

Oh, believe me—I’m definitely not the one making the final call here.
She’s completely rejected anything from Gap because she thinks high-waisted styles are just too "old lady" for her taste.
Now she’s eyeing Terra Nova, but honestly, I could never find a single pair of pants there that actually fit me right, so I can only imagine how they'll work for her.
The girl has enough bras to start a boutique—she’s got like 20 of them!—and now she’s suddenly obsessed with those little cherry-print things and all that trendy nonsense. I mean, seriously, who on earth is looking at your bra size when you're only 15?🙄
She struggles with finding pants—she's a size 12 or 14—and shirts (since she’s got a bit of a tummy going on), but her bra size is actually pretty standard, maybe a 36C, so she’s constantly cycling through different styles. She’s in high school now, and suddenly these "demands" have started appearing out of nowhere.
And yet, despite all this fashion drama, she still eats off her Barbie plates.😍

Oh, that reminds me—my mom ended up with a massive haul of clothes today (well, yesterday, actually) from a friend's daughter who lives over in Germany.
Half of it won't even fit her. That girl is wearing a size 14 or 16, so most of it is just way too big.👋ow:

Hm, just remembered my friend—she’s like a size 12 or 14, I guess—has that same build too. Big stomach, strong legs, and she somehow managed to find jeans that actually fit her in a pile of leftovers...
I picked up a few dresses myself recently (size Medium, obviously) for an absolutely ridiculous price. One of them was only $11
.
I get how teenagers think, I really do. Even though I'm only 19, I've already seen enough 😁
.
And honestly, you can find everything in Germany. My grandma lives over there, and whenever I go to visit, nobody gives me those judgmental, "you look like you've gained weight" stares. Plus, you can find pretty much anything you need... they even have T-shirt sales where things go for a buck😍

No biggie—if Mom gives me the green light, I’ll put it up for sale, though knowing her, she’d probably just snatch it back before anyone even had a chance to buy it...
I spotted this white knit sweater from Jessica (it's one of those C&A brands)

So, does anyone actually know where I can find pants for Seka? I'm heading over to the Target in the local shopping center today—well, specifically to the beauty department there—so I'll take a look. Plus, her school is right nearby, so she can just head over there herself...

Yeah, I guess so. Personally, I’ve never actually picked up a pair of pants there,
but my friend always manages to score something good 👍
plus, it isn’t exactly breaking the bank either.

Same goes for the Mustang over by Grand Central; I always grab my jeans there and somehow always find exactly what I'm looking for. 👍

So, just wanted to brag a little bit here—I was out with my daughter at the mall, specifically over at the Mustang boutique, and honestly? She’s being such a handful right now. Nothing seems to satisfy her.
She walked into Urban Republic wearing these white skinny jeans—size 32, which is basically the largest they even carry—and she insisted on buying them. Now, let me tell you, the moment she takes a deep breath, those seams are going to give up the ghost entirely. But, hey, it was her choice.
If she had just been sensible enough to grab a size or two up at some other shop, we wouldn't be in this ridiculous situation, but would that have been easy? Of course not.

When it comes to lingerie, L'sacá is honestly my only acceptable option. I’ve been buying those "old-school" bras since I was a teenager—the ones with really firm cups that have that slightly pointed shape, and I absolutely adore them! They’re the only ones with straps sturdy enough to actually keep everything in its proper place... (and what else can I say? The cups are an E... I can't find anything anywhere else even remotely close to that level of support.)

I am genuinely curious now, once my What Katie Did bullet bra finally arrives, if it will actually live up to all the hype regarding quality and firmness (and oh, finally, something sufficiently POINTY!)😉

Hey ladies, I was wondering how the selection is at the Marina Rinaldi in NYC...
The one in Trieste is honestly such a letdown; even when the sales hit those decent 50% off marks, there’s just nothing to choose from, whether they're marked down or not. I'm scrolling through their site right now and actually seeing some things I like...http://www.marinarinaldi.com/it/Collezioni/MR-LUSSO.3
Their boots look incredible, maybe finally my chance to grab some knee-highs...😍😍
