Thanks for the heads-up about the Liscine outlet, ladies—I swung by today and basically cleared out half the store. 😍
I walked away with 3 bras, 12 pairs of panties, 2 camis, and a bodysuit, all for just $257. 🙏
They definitely have cheaper stuff if you’re looking to save, but I ended up getting totally distracted by those pricier, fancy little lace pairs ($13). 🤣

does anyone have any idea what these boots actually go for?

I see these online and they look pretty lovely to me...

Not sure what these go for, though I paid about $220 for my lacquered ones a couple of years back when they were half off...

As for Mustang at the mall—honestly, props to them too. 🙏
Same goes for the Mustang over by Grand Central; I always grab my jeans there and somehow always find exactly what I'm looking for. 👍
I'm not really miserable about it anymore...
they can go screw themselves with their number 32...😲 😲
btw, just picked up some tees at Forever 21 and Zara.😍 😍

Just catching up on what everyone’s saying here, so I figured I’d chime in...
I’m pretty tall—about 6 feet—and usually float between a US size 12 or 14 depending on the day. Honestly, finding tops isn't my biggest headache, though sleeve length can be a bit of a nuisance😠. But shopping for pants? Jeans, slacks, whatever—it’s a total nightmare. Everything is always way too short, and it's not like I'm some stick-thin runway model either🤣. I’ve got wider hips, which adds another layer to the struggle. That said, I’ve been really happy with the denim selection at Dorothy Perkins; they consistently carry sizes up to a US 16 or 18, which is roughly our 48 or 50 back home.
My mom is a bit more curvy, so I know where to look when I’m hunting for pieces for her—she usually wears a US 20 or 22. She actually finds the XL selection at C&A quite reliable; they have a great variety, nothing is overpriced, and you can find everything from basic tees to nicer tunics for under $35, $73, plus they have some lovely jackets... worth a look if you happen to be nearby, might find a little something.😍
Marks & Spencer is decent, though their inventory can be hit or miss sometimes. Personally, I think you get the best bang for your buck there during the clearance sales. Also, there's a decent selection of jeans and tees over at Big Bull (right above the grocery store in the Spanish District).
Anyway, I've gone on a bit of a tangent there. Hope this helps someone out somewhere.👍

So, we picked up these size 32 pants—yeah, total overkill for her—and she absolutely refuses to touch them. She tried them on once, felt totally grossed out by the fit, and now she’s insisting they look "old lady style." Honestly, I have no clue who to give them to or if I should just list them on Marketplace... she’s being so stubborn about it. To me, they're massive, but she's just being difficult—I mean, let's be real, she's being a bit irrational here. She should just wear whatever actually fits her, because they aren't even that bad. In fact, they're actually quite decent

Just post a picture of them, maybe someone here will take them off your hands. 😉 😉
I'm really hoping I can make it down to Target this week,
since I've only got two pairs of jeans, one other pair of slacks, and some shorts left.
If it actually starts snowing soon, I'm going to be stuck with nothing to wear. 🙄 🙄

There’s an ad down below for some clothes that are up for grabs—and honestly, if they’d actually kept the receipt, I probably would have traded them in for something else myself—but let’s be real, the receipt always ends up in the trash. 🙂
We picked up a pair of pants for her at Urban Republic—and yeah, I already posted about this—but they’ve already started fraying right between the thighs. It's because she has those chafing legs where they rub together when she walks, and honestly? It ruins every single pair of pants she owns.
I really don't want to spend my summer talking about breakouts and skin irritation—especially when I just want to wear a skirt or a breezy bodysuit without worrying about it.

I knew this was going to happen to me eventually..
well, before I even put my shoes on,
I just douse the inside of my thighs in baby powder
and suddenly, it stops happening...
same thing before bed, just powder up and everything feels fine.😍
honestly, I ruin them too.. especially the ones with way too much stretch.

I’ve been shopping exclusively at Maxima's for years now—honestly, I’ve only managed to ruin a single item, and even then, it took three or four solid years of wear. Sometimes I get lucky and all the stains just vanish—so I just toss it back in the wash.
Unfortunately, baby powder does absolutely nothing for me 😢—maybe for half an hour tops, but if I spend the whole day outside in a skirt, I’m coming home with chafing. That’s why in the summer, if I’m feeling a skirt, I just throw some bike shorts underneath 🥳.

What’s the absolute smallest size they carry at Maxyp? I don't think we actually managed to track down anything suitable for my sister there—the smallest thing I saw was a 46, if I recall correctly. Something like that.
I have to say, my jeans from Mustang have lasted an incredibly long time. I’ve actually had one pair for seven years now, and they’re my perfect length.
As for the longer ones, I ended up tossing them because they were just dragging on the floor and getting all frayed—it's the usual struggle, really, since I can't always find a 32, so I end up grabbing a 34 and then everything just goes sideways.

46 is practically my smallest size. I still remember the first time I walked in there—the sales clerk just looked me up and down and said, "We don't have anything small enough for you" 😍. I was rocking a size 12 back then, haha 😁.

See, that's the thing... I'm usually in a 10 or 12 myself, and in those plus-size stores, everything starts at a 14 or 16. Finding a decent 10 or 12 in regular shops? That’s like winning the lottery.🙄

finally made it over to C&A today 😍 😍
picked up some black skinny jeans, regular waist, for $50 🤣 🤣
size 42 😁
really wanted to grab some blue ones too, but couldn't find a 42 anywhere. I was basically swimming in a 44, and while the 40 felt okay, my legs just looked... weird in them 😲 😲
but honestly, I've been feeling pretty happy all day just because of this 😍

Did anyone else catch that movie Beauty Shop on ABC just now? 😲Man, those girls were—I don't know—just really easy on the eyes. 😍
(Not even joking, they were actually stunning!)
What was up with those skinny jeans, though?

Honestly, I think Queen Latifah has such a great sense of style.😁😁
It’s those skinny jeans that really do the trick for me. They make legs look so much slimmer—you know, how they taper down right at the ankle? That’s exactly what I need. My thighs are just... well, they're a struggle, but my lower legs and ankles look like they belong to someone else entirely. Everything else, like those bootcut styles, just feels way too baggy around the bottom. It’s like I could probably fit both my legs into a single pant leg if I tried.😁 😁
Anyway, here’s a visual to show you what I mean:

Ladies, if I may ask you something first... (I am not entirely acquainted with the rules of this Forum yet, so I wanted to survey the landscape before proceeding)🤷
What are your thoughts on me posting some photos of the items I have for sale, covering all sizes? I find it quite difficult to navigate the "clothing sales/trades..." thread because most of the listings are labeled "too small" for both me and our group, so I was thinking perhaps it would be more efficient and much clearer to post here instead. Or should I simply start an entirely new thread??
That is my opening inquiry... I believe this would be beneficial for everyone, but I certainly expect your feedback. 😁 😉
