Specifically, I’ve been hunting for Minnie and Mickey since the start of summer, but I haven't tracked them down in San Diego yet... at least nothing bigger than a Large. They had some at Target, but they were sold out—they only got one of each size in stock. 😢Maybe check online... 🙂

I spotted this one last night at the Mango in Westgate.

Ladies, did H&M's plus-size collection actually make its way into the Arena?

Besides Marks & Spencer, what else is worth hitting for the sales?

Heading over to Manga tomorrow to check those out in person... I'm worried they might be totally transparent, but these Evans ones are just everything. Honestly, I'm already bracing myself for the heartbreak because they're way out of my reach right now...😁

I have the one from the manga—though it's black, mind you. It’s translucent, yes, but not so much that you feel obligated to wear something underneath it. I haven't a clue what the white version is like.
As far as my black one goes, I have a bit of a grievance—it bled color all over me, even though, naturally, I washed it before wearing it. 😁

They seem to have them exclusively through my contact, from what I can tell... 🙂
Thanks for letting me know, I think I'll pass on it then... 😁

So, I’m a girl who wears a size 18 or larger—which, let's be honest, can make shopping a bit of a marathon. I was hunting for something to wear to a wedding recently, and I swear, I practically scoured the entire city looking for something that actually fit. I checked H&M, but they didn't carry anything beyond a size 14, and even then, their cuts seem to run incredibly small... it was frustrating. I even drove all the way out to the Avenue Mall to visit that boutique everyone seems to rave about www.ullapopken-america.hr/, but oh my goodness, the prices are just scandalous... and the selection? Honestly, it was pretty lackluster. They were asking up to $300 for a basic t-shirt—$167—which feels a bit much for something that couldn't be more plain if they tried. You could probably find something similar at a local flea market for a few bucks $40. Plus, they didn't really have any "dressy" options, and the staff didn't exactly go out of their way to help me at all (it was quite underwhelming, really). My absolute favorite place to shop is C&A—they have such a wonderful selection, and the staff there is genuinely helpful and kind... I always feel so comfortable there, both in terms of the styles and how the sizes actually fit my body. I also wanted to give a shout-out to two other shops. First, Marks & Spencer—their location is fantastic with a huge variety, and the people working there are just lovely; they truly try their best to assist you and don't judge you one bit when you mention your size. Their range goes from elegant dresses to everyday essentials, and while the prices are a little higher, trust me, the quality makes it worth every penny... it's night and day compared to Ullapopken! If you have the time, I highly recommend checking them out. The second place is TEREZA XXL on Kapucinska Street. That’s where I’ll be heading from now on (mostly because it’s closer to home!), and they have an amazing selection of formal wear. The prices are on the higher side, but you can definitely negotiate—I managed to talk them down on a dressy top from $110 to just $100, and it fits me so perfectly that I don't regret it one bit. Anyway, I hope this helps some of you out! And please, don't ever feel ashamed of your weight or your body. We are who we are. If people want to accept us, great; if not, well, they're missing out! I don't stress too much about diets—even though, I'll admit, I probably should—but I just love to eat. Not that I'm overindulging constantly, mind you, but I really enjoy life, and sweets and pastries are my absolute obsession...!!!!!

ps. I also popped into the Kmart over in Dubrava; the selection was decent—nothing mind-blowing, but okay—and the prices were reasonable too!

When I need something "classic," like a coat for a wedding or something similar, NAMA is my absolute go-to here in the States. Most of the time, though, I just stick to places like C&A, Takkou, or H&M.

Luckily, those shops are available where I live too. I still remember being twenty years old and having to wear those baggy maternity pants just to find something in my size. Good grief...

Hit the Westgate Mall today—hit up H&M, C&A, and Marks & Spencer.
H&M? Total waste of time. Their "mature" section is just overpriced, shapeless rags that hang off you weirdly.
And those "sale" items? Most of them look like they’ve been gathering dust since last year—or maybe the year before. Just stale stuff hanging on racks for months.
C&A's discounts are a joke. Like, a maxi skirt marked down from 150 to $40, or a linen blazer from $133 to $100... give me a break.
Marks & Spencer is still my absolute go-to.
They actually have sales up to 70%—even more on winter gear.
Grabbed two sweaters from their Cashmilion line for just $13 each—they were originally $53.
Plenty of stock left, too, even in larger sizes up to a US 16.
Their workwear section has gorgeous blouses and trousers up to a US 18, all at half price.
That dress I’ve been eyeing—waiting for it to drop from $227—is finally down to $110.
Also, a 5-pack of underwear is now $20, down from $43. They fit me perfectly.
Seriously. Love them.
Swimsuits and cover-ups are half off, too. Great selection, plus you can buy tops and bottoms separately.
Huge win for me, since I usually need two sizes smaller on the bottom than the top.
Plus, the bra clasps are actual metal, not that cheap plastic crap that snaps instantly. And the straps are decent—wider and padded.
A bikini top like that goes for $43. I've seen much lower quality versions at Victoria's Secret for $117 or even more.
Their cotton and linen tees—or whatever blends they use—are between $10 and 50. Honestly, a steal because the fabric is top-tier.
I’ve been wearing their tees for years.

Finally found some cute tailored trousers that don't look like carrot pants. Mango Violeta 🙂 (online only). Sizes 46, 48, and up actually fit true to size. They're gorgeous, high quality, and perfect for work or anything more formal. They have a sale going on right now, so I got mine for $56.

Hi everyone, I’m so glad I stumbled upon you all and this thread.
I’m an XXL myself, a true 48. I usually pick up my basics at Target or Old Navy, and I order from ASOS.

I’ve never actually ordered anything online before, so if there’s a kind soul planning an order soon, could you please reach out? I’ll happily cover the commission, of course.

By the way, the sizing at ASOS works pretty well for me; their 48 is just right. I also grab my lingerie there—the bras fit great and have nice, thick straps.
My struggle is shoes. My feet tend to widen, especially when they swell. When they aren't swollen, a standard size 8 fits, but once they puff up, I have to jump to a 9.

Do any of you shop on Poshmark, eBay, or Mercari? I try to find deals there, but I always end up getting burned because so many sellers don't actually know how to take accurate measurements. It makes me give up on those sites, even though I sell things myself.

Does anyone know if there's an M&S in Los Angeles?

Again, if anyone is placing an order soon, please let me know.

What is BP? 🙂

For wide feet—tons of online shops carry "wide fit" shoes, both dressy and casual, so they'll actually be comfortable for wider feet. Even Next carries an extra wide option.

I don't think there's an M&S in Seattle, at least I haven't seen one.
