I’ve been wondering, is there actually a secondhand shop in the city that buys clothes outright?
So far, I’ve scouted out a few spots—places over on Main Street, maybe somewhere near the downtown district, or tucked away in those residential neighborhoods—but honestly, none of them seem interested in buying stock directly from you. They all just want to trade or take donations.

Where can I pick up some sandpaper? Just the most basic kind, nothing fancy, no branding or labels on the packaging.

@silenttrucker67: I mean, you probably won't make anything from it—we don't really have that kind of system set up here yet, as far as I know... stuff usually just gets bought abroad and resold over here.
If the stuff is actually trash—maybe you could donate it to an animal shelter? I guess little dogs and cats always need bedding or something.
Now, if it’s in great shape, or brand new/never worn, or even just gently used—you might want to try some local classified sites. There's already a clothing thread here, and maybe check if you're allowed to start a 'giving away' thread too—because honestly, there are people on this forum who really value any scrap of clothing that's still in good condition...

@gentlehound9: It depends on what size you're looking for, but I once picked up a half-liter glass bottle at Walmart—though I'm not sure if they even carry those anymore.
If you're in a big city like Chicago, you could try checking out a Target—maybe the kitchenware section? I think it's on the second floor, north side; or maybe near the downtown area, I can't quite remember.
Or maybe look around that old shopping street near the central plaza—there's a general store over there that carries all sorts of things, and I think there are a couple of shops nearby that stock glass bottles... they might even have mugs, maybe on the corner near the pharmacy.

Where in the States can I actually find some decent Sake? Ideally somewhere in the Seattle area, but I’m willing to look elsewhere if needed. If anyone knows a reliable spot, please let me know. Thanks.

Yeah... obviously I’ve been there, twice in the last six months alone 😛
but they don't have them anymore—and honestly, they probably never will again. 😢

Does anyone actually know if they're available somewhere? Or maybe someone here would be willing to sell them? 😁

So, I'm totally feeling the same way here—honestly, I’d give just about anything to get my hands on one of those 🙂 😁

I think I spotted it once at a Whole Foods. You might want to check there, though I honestly can't vouch for how good it actually is. 🤷

Which Bio & Bio store are we talking about? What city? Give me some actual details, please. 😁

That's gotta be the spot, right? I'm heading over there tomorrow to check it out. Thanks, redridge...5 🙂 😍

Does anyone happen to know—is there somewhere (and where specifically) I can purchase a children's telescope?

When I say telescope, I am referring to an actual, genuine telescope designed for viewing, not some silly little child's toy that just projects pictures or whatever it is they sell...

And by "children's," I mean I need it in a specific color scheme or aesthetic suitable for a little girl... perhaps pink, purple, colorful, or something along those lines...

Does anyone have any ideas?

Regarding Kineza—I noticed they have the five-pointed star version, so maybe they carry the pink one too😁

What was it again... a genuine, bona fide telescope...?

No, that's simply not the case. If you were to actually look through his perspective, you would see nothing but Barbie and Ken. 😬

Sorry, I know this isn't really what this forum is about, but I’ve got a quick question for you all because I honestly can't find the answer anywhere else... does anyone know where I can pick up those crazy good Halloween props?? I'm putting together a huuuuge party and I'm totally lost on where to find everything.

Thanks...

Does anyone know if there's anywhere in the States where I can pick up some Shellys Rangers boots? Looking for the men's version, maybe size 10 or 14.

Depends on where you’re located.
For instance, if you're in a major hub like Chicago, you could check out a specialized outfit like Bass Pro Shops. They carry everything: hunting gear, fishing tackle, firearms, ammo, crossbows, bows, and high-end brands like Beretta, Browning, Stoeger, or Sabatella.
Those boots should be in stock there.

By the way, you'd find an identical setup if you were out near a suburb like Naperville or somewhere along the main highway interchanges.
I think they're around there.

As long as they have them, I can always make the drive to the city. Thanks!

EDIT: It was Nada Sport... 😉

EDIT 2: They don't carry Shellys.😢 😢

So, yeah. Still looking for those Shellys Rangers boots.
