Where can I find, buy, or... "borrow" these? (Mega-thread) :D

Does anyone know where I can pick up some pipe tobacco around town? And hey, please explain it to me like I’m five... give me the exact spots and tell me what I actually need to look out for when I'm buying stuff 😁.
Even better if someone happens to know where to find the good stuff over in Chicago.

...I'm looking to pick up some "small" plastic soldiers 😕

I've been scouring various "spots" and toy stores, even checking out those local dollar stores, but it seems like they only ever carry the "large" plastic soldiers everywhere I go.

And what exactly counts as small versus large?

Mine are about two or three inches tall—little soldiers... just got a whole bagful of them recently... the kid can't even remember the name of the shop in Cleveland where his dad picked them up... but I could probably track it down if it matters..

Still, you’d think they’d actually stock stuff like this in regular toy stores...

You can find them at Target, though I actually spotted some at the local shop back in my hometown recently. So yeah, they’re definitely stocked in NYC too.
The little snack packs—they totally gave me major childhood nostalgia. Honestly, I almost grabbed a bunch myself.🙂

Anyway, I haven't heard anyone else mention them being "soldier snacks," but those tiny little things always remind me of being on military duty when I was a kid.😁

So, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can pick up some playing cards featuring old images of New York City. this is what I found online, but I'm actually looking for those vintage ones—I don't know if anyone even remembers them—that featured the cathedral; I can't quite recall what the other cards looked like.
Any helpful info would be appreciated. 😍

I swung by the Millennium gift shop earlier thinking they might have one in stock, but they were completely out, and if anyone could point me toward a place that actually carries them without charging an absolute fortune, I would be incredibly grateful...

I actually picked one up a few months back at the CMOK over on Ilic way—near the Austrian embassy area—for about $53 🥳. My main question is, does anyone know if they still have them in stock?

Man, when I headed over there last time, they actually had a bunch of them sitting on the shelf, but they flew off the shelves super fast 🤣.. Honestly though, those things are such a blast to mess with, definitely one of my favorite desk toys👍

You can find those little Nescafe packets at a local Walgreens.
The catch is you can't just grab a single packet; you have to buy the whole box of Nescafe. So, getting both together will run you about 50-$23 I guess.

They actually have a promotion running at Walmart right now—if you buy $50 worth of Nescafe products, you get that mug😉 For higher spending tiers, they give out better stuff, all the way up to water kettles. You just rack up the receipts, and if I recall correctly, it runs through the end of November.

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find a dishwasher plate rack? Ours cracked in one spot and now it’s basically useless. Should I be looking for this through the manufacturer's service department? 😳

That’s an Adidas, right? If you're in downtown Chicago, try checking out the sports shop over on Michigan Avenue—I can't recall the exact name off the top of my head—right near the start of the block, just past where you turn from the Hilton, on the right side (the bookstore and the music shop are on the left).

Is it actually that specific one? Because I jumped on a similar deal once, but the mug was clear—and looking at what's in Kroger, they have the regular coffee, but you only get the red one if... well, the Nescafe logo isn't on the side like in the photo, it's just printed straight on.😢 Honestly, I’d just take the one from a diner...🙂

Just so you know, I literally ran down from the top floor just to grab last week's Target circular and scan the part I was sure about for you. 😁 The only thing I messed up was the end date—it actually runs through November 30th. 😉
