Thinking about picking up some travel pillows—you know, the kind to prop your head up when you're trying to sleep in a seat. Samsonite is way out of my budget. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I’m looking for a simple money clip for cash and cards. I know it's called a "money clip" in English, but does anyone know where I can pick one up here in the States? Thanks! 😁

$6.75 Check out Dick's Sporting Goods. You can even find them at gas stations sometimes.

You can usually find them at local drugstores, and if I remember correctly, they shouldn't cost more than about twenty bucks.

Does anyone know where I can pick up some underarm pads? Nothing too pricey, ideally 😉
I have a couple of places in mind—maybe check out some local drugstores—but I feel like hunting them down might be a bit much since they're mostly a summer thing, right? So, if anyone's spotted any lately, let me know 🙂

Try the sporting goods section at Target.

Does anyone happen to know where I can track down a Scrat plushie—you know, that squirrel from Ice Age? I’m looking specifically here in the city.
Also, I was wondering if there’s a photo studio in town where you can bring in your own prints and have them professionally set inside those snow globe displays?
Thanks.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a pedometer around town? Looking for something mid-range, nothing crazy expensive or dirt cheap, maybe somewhere around $33. Thanks.

Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up a Penkal pen? I tried calling the office at TOZ, but I can't seem to get anyone on the line...🤷
It's kind of urgent, too! And if anyone knows roughly how much they cost, thank you so much!

Maybe try checking at Barnes & Noble. Or a decent bookstore. Or maybe even Target.

Where can I buy a poker set in Los Angeles that looks just like the one in the photo, and does anyone know the price?
Many thanks

Best regards

Not exactly a lightning-fast reply, didn't see the post until now. You can grab the exact same set at the Metro in LA for under $100—should be the same thing at the Metro in San Diego.

First off, my apologies to anyone who’s going to feel the need to call me out for this later.

Just this one single post, I promise. It's the holiday season, and if I could ask one thing, it would be for you all to be a little empathetic and realize how much this means to me.
I’m genuinely looking for a beautiful, cozy, stress-free, and—obviously—sweet holiday experience, and for that, I really need

Where can I pick this up? Specifically, I’m hunting for the gingerbread man profile.

I’m not really the type to wander aimlessly through stores or spend hours browsing aisles; I’d much rather just get straight to the point and get things done.🙂

If this works out, there will be cookies for everyone!

Best wishes and happy holidays to you all!

There’s actually a thread about it over in the food forum. Some of the girls there were mentioning where they found those kinds of molds.

Whereabouts in the city could I track down some keychains for my car keys? Something for an Opel, a Škoda, or similar brands.

I’ve already wandered through a handful of local shops, but none of them seem to carry anything remotely useful.

I remember seeing some Christmas molds like these on sale at Walmart recently.🙂

Check out the Avenue Mall. There’s a department store there called Galileo.
They'll have basic metal ones or even gold-plated versions... Not sure about the price tag, but you could definitely snag a better deal on eBay. 🙂

Does anyone know where I could pick up an electronic chess set here in the city—you know, an actual board with pieces where you can play against a computer? I’m looking for something tactile because I’m tired of absolutely destroying my eyesight staring at a laptop screen all day.
I've already wasted my time checking around Best Buy, Target, and even some local specialty shops... but nothing. Total dead end.😢
thanks
