No such thing exists. There aren't even any pools there, just a creek running through. Even in the area where the hot springs should be, nothing. Keep looking.

Dear Mr. Nalc, how kind of you. But the point isn't where to find it; I wasn't looking for a geography lesson.

Hey, does anyone know where I can pick up some silicone that actually holds up to crazy high temps? Looking for something north of 200-300°C.

I went to Bauhaus. I bought silicone for my oven there. It's the only thing that turned out black.

🙏

Doesn't matter if it's black. Honestly, I'm also hunting for a black adhesive that can actually handle high heat.

Lately, I’ve been seeing more and more people cruising around town on those single-wheeled things:

Does anyone happen to know the specific name for these scooters here in the States? I suppose I could try searching for "monowheel scooter" or maybe "single wheel scooter," but I haven't really found anything useful that looks like it would be available for purchase in our neck of the woods... so, what is the actual term for them? Or, if someone knows, where might one actually go to buy one? 😁

I haven't seen that back home, but I did spot it in Canada. They refer to it as an urban circle.

China, China, and nothing but China...
China

And here we go again, China once more.

What kind of hellish cinema is this?
Why bother buying from China when you can shop locally for the exact same price? It used to be simple—you’d just drive over to Canada and pick it up there rather than ordering some random junk off AliExpress. You get an actual warranty versus those questionable Chinese ones. I don't even want to think about how much shipping would cost just to send something back to China for repairs.

$257 = €444? Where on earth did they get those numbers from?
I’m not entirely sure if you actually clicked the link, but it looks like they offer direct shipping to Italy without any extra customs fees or duties, which would then make the transit to the States much smoother. They probably have some sort of service or warranty in place for that kind of thing, too...
I managed to stumble upon this after just two minutes of digging around online, and I’m fairly certain there are plenty of other shops out there that might even offer better prices...

$444? You’re comparing a top-tier product from Canada—which is significantly better than anything coming out of China—to some cheap knockoff. They share similar specs and price points. If you scroll down, you’ll see options in Canada for around $248 that have the exact same characteristics as the Chinese models you found.
Regarding shipping... there is a massive difference between having an item sent to you here in the States and being forced to ship it all the way back to China if it breaks. Go ask the folks at the local FedEx or UPS office how much a return shipment to China would actually cost you.

I’m wondering if anyone here actually knows where you can pick this up somewhere...

Check out Jakuševac! (ha, you probably have zero clue what that even is, so you didn't bother asking where I'm from!)

Since I’m moving house pretty soon, does anyone know where I can track down or just buy some of that bubble wrap to pack up an LCD screen so it doesn't get trashed during the move? Or is there actually a better way to protect it than that?

Greetings, everyone.
Does anyone know where I might find some decent 70x140cm shower towels in the greater Los Angeles area? Ideally, they would need to be capable of withstanding a 90°C wash cycle.

If you’re hitting up the Euro Mix or grabbing stuff at Kika or Kroger—honestly, just watch out for those products that feel like they're made of eighty percent cotton and ten percent cheap fake leather. It’s a trap. You’re better off sticking to the basic white ones; they actually last—but hey, if you want some color, go for it, they hold up okay enough. You can find decent options at Lidl too, though they aren't always stocked—keep an eye on their weekly circulars if you want to save a buck.

Does anyone know where I can pick up those little door hangers—you know, the ones that hang off the handle and say "Do Not Disturb" or whatever?

You could go for that classic hotel vibe—you know, the kind with the fancy little lace patterns or subtle textures—or maybe something a bit more upscale. For the first option, honestly, just sketch out what you want or find a decent image online, take it to a local print shop or a FedEx Office, and get it printed and laminated however you like. It won’t break the bank, either. As for the second idea, you can pretty much hunt those down yourself by hitting up some home decor spots. I’m talking places like Target, HomeGoods, or even the aisles at Home Depot if you're looking for that specific aesthetic.
