Does anyone have experience with Gap jeans, and what kind of pricing are we looking at?

I've definitely picked up some! Honestly, just like everything else from GAP, I've had nothing but good vibes with them. The denim is solid—super high quality and they actually last a while, which is huge. As for prices... I'm not totally sure what they're charging over there right now, but back home in the States, I usually paid $50 or more. Though, pro tip: if you catch them on sale, that's when you really score!

Does anyone know where I can find denim jeans that actually look like dress pants? You know—the kind with that sleek, polished finish but still sitting low on the hips?

Ever checked out Mango lately? Found these on their site...

I was over at Target the other day and spotted some that I thought would be perfect—but those were high-waisted 😢 I’m not sure if they’re the exact ones in this photo, but there’s another similar style (not the high-waisted ones) that the clerk told me they didn't have in stock over at the mall location.

I checked out those ones at Macy's in New York—didn't really hit me that deep... maybe browse their site and see if they have anything else.
Or just grab any pair of jeans and iron some lines into them 😬

but they really need to be wider—like, a more relaxed cut—so you can actually get a decent crease in them with an iron.
mango probably carries more styles, but you won't find the full lineup here in town.😢

Has anyone actually dealt with Levi's jeans before? I tried on a pair that fits perfectly—they have 2% elastane—but I've never pulled the trigger on buying them. Will they lose their shape and bag out on me?

By the way, they’re running a 40% off sale at X stores right now on everything.

Which lion we're talking about here... is this a sentiment shared by everyone in the Big Apple, or just a select few?

So, I finally pulled the trigger and picked up my first pair of Diesel jeans today, and honestly, they’re actually pretty incredible.
I managed to snag number 27.
I’m sitting here genuinely wondering if I’m going to pop a button on these things because they feel incredibly tight, and honestly, that size 28 didn't sit nearly as well on me as the 27 did.
I gave it my all for them. $300 If I fail that, then what’s the point? It feels like if I miss this mark, everything else just falls apart, too.

Has anyone here who’s actually put in some serious time with Diesel Trap kits dealt with this before? I’m starting to wonder if the buttons are just destined to pop off once they hit a certain point, especially when they start feeling a bit too snug around the hips.

Where can I find some affordable jeans right now? Ideally under $300 $133. Something that actually looks decent, too. I'm really not looking to break the bank...

Thanks.🙂

On a side note, I noticed those Miss Sixty jeans were marked down at the mall.

There are some available here $210--> http://www.misssixty.com/item/store/...O/areaid//sts/

plus a few other blue pairs, though I can't quite recall the exact price tag.

Elastic
either straight or on the bias
dark blue
not faded, not ripped, just clean—nothing fancy
and hopefully not costing me a hundred bucks
Where should I look?

We found some at a Mustang dealership, but they were priced like they had 700 horsepower under the hood... is there seriously nothing more affordable out there?

Maybe you should check out Lee's? I usually pick up my jeans at the local mall from them. They're actually pretty solid quality. I've been wearing one pair of theirs for three seasons now, I guess.

The stuff I tried on at Mustang—and yeah, they are Lee—but they come out $250 something like 🤷
I was really hoping for something a bit more budget-friendly, honestly. All my jeans are usually under $300, maybe $133 tops, and I wear them for years—but they always end up looking worn out, ripped, or just kind of "funky" rather than looking like a "serious" outfit.

I’m looking for some honest recommendations for jeans that won't compress my backside... I don't quite know how to put this into words... I usually wear a size 27 or 28, which fits me perfectly in most places. But whenever I turn around, it feels like the fabric just squeezes everything down—almost like it’s trying to flatten me out rather than let things sit naturally.

I once owned a pair of Levi's that were absolutely perfect. They draped over my body like a second skin; they gave my backside enough room to breathe without being baggy or losing its shape, but without that suffocating squeeze either. Unfortunately, it seems like they just don't make them like that anymore😢...

In my opinion, the issue isn't necessarily about how much stretch or elastane is in the denim, but rather the actual cut of the garment. It's not even that I have an unusually large figure for my size; it's just that I can't seem to find a decent pair of jeans anywhere lately...

So, does anyone have any advice on what specific styles or brands I should be hunting for? Ideally, I'm looking for something that actually fits well without costing a small fortune like pure gold.

@Jamie Lee67 - I honestly think you might just have a pocket issue—like, if they’re too big or sitting too low, they kind of "squish" things in the back, at least that’s how it feels for me.

It isn't just about how they look visually; the fit is incredibly flattering, hugging my curves perfectly—and I’ve even had 😁 double-check from the side profile to confirm. Honestly, looking back at those old Levi's, it feels like it's been at least six years since I stumbled upon a pair of denim that actually fits this well.

I still feel like if you look at it from the side, the fit just isn't there—especially because of the pockets. When they sit too low, it kind of messes with the silhouette and makes that bottom curve look totally lost 🤷
