It's the exact same deal now.

1. When you're sending money, it’s way too vague about which card you're actually pulling from. It’s incredibly easy to accidentally send funds from the wrong account—it happened to me... They really need to add a mandatory selection step if you have multiple cards linked, rather than just defaulting to whatever you used last. Or, at the very least, instead of just showing those last four digits at the top of the screen, they should display the actual card name. Most people don't walk around memorizing their full card numbers...
2. On the receiving end, if you have more than one account set up, the app should definitely ask where you want the cash to land instead of just dumping it into your primary account by default. As it stands, you have to designate a primary account ahead of time, but since you rarely know the exact second someone is going to hit "send," it’s easy to end up with the money hitting the wrong account (yeah, that happened to me too)

Honestly, I have no clue why there's any connection between Bugarin and Canada.
edit: Same exact thing happening with my iCard vis.
I know iCard acts as the issuer for Venmo too. By the way, does anyone know when Venmo will be fully integrated into iCard?
ironcyclist58 said:Just a heads-up, if you try using non-EEA cards to top up on Chime, they’re going to hit you with a fee (though they should give you a warning first).

Venmo cards actually use a Bulgarian country BIN, so they aren't considered non-EEA and you don't get hit with fees. Usually, when it comes to topping up with non-EEA cards, the fine print says Chime MIGHT charge a fee rather than saying they definitely WILL—and in reality, they often don't end up charging anything at all (like with certain Mexican cards, for example).

Jerry Wilson5 said:Hey,
thanks for the feedback, we'll chat about these suggestions internally. Not making any promises, obviously, but both points seem totally valid to me. I'm leaning toward adding them as optional settings you can toggle on if you want, like:
- “always prompt to select a card when sending” and
- “always confirm destination account for incoming funds”
mistydrifter56 said:If the whole 3D Secure thing is getting on your nerves, you might want to give PayPal a shot. It’s pretty solid—you just link your card to your account and pay from there, plus there aren't any extra fees.
I know this is technically off-topic, but I figured I'd try to help out.

I don't really use the request feature much, but if the funds from that request land in the chosen account regardless of any changes made to the primary account in the meantime, that might be a partial fix for my issue...
mistydrifter56 said:I don't know, I’d probably just give it a shot and see what happens... I’ve been using my Chase Mastercard and it goes through without any 3D Secure prompts. I actually used it to pay for parking just this morning.
