PayPal stopped asking me those questions a few months back. I don't move much money, but it seems like Venmo doesn't bother either when I send a payment. Are they actually allowed to skip that? They should at least integrate Google Pay transfers. 😁

After a while—once you hit a certain dollar amount or enough transactions go through—they’ll stop bugging you for a new card. Right now, they aren't asking me for anything at all.

I’ve made about 50 payments using this same card over the last six months. Every single time the bill hits, I just pay the balance immediately. Hopefully, their system remembers my CVV before I lose my mind.🙂

It’s probably just a matter of the dollar amount. My bank stops flagging things after a few transactions, but we're talking serious money here...

I guess they think that even if you don't ask, they don't store the CVV—they just decide to swallow the risk instead.

Maybe the transaction amounts are part of the issue. I’m getting hit with a bunch of smaller deposits—$200, $300, maybe $500—but rarely anything north of a grand. Just my luck, right?

It might actually be a banking thing. Whenever I try to move funds from JPMorgan Chase over to Chime, it always kicks me straight into the Chime app to authorize the transfer via an "add money" prompt. It’s like they aren't even looking at the CVV anymore; instead, they've added this extra layer of security where you have to confirm everything directly through the app itself.

Honestly, it all just comes down to which bank you’re using and what kind of card you’ve got in your wallet. I personally run both a Visa and a Maestro. With the Visa, I never deal with any of this headache, but that Maestro? It’s always giving me trouble...

Is anyone else having issues with the Delta SkyMiles app? For the past week, I haven't been able to even get into it. It just gets stuck on a red screen with the logo and won't budge...

It's working fine for me, knock on wood.

Everything looks fine on my end too. Maybe try clearing your cache or just go ahead and reinstall if all else fails...

I finally got it running, but man, it’s a slow burn. First, I just get stuck staring at that red splash screen with the logo. I have to let it sit for about a minute, then force close the app and relaunch it—I usually have to do that two or three times before anything happens. Then it asks for my fingerprint, and after that, I'm just sitting there for another three or four minutes waiting for the app to actually load 😵.
Once it finally opens, though, everything seems to work fine.
Maybe you could try clearing your cache...

That happened to me once too, even with other apps. It’s almost always a cache issue... 🙂

Ran into a couple of minor bugs while messing around with the app so far:

1. When you generate those PDF payment confirmations, if the bill description is too long, the text just gets cut off in the PDF.

2. Also, when trying to pay cash by scanning a barcode, the scanner struggles if the screen isn't bright enough. I recently started using the Shell Go+ app, and they actually fixed this—the screen brightness just cranks itself up to max automatically whenever a barcode pops up.

Small stuff, I guess, but honestly pretty annoying.

Quick question—did anyone else get physical mail sent to their home address after they finished the ID verification process with Delta SkyMiles?
My permanent residence is out in Napa Valley, but I’m currently living in Washington, D.C., so I’m just trying to figure out if I should be looking for a paper trail at my old place or if everything stays digital.

Like, for example?

For instance, you've got the whole user agreement for the digital wallet and all that stuff.

I've never had anything sent to me through the mail.
