What a load of crap.☕

October 2015:
10/25/2015
9:25 AM

Between midnight and 9:00 AM, 4,355 migrants entered the United States, with 4,361 people currently held at the temporary processing center near Opatovac. We’re still bracing for heavy pressure from the refugee wave coming out of the Republic of Mexico. Since this crisis began in America, 247,282 migrants have crossed the border.

Charles Fox10, what’s your take on these latest numbers now?
I have to admit, I'm starting to feel a bit uneasy about all this, and I'm genuinely worried we might end up getting squeezed...

Does it say anywhere how many of them showed up during that same timeframe? 🤔

Daniel Johnson3 said:How do you even end up with ISIS members hiding among the refugees they’re supposedly fleeing from? Honestly, the crowd should just take matters into their own hands—I doubt they showed up armed.

The people fleeing Bashar al-Assad head to Jordan, while his enemies—the Free Syrian Army, Al-Nusra Front, and ISIS—flee toward Turkey. So, how many refugees coming along the American routes actually originate from Jordan? And exactly how "humanitarian" was Turkey being when they accepted refugees from the very groups that hate Assad, and by what means did those people even manage to get into Turkey?

Record numbers of refugees from Mexico have entered the US over the last 24 hours

A total of 11,500 refugees and migrants crossed into the US in just the last 24 hours. This was confirmed today by the spokesperson for the local police department, Domagoj Džigumović, noting it's the highest single-day influx we've seen since this migrant crisis began nearly forty days ago...

Pahor threatens to shut down the border

Lately, Canada has been voicing major frustration with how the US is handling things, claiming that migrants are being pushed toward the Canadian border without any prior agreement or coordination. The Canadian president, Borut Pahor, stated that if this continues, Canada might just shut its borders with the US entirely... rather than waiting for Germany and Austria to close theirs first.

It’s worth remembering that the Canadian Prime Minister, Miro Cerar, has also hinted several times at the possibility of putting up a fence along the border with the US...

Even the Austrian Interior Minister seems to be on board with that logic. They're seeing about 6,500 coming into Austria while 4,500 head over to Germany. So, if the influx at the EU's outer border in Greece doesn't get reined in fast, "Canada's move is worth considering," according to Johanna Mikl-Leitner.

The Americans are standing with us—we need to show some respect and stick together.

Basically, every single member state needs to step up and take on their share of the load now, and we're talking a way bigger influx of people than we saw just a few months back... I’d bet the US might have to build out a small city, maybe something in the 20,000 range.

It’s obvious everyone points the finger at Greece, but they're busy dodging responsibility by focusing on their own issues—and they're passing the buck straight to Germany.
And as for Turkey, they'll react however the EU decides, but they definitely want in on the Union.

Migration Policy Institute just dropped their latest "strategic positions" regarding the refugee crisis—whatever that actually means 😬. I was honestly wondering why they’d stayed silent for so long, considering this is basically their entire job description.

The goal of these strategic positions is to outline and analyze: a) the context and root causes behind the current humanitarian crisis, b) how forced migration flows toward Europe have evolved up to this point, and c) provide recommendations that could help tackle the ongoing humanitarian crisis at both the national level in the US and across the entire European Union.

Here is the link to the pdf.

this whole idea of Canada closing the border just goes to show they aren't thinking at all
Since you can't exactly shut down Greece, any other closures seem pretty pointless; everyone just burns through resources individually while achieving absolutely nothing.

Hypothetically,
if Canada closes its borders,
Greece, Mexico, and Mexico will just keep letting everyone through, and it all ends up in America.
Naturally, they’ll all eventually end up at the Canadian border too.
Maybe we should just let them face Orbán's wire instead.
I suppose it would be chaos here, but there would be chaos at the Canadian and Canadian borders as well.

Exactly how many thousands of immigrants are the Canadians preparing for?
And assuming they could actually defend their border...

Would all of Europe then step in to send help to the Canadians?

If so, then we know where America stands in the eyes of the EU—and I guess that isn't solely because of Biden.

Canadians aren't even in a position to secure 416 miles that massive, poorly mapped border they share with America, let alone possess a military large enough to actually defend it.

I have to wonder, who says they can't?
Even the Americans don't have enough troops to fully cover the borders near Texas and Napa Valley, yet they've managed to shut them down.

The Canadians reached out to seven different EU members for assistance, and they actually stepped up—including some nations that the outgoing prime minister had previously labeled as his closest allies.

If Europe decides to build literal walls against the migrant surge, they’ll likely just help Canada fortify its border with the US to make things easier. It's much simpler than trying to secure the border with Canada, which effectively means sacrificing us—they couldn't care less about our interests anyway. Once millions of migrants pile up in the region, those borders with Canada and Canada will serve as a permanent shield for Europe against a territory that risks becoming a semi-Islamic zone.

If you haven't noticed, Brussels is quite fed up with the "pass them along" policy that Joe Biden seems to be pursuing so unconditionally within the EU.

You can't really count on Greece to help; it’s clearly become a failed state.

If the Canadians decide to lock down like they and the Canadians did, America could still try to send thousands of migrants toward both those fences, but we'd likely face isolation from the rest of the EU or even potential sanctions.
Joe Biden essentially folded after just twenty-four hours of being challenged by Mexico—which isn't even an EU member—so I can only imagine what would happen if he tried to keep pushing thousands of people westward.

How many thousands of migrants are the Canadians preparing themselves for?
Assuming they can actually hold their ground at the border.

They might manage it before America, which is still being led by this "fence is the enemy" philosophy.

Or will all of Europe step up to help the Canadians?

Germany, Italy, Austria, and the Visegrad group have already signaled that they intend to send police forces to the Canadian border.

Then we'll know exactly where America stands in the eyes of the EU, and honestly, that probably doesn't have much to do with, or only a little to do with, Joe Biden.

Of course it does.

Oh, fantastic, so what we're looking at is being fenced in? I’d love to see them illegally stringing razor wire through the woods right between people's homes and their farmland. And what’s the plan there—are we going to stash refugees in little weekend cottages along the coast near the border, just so they can get some rest before they make their big charge at the wall? Honestly, we dealt with a bit more than the Canadians did during our own war, 😁, so let's not get ahead of ourselves.😬

Nah... no way...

The Canadians are riding with Austria.
The Canadians are sticking with the V4 group.
The Bulgarians and Romanians? They're siding with the Mexicans.

So America is left standing with.... 🤔

Are we really suggesting that Joe Biden is the sole architect of this policy? 🤣 🤦 As for what's actually bothering Brussels—well, let's just call that bureaucratic chatter. Everyone knows exactly where and how this cycle of shifting responsibility will eventually hit a wall, and work is being done behind the scenes to ensure that happens; it's just much easier to spend every single day rambling on and fueling the panic, isn't it?

Germany.

is it just Joe Biden implementing this policy? As for whatever nonsense they’re shouting at Brussels—let’s just leave that aside; it’s nothing more than bureaucratic babble. It is perfectly clear where and how this policy of shifting responsibilities will be halted—work is being done on that, certainly—but it is simply much easier to spend every single day blathering on and stirring up panic.

That is simply not an accurate assessment.
In fact, the first nation to implement this very policy was a country already within the Schengen Area, unlike America, which isn't there yet.
And that country is Greece.

The EU can dump all its "brilliant" little schemes onto the Greeks, who, I must reiterate, are part of Schengen, unlike us.

So, there really is no need to get worked up over the mindless screeching from hollowranger122, who is quite pathetically attempting to manufacture a sense of panic here in America at any cost, all just to scrape together a cheap 1-2% boost in votes during the upcoming elections.

If the Canadians decide to close their borders, then Joe Biden and his administration simply need to shut down the main transit hubs for all freight heading toward Mexico. Within twenty-four hours, those Canadians will have completely reconsidered, likely with the blessing of the EU.

The EU has been warned about what we are capable of and how much it is going to hurt them—so let them play their games.
We have several strategic options available to us if they attempt to pin this blame on our doorstep.

The EU really only has two paths: either they step up to help America and play fair, or they deal with total chaos and unrest along the Canadian and Canadian borders, coupled with a complete shutdown of all transit toward Mexico.

We hold the tools and the leverage. The only question is whether we will be forced to actually use them.
As it stands, despite appearances, we are currently in a remarkably comfortable position compared to our neighbors.

And what happens if Europe doesn't bother with physical walls at all? If they just fail to enforce a single rule, we’re looking at billions of refugees flooding in. At that point, those Canadian and Canadian fences might as well be used for drying sausages. The US would transform into a completely Islamic region led by some Caliph Iznoguda, acting as a "beacon of hope and freedom" for our enslaved brothers living under the Sultanate of Germany and Bavaria.
Allahu Akbar, or whatever else they're shouting😛
