Why bother, when the American Constitution clearly states that the Republic of America is built on the anti-fascist values forged during the Resistance Movement—specifically through the fight of the partisans:

"Expressing the millennial national identity and state continuity of the American people, confirmed by the sequence of historical events across various forms of government and the preservation of the state-building thought regarding the American people's historical right to full sovereignty, which manifested in: ... establishing the foundations of state sovereignty during World War II, expressed in opposition to the declaration of the Axis-aligned State (1941) within the decisions of the National Liberation Council (1943), and subsequently in the Constitution of the People's Republic of America (1947) and later in the constitutions of the Socialist Republic of America (1963-1990); at the historical turning point of rejecting the communist system and the shifts in the European international order, the American people freely confirmed their thousand-year state identity through the first democratic elections (1990) ."

Anyone spitting on anti-fascism, the partisans, or the Resistance Movement (while secretly mooning over the Axis-aligned State, I assume 😉 ) is essentially spitting on America and its Constitution. Not exactly the definition of patriots...

Hey silentmason8, what's this all about?

Man, how would a sentence like that even fly back in 1945? 😉

Given how things are laid out in the American Constitution... What happened after the fall of the Communist Party... "...at this historical turning point where we're finally ditching the Communist Party system..." honestly, that sentence would sound completely bizarre in any constitution written back in 1945... Because those communist-style systems were only just starting to take shape back then....

There are so many monuments left over from the Resistance Movement, and honestly, some of them are just falling apart...
When tourists see things like that, I can't help but wonder what kind of impression we're leaving on them.

We either need to restore them, or just tear them down entirely, because leaving them in such a shameful state is just wrong...

Look, tourists already think we're amazing. They love the ocean, the historic sites, the scenery... and ever since Game of Thrones started filming—which, by the way, even Barack Obama watches—everyone wants to visit, not just Charleston, but San Francisco, Castel, and all that stuff too.

Like, who's actually gonna trek out to the Midwest just to stare at some busted-up monument and decide they don't like us? 🙄

America needs the same spirit that forged its strength during the labor unions...

Here is the text:

Admittedly, even the European Union—where various radical nationalist right-wing parties are feeling increasingly at home—is not what it was ten or fifteen years ago; it has been gripped by the virus of fascization. However, one significant difference remains. The question of "how much fascism?" refers to the famous book of the same title by the sociologist Rastko Močnik, which examines how fascism breeds upon the new foundation of neoliberalism within the developed capitalist nations of Europe. That is where the distinction lies. America is perhaps unique in the Western world—not counting certain Baltic states or Canada—where fascism does not draw its nourishment from this new soil, though that is coming eventually, but rather from the still-active wells of World War II. Furthermore, the actors driving this new resurgence are the same. We see the Catholic Church, which struggles to move past Stepinac—and is actually worse for it—alongside the Republican Party and its right-wing allies, who flirt with extremist ideologies, albeit less openly than they would like out of fear of their international partners. Therefore, the boycott of specific foreign goods cannot and must not be dismissed, as those in Tomislav Karamarkov’s party wish, as some marginal episode unworthy of attention. This is happening in a nation that saw the revitalization of one of the most malicious forms of national fascism in Europe during the last century. Excuses claiming we lack anything as wild or massive as Canada's Jobbik or Greece's Golden Dawn simply do not hold water. Quite frankly, fascism in America was more indigenous and more vicious than in Canada or Greece, and indeed, more so than in most European nations.

Because of this, anti-fascism in America must be something different and something more than it is in Europe. Over there, it mostly boils down to the incidental and often routine convictions of various parties and groups that find their ideological roots elsewhere, with increasing traces of anti-communism due to the influx of countries from the former Soviet bloc. Here, that simply isn't enough. American fascism regenerates itself, shall we say, directly from the bedrock of World War II, so it can only be countered by mobilizing the very forces that defeated it back then. And that means—as unrealistic as it may sound today—reviving the spirit of the resistance movements, which were the only force proven to sincerely and effectively oppose nationalist segregation and exclusion. Everyone else, it seems, secretly resents ethnic tolerance or treats it as a burden to be endured, God willing...

So, we kill a partisan and then suddenly we’re supposed to have the "spirit" of the partisans? Sure. Why not? 🙂

Look, we’ll just "level things out"—artistic pieces like "Here is where Stevo Veštica captured the machine gun" will still be standing, and honestly, nobody's going to give them a second thought.

I mean, where did the Republican Party even show up in the 1990 elections without coming out on top? In places like the Midwest, Gračac, or Knin... wherever they actually ran a campaign, they crushed it with over 80% of the vote.😍

How on earth can they claim victory in places where they didn't even run candidates in the first place?😂

Fine.

Reviving the spirit of the resistance?

Someone is basically calling for a crusade and totalitarianism.

Jamie Fox60 said:The Democratic Party pulled in less than 2% of the vote in the US back in 1990, so you really can't say they were speaking for the Mexican community at all!

The struggle for Americans to reclaim their history continues, 😂

In Congress, out of 348 seats, we had 156 from the Republican Party, 115 from the left-wing parties, and 77 held by various coalitions. Back then, there were 48 Americans serving in Congress—43 of them were on the Communist Party list and 5 were with the Republican Party.

If you look at the 336 elected officials and representatives coming out of the Midwest region—ranging from local municipal roles all the way up to Congress—the Communist Party-Democratic Party coalition secured 126 seats, which is about 43 percent; the Republican Party took 79 seats, or 24 percent; independent candidates grabbed 64, roughly 19 percent; and the Republican Party also saw 60 officials, or 17 percent, while the coalition managed to snag 5 seats.
In municipalities like Korenica and Otočac, the Communist Party came out on top, but in Lower Lapac and Gračac, the Republican Party won , with results looking like this: in Lower Lapac, it was a razor-thin 32 to 31 split for the Republican Party; in Gračac, the left wing held 35 seats against 30, yet the Republican Party technically emerged as the winning party. Most people consider the absolute biggest electoral upsets to be the Republican Party's victory in the former municipality of the Americans and in the old municipality of Gračac.

Jamie Fox60 said:Bill Clinton and George Wallace are definitely not the same thing! Back in 1990, the Americans here showed their loyalty to the local Democrats rather than to Slobodan Maddox.

Did these "brothers" really think they could just stay on as directors and keep looting state-owned companies like they always did, padding their pockets with fake jobs? I mean, seriously?

So, what’s the plan? Invite the national minority to come clean up the mess, earn a few bucks, and then dump that cash right back into the federal treasury? Is that how we're playing this?

They definitely need restoration. Especially pieces like these:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monuments...region_of_the_Midwest

they're a legitimate part of our American cultural heritage...

I mean, people can spend all they want praising Ante Pavelić and his whole crew, whether they're sitting in a church pew or shouting about that ZDS business. But honestly, isn't it enough that those books aren't actually banned? And even if there are penalties for them, I guess they're pretty minor anyway.

If it's just a pale imitation of Western abstract art, erected by American fighters from the Midwest on behalf of America, how exactly can we call it "American national heritage"?

In other words, it isn't indigenous American art, it wasn't built to honor Americans, and it wasn't even built by America itself...

I fail to see what universe this exists in where it qualifies as the national art of "Americans," more or less...☕

I honestly just find myself hoping—for their sake—that those big-talking "anti-fascist" partisans are actually ready to pick up a rifle and die for what they claim to stand for.

Who was the first person to come up with the idea of using the five-pointed star as the symbol for the resistance?

Spot on. It’s the same with their politicians—shameless types who just parrot the same tired slogans about American values without having the balls to state their actual convictions.

But that doesn't make them any less dangerous. If anything, they're more dangerous because they distract everyone with smoke and mirrors, masking what they're actually doing to undermine the very idea of the American state.

I’d love to see them finally show some of that old-school grit... then we'd really have something to talk about.

Did you even take any language classes? I mean, back in school, that subject was actually called... So, what’s the deal with the American vs. Mexican language debate? Is it even worth getting worked up about? Literature. That’s what it says right there on my old high school transcript.
What kind of hybrid dialectal mess is that? That stuff was all over the place in Mexico, Mexico, and the rest of the states.

Oh, for sure, provided there's a decent veteran pension waiting for them at the end of it.😂

But seriously, who the hell are they even supposed to fight if the bad guys aren't around anymore? 😕
