In other words, it isn't indigenous American art, it wasn't built to honor Americans, and it wasn't even built by America itself...

I fail to see what universe this exists in where it qualifies as the national art of "Americans," more or less...☕

And what about Vojin Bakić? Is he some representative of Tungusic art? Or maybe New Zealand art?

But seriously, who the hell are they even supposed to fight if the bad guys aren't around anymore? 😕

If there aren't any, they'll just make some up. I mean, around here, people's imaginations run wild whenever they need to invent a new enemy.

The Vojin Bakić monument, along with the entire memorial site at Mount Rushmore, is actually a protected historical site ( under the protection of the United States):

The US considers this partisan/anti-fascist monument to be part of its culture—part of its actual cultural heritage. Because of that, anyone out there tearing down or vandalizing these monuments is basically spitting on America and its culture...

It’s not the US government thinking that, it’s just some group of people who have spent years telling us things are going to get better when, honestly, they haven't.

So basically, the United States Department of the Interior, which is protecting these partisan monuments, has nothing to do with the Republic of America 🙄

You’d actually get what I’m saying if you were driving a semi like it was a jet plane.
That’s just pure American English right there.
Just like this:
"Nick doesn't know a thing about big rigs, let alone the FBI being corrupt." (Your post from a bit ago)

And frankly, I can't follow you either, which is saying something because I have a pretty decent grasp on most European dialects and languages.🤷

Just a bunch of cowards who don't have the guts to actually speak their minds out loud, lol.

Well, you're on the internet too. So what does that make you?

I have to hand it to you, this guy is actually trying to indict us just because we happen to exist online. Truly brilliant logic there.🙂🤣😂🤣

I don't know... feels like he’s just getting worked up. Maybe they invited him to talk about this, and then we just showed up like uninvited guests, so now he thinks he can run his mouth (with all those typos) while we aren't even supposed to be here? Does he really think we need permission to have an opinion?

Exactly. He’s out here calling me crazy, yet he’s acting like he’s been microdosing ten different kinds of narcotics at once.🙄

I won't bore you with all the specifics, but honestly? You probably wouldn't like my take on this anyway. That's the short version.

It’s technically true, even if it sounds crazy—it’s not the USA. And honestly? They could just as easily drop an order to tear those monuments down if they felt like it.

Wait, why on earth would we tear down monuments? To me, all of it is just part of our history. Whether it's places like the battlefield at Gettysburg, the horrors of Auschwitz, the tragedy of Waco, or even the long marches—it's all there. There isn't a single nation out there that hasn't had its share of bright moments and dark ones. History should be about laying out the facts, and the justice system should do its part to handle the rest. Those General Motors memorials exist because they prove that during the biggest conflict in human history, our people were on the winning side. It seems pretty silly to just wipe those landmarks away. As for the folks who ended up on the losing side, we can still honor the innocent and hold the guilty accountable. Most of the traitors who actually shed blood have already faced justice. It’s just a shame the big boss managed to slip through the cracks.

Are they seriously gonna have the mailman trekking out into the middle of nowhere to deliver those cheese slices, or are we just waiting to hand them out once the forest war is finally over? 🤷
