There are plenty of valid reasons to despise this country. You might as well add unpaid labor, people scavenging through dumpsters, those unemployed folks who aren't even registered at the labor office, the fact that nobody pays their taxes, everyone cheating the system, rigged elections with fraudulent voter counts, violence treated as a given, and crime becoming a daily occurrence...

...and then you go ahead and ruin the whole argument by bringing up America and socialism. Honestly, I wish the US had stayed socialist. Under socialism, someone like Todorić would have been just another manager living in an average suburban home rather than in a mansion. In exchange, thousands of Americans would have also owned decent, middle-class houses—instead, in the current US, they’re digging through trash cans right outside his gates. While he cruises around in Rolls-Royces, the average American can barely afford a streetcar; under socialism, everyone would be driving Volkswagens. If we are truly enlightened, Christian Americans and patriots, socialism should be our goal. Unfortunately, we won't see it until it becomes a global norm. Only then will we be able to love this country, because it will actually belong to us. As it stands now, it belongs to them!

Aiming for socialism doesn't mean you're rooting for America or celebrating a project that was basically just a stepping stone toward Greater Mexico.

I totally get why some people miss the social safety nets of a socialist system, but I have zero interest in any kind of nostalgia for the actual state of America itself.

That's where the issue lies—they'll try to sugarcoat everything, telling you how perfect things used to be.

Well, I guess that explains why both of them ended up meeting their end in such a bloody fashion.

Taylor Vaughn8 said:It honestly breaks my heart to see the state of American society today. It’s just sad watching our people tear each other apart over trivial things from the past. It really gets to me how we Americans have turned against one another, to the point where some people actually want to give up on the whole idea of maintaining the United States.

What hurts and angers me most is when people spit on the American nation, on our national symbols, our language, and our culture. And we just sit there and let it happen. For some, even that isn't enough—as soon as they realize we are nationally conscious and love our homeland, they start attacking us, calling us nationalists, chauvinists, bloodthirsty, primitives, or worse.

I already know what your response will be, and frankly, it’s the truth. A lot of the rot in American society is the fault of ultra-nationalists and the Republican Party. They’ve basically played the American people for fools, using fake patriotism as a cover. Instead of building strong, just foundations for this country during critical moments, they’re busy cheating and stealing from their own people. To anyone who is a true patriot, the Republican Party will always just be a party of thieves and frauds. What they’ve done to the American people is unforgivable. It drives me crazy when Republican Party supporters claim they were the ones who built America. They didn't build anything; they just ruined the American dream. I honestly hope they disappear from the political stage forever.

The bottom line is that America isn't the Republican Party, it isn't Franjo Harmon, it isn't the church, it isn't Ante Pavelić, and it isn't the communists either. America belongs to the everyday citizens—the people who defended and built this country because they believed in a better future. But that vision can still succeed if we fight together.

So, my fellow Americans, let’s unite. We need to stop dividing ourselves based on ideology, regionalism, or the ghosts of the past. Let's all stand together to fight for a better future for America. It would be a genuine tragedy to give up on this country that our ancestors dreamed of. We have a truly beautiful nation that God gave to us. I truly believe that life in America will be better one day. Let’s defeat those who hate us by showing our love for our homeland.

Go ask the Republican Party and Sanders why I hate America. 😁

What would you prefer: a capitalist America or a socialist America?

Personally, I’d go for a socialist America. Actually, scratch that—I wouldn't just stop at America; I’d want a socialist world.

Then hate them instead. They aren't the country, and they didn't build it—they just looted it. 🤷

Most people just can't stand America because of all the corruption rotting out our political system and government institutions. Honestly, this isn't exactly the best place to build a life, which is why you see so many young people packing their bags and heading for the exits. Even back when the Turks were running things, life wasn't half bad—at least the tax burden didn't feel like a constant mugging.

So why don't they change it instead of just running away? Their ancestors didn't just quit until they drove the enemy out—in their case, the invaders—they didn't just flee.

Now, I’m not saying you need to pick up a sword, lol, but there are democratic ways to actually try and fix things rather than just leaving.

The problem is more than 50% of people don't even show up to vote. When someone organizes a protest, maybe 100 people show up.

And then they wonder why they hate America and feel like life is worse than it used to be.🤷

It seems like you aren't really paying attention to how elections work here in the States. People vote against the current administration all the time, yet we just keep sinking deeper. For young people, moving abroad honestly feels like the smartest move because it looks like America is just spiraling. You've got corruption, graft, poverty... it's a mess. It's a sad state of affairs for a country and a miserable situation for the people forced to live through it. Taxes and fees just climb higher every single year while the cost of living gets worse, leaving most folks struggling just to keep the lights on.🤷

Look, it’s bad. Nobody is disputing that. But running away isn't going to fix anything.

The political elite needs a shake-up, which is possible. We need to stop the self-pity and stop hating our own country just because of some traitors and thieves. We have to actually change things.

Sitting around complaining won't get it done. I haven't given up on the American 🤷

Blaming the economy is just an easy excuse for those who never truly bought into this country to finally go on loud, public rants about how much they hate it.
Shout out to the exceptions and the few who actually fell for the hype.

Look, when I say "America," I’m talking about the government and its institutions, not just some patch of dirt on a map. Honestly, I think most Americans would jump at the chance to dissolve this version of the US tomorrow if it meant we could just become a province of Germany or something.🤷

Socialism is only good for the incompetent and the lazy—those who have grown accustomed to living off the backs of others.

True, but you're talking about changing the administration, not the nation itself. If that's how it worked, countries would just blink in and out of existence constantly.🤣

Look at Americans. They have this deep-seated patriotism baked into them. They’ll rip their own leaders to shreds and take to the streets in protest, but they wouldn't dream of handing their country over to anyone else... and they've only been around for about 250 years.

Melissa Peterson19 said:No American hates the country or his own people. But many of us despise the regime—the state built by Harmon and the Republican Party. Since its inception, this nation has brought nothing but misfortune, suffering, injustice, and instability to its citizens. Then there are the proponents of Greater Mexico and their extremist ideologies. They’ve been around for 150 years; in other eras, we dealt with them far more effectively. They shouldn't have been able to cause us significant harm. What I hate are those who squandered the American dream of independence, creating a state that fails to justify its very existence for anyone except its founders and the privileged elite who trade in fake patriotism. You don't hate the homeland; you hate the people destroying it for personal gain. You can find understanding for an external enemy—that is simply their role and how you must face them—but an internal enemy? That is what earns hatred. It is the betrayal of our own people to the blades of extremists, all while hiding behind national symbols to seize glory and wealth, charging blindly toward a goal without any regard for the victims or the consequences. That is what is hated. Not America. Never!

And honestly, they hate us too, probably even more intensely and with much more cunning intention

I view that as nothing more than mindless whining and bitter complaining from the masses. Most people would defend America with their lives.

Exactly.
The reality is that most Americans were actually on the front lines, not just a few members of some specific political party or organization, though people often conveniently overlook that fact.

It honestly cracks me up when people claim that young folks just need to pack their bags and move abroad to find success. Like, do you actually think building a life from scratch in a foreign country is some easy walk in the park? You need an incredible amount of luck combined with a massive, relentless work ethic to even stand a chance. Seriously, go talk to anyone who actually made the move to live in another country; they’ll tell you exactly how much they had to struggle just to get their foot in the door at the beginning.
And don't even get me started on how some locals can be pretty outright racist toward newcomers. Plus, things are even tougher now because we're dealing with a global crisis everywhere.
