They haven't finished migrating all the data over to the 2015 fiscal year yet.
You've still got the data from December 31, 2014, 😉

Is anyone else seeing these massive delays with the 2015 tax filings regarding those bottom-tier contributions? It’s a total mess. For some people I know, the payments for social security and unemployment insurance haven't even been posted yet. Then you have others where the paperwork is technically correct and has just been sitting in the queue waiting for processing for five days—so they’ve actually made the payment, but the system hasn't cleared the filing yet. Honestly, it seems like almost everyone is running into some kind of glitch with their tax records. Are they still dragging their feet over there, or what is going on?
What cracks me up most is how inconsistent this is; half the payments were posted instantly—literally the same day—while the other half are nowhere to be found. I’m stuck wondering if I should just sit tight and wait or start blowing up their customer service line.

Don't sweat it too much—just stay patient. 🙂

I don't mean to be alarmist, but missing payments seem weird. Maybe double-check the bank statements and give them a ring.
I've already gone through every single line on my FARC records and everything looks solid. Nothing is missing on my end, which is why I'm asking.

Thanks Stella and APIS, everything looks solid today. Maybe I was just checking things a bit too early yesterday, haha. Anyway, all the remaining payments have been posted for everyone now; there are still a few correct entries waiting to be processed, but I’m not sweating it since I have confirmation that they were submitted correctly. It felt weird when only two contributions hadn't cleared yet—I honestly started wondering if I was losing my mind. The billing accounts and phone calls are all matching up, and the amounts are staying consistent (aside from those recent adjustments regarding pet fees and injury claims). So, yeah, if anyone else notices something off, they’re clearly still smoothing out the kinks behind the scenes.

The IRS portal is telling me my digital certificate has been revoked 🙂
I actually called the agency and they insisted everything is fine on their end. To make matters weirder, I can log into my Social Security account without any issues. Is anyone else running into this glitch with the IRS site...

So it’s not just me then.
The IRS site is also giving me that "certificate revoked" error 🤔
My online banking works perfectly fine.
As for the help desk, I can't get anyone on the line; the hold times are endless.
According to the troubleshooting guide on the IRS website regarding the "revoked certificate" message, it suggests the certificate might be suspended if there are unpaid balances. I checked my records and everything is settled, except for the most recent quarterly filing which hasn't even arrived yet. What am I supposed to do now?🤔

Trying to get a hold of someone at the IRS, but the office in Chicago is a total circus right now. Can't get anything done over the phone either.

Gary King5, I finally got them on my phone.
The certificates haven't actually been revoked; there was just some kind of error over at the PU.
I guess all we can do now is wait and see.

What is going on with this joppd filing? I submitted it for a detailed review yesterday around 8:00 PM, and I am still sitting here waiting for an automated notification from the IRS 🤦

Is this some sort of error on my end, or are they tinkering with the IRS servers yet again? 🤔

Planned downtime for ePKK and joppd services
We are notifying all users of the IRS systems that due to year-end and beginning-of-year accounting processing, the ePKK service will be unavailable from Saturday, 01/17/2015 at 07:00 AM until Monday, 01/19/2015 at 07:00 AM. Additionally, from Thursday, 01/15/2015 at 04:00 PM until Monday, 01/19/2015 at 07:00 AM, the joppd form verification and processing service will be unavailable; however, submissions will continue to be accepted without interruption.

So, I can still submit them, but the system won't perform any automatic validation? Why on earth haven't they migrated this automated joppd form verification process to a different server to avoid such disruptions?

That was my understanding as well. One has to wonder, though—why haven't they bridged that technical gap yet? It remains a mystery. They did issue a warning early this morning, which I suppose they consider sufficient notice.

"Crypto device support is not ready. Please verify that the correct crypto device support is installed."

I’ve tried installing every version of Java under the sun, swapped between IE, Mozilla, and Chrome, even went as far as disabling my antivirus entirely, but nothing works! It’s just the same frustrating loop over and over...

Does anyone actually have a fix for this nightmare???? 😠😠😠

I always have to plug the stick in twice before it finally works... I plug it in, wait for the light to stop blinking, pull it out, wait a second just to be safe, then plug it back in. Maybe give that a shot, might help...

When I plug my stick in, that light stays dark for ages. I end up unplugging it and plugging it right back in, and while I'm sitting there waiting for the light to finally kick on, I usually just pass the time surfing the web.🙂

Help! I’m hitting a wall while trying to upload this form, and I keep getting this error message:
The form doesn't match the required XML structure.

Technical details:
The 'http://irs.gov/schemas/requests/VATForm/v8-0:Name' element is invalid - The value '' is invalid according to its datatype 'http://irs.gov/schemas/BasicTypes/v2-1:tRestrictedStringMinMax128' - The actual length is less than the MinLength value.

What should I do here? Everything has been running smoothly until now...

Hey there... It's been about two years since I last messed around with this, so my memory is a bit rusty. I just headed over to the FBI this morning to hand over the Power of Attorney to an Authorized Representative to set up a new Proxy... Now, I'm wondering: do I just sit tight and wait for them to update the application on their end, or am I supposed to go in and log the change myself? I've been poking around, but I honestly can't see where to do it.

First, the agent at the FBI has to process the Power of Attorney on their end. Once they do that, he'll pop up on your screen once you log into the IRS portal.

Jack Young, thanks a million!👍 I’d rather not go digging through that digital manual again... "The lady at the IRS"? Honestly, people say a little bit of sarcasm is just a sign of a healthy brain.
