Honestly, you should be getting an automated email confirming they actually received your inquiry.
I mean, at least I always get one.

Hi everyone,
I’m in a bit of a bind here... my digital certificate for the IRS e-filing system has been revoked.

Once I get the new one issued, what’s the standard procedure to regain access to the e-filing portal and the tax filing systems?
Thanks.

Does anyone know the best way to go about asking the IRS for a VAT refund? I’ve been carrying this balance for months now—I just kept booking it as a prepayment, you know? It’s actually built up to about $6.75
at this point. Does filing a formal written request actually work for getting things moving? That’s how I used to handle it back in the day.
Also, once you officially file for the refund, does the IRS typically start digging through all your input and output invoices?

Just mark "refund" on your tax return. After that, you're basically at the mercy of whatever agent you get at the local IRS office, since rules can be a bit hit-or-miss depending on where you are.
Personally, I don't bother showing up in person. I just email them scanned copies of whatever they ask for.
I don't even fill out any special authorization forms.

When we’re uploading attachments—like meeting minutes or official decisions—to the IRS portal via our electronic filing system, what are the current requirements for those scans? Specifically, do they need to show both an official corporate seal and a signature from an authorized officer, or is just the signature enough? In the past, we’d just upload the PDF files without worrying about every single page being stamped, so I'm trying to figure out if the stamp is now mandatory alongside the signature. To be honest, I’ve had a couple of clients forget to include the corporate seal even after signing, and I’m feeling a bit unsure if their submissions will get flagged because the stamp is missing.

Need some help with this river issue on the Democratic Party site—specifically regarding the registration page,
the error says: your security settings have blocked a self-signed appl.from running...

How long does it usually take for Goldman Sachs to clear your signature at the bank? I've been stuck on this signing screen for an hour now...

Does anyone know how to actually add an exception for the Social Security Administration site within the Java options?

I spent an entire hour on Friday troubleshooting my setup with their tech support.😢

And after all that, the actual signature part takes less than a minute.😉

It flew by using Discovery, but Chrome was being a total nightmare.

What’s the move when it keeps telling me my PIN is wrong or my card expired? Everything else works fine, it's just this Medicare site. I can't even get past the login screen.🙂

Are we still sending the tax attachments along with the VAT filing as PDFs like we used to, or do I need to scan and sign everything manually just like we do for the IRS?

Don't even get me started! We’ve been dealing with a handful of digital certificates on our servers, and we've been stuck with these exact same issues for over a year now. Everything works perfectly fine except for Medicare. The rest of the systems are running smooth as silk. We've tried everything—calling Medicare, emailing a dozen different people, even showing up at their office in person to settle things—but still nothing. No fix, no solution, just dead ends. 🙄

Out of my three computers, the federal health portal is only working on one of them.
The most frustrating part is that all three machines are totally different setups with different versions of Windows, so I can't just copy over the settings from the working one to the others.
Everything else, like the IRS website, Social Security, and my banking apps like Chase or Wells Fargo, is running perfectly on all of them without any issues so far.
I noticed the outage a few days ago, and I honestly thought they might have updated the technical requirements or system specs again.

Medicare told us they’re actually aware of the issue. Apparently, there's some glitch they haven't patched yet, so not everyone can even log in to the portal.
First, they told us we had to clear our security certificates, then they suggested we go down to the local Medicare office to request a physical card and a hardware token. Our local branch? They didn't have a clue what we were talking about... Luckily, I don't have to deal with constant check-ins and check-outs since most of that goes through the FDA.

Ugh, tell me about it. They told us we had to clear the digital certificates from our computers and all that nonsense, too. We tried it a bunch of times, but nope—still nothing works. Since we handle so many enrollments and cancellations, and not everyone has power of attorney for every single client, we end up having to run down to Medicare just to get them to print out 😵
.
We finally filed an official grievance with the regional Medicare headquarters in the city, because before this, we were just going back and forth with some IT department out in Des Moines or somewhere similar, trying to convince them that our hardware wasn't the problem. It’s funny how everything works perfectly fine for every other agency, though!

Hey there,
quick question for anyone who knows their way around the books—when you're filling out the additional data columns for gross capital investments in fixed assets, should I be including buildings under construction? Specifically, I mean just the costs tied up in getting building permits sorted out.
Best,

Best,

In my opinion, yes.
