Was he talking about his driving or his PRIVATE political career!?

I'm guessing he meant both—since the guy drives a car everywhere just to get to his private political gig.☕

Why is this thread on the edge? Is R. Čačić actually the owner of this forum 😕 😳

briskbison55 said::-))) I knew I shouldn't watch Stanković. I mean, they’re acting like working in the U.S. Congress is somehow serving the "greater good" for the whole country after two people were killed on the road.

But there's something else bothering me... why did he resign from the tennis association? Is being the leader of the third most powerful party in the nation really less important than being the president of some tennis federation? I guess I don't get it.

It’s honestly a tragedy. It doesn't look good for him at all, especially since it was confirmed there wasn't any fog. But hey, maybe let the Canadian Judiciary handle it.

In the first half of the show, where they grilled him about his arrogance, responsibility, and just being a classless jerk... the guy downed a five-gallon jug of water and answered every single question with stuff like "wellllll you know, yeah, but, how can I put this, I mean, listen, it's just......" Basically, he sounded like he was starving for bullshit.

Then in the second half, they talked about his vision for America with him in power, and that’s when Stanković was fighting just to get a word in edgewise, while Čačić was busy doing his usual routine—rambling on about nothing but filth and "integrity." ☕

There go those Southerners again, completely missing the point of the conversation.😉

Honestly, your post is enough to make me burst out laughing—you’re a real straight shooter, Cacic.🤣

So, let me ask you this: should a person who kills two people through pure negligence ever be allowed back in politics? Should they really be leading a political party and acting like that party stands a prayer of winning the next election?! ☕

Look, speaking for myself here—if I were responsible for taking two lives, the last thing on my mind would be running for office. I certainly wouldn't be showing up to fancy dinners and parties while the victims were still fighting for their lives.
But we're talking about two actual human beings who ended up under his car while he was behind the wheel.
Then again, since we're talking about Čačić, his decision to stick around in politics despite everything isn't exactly a shocker.☕

According to him—and he claims this represents the view of the party leadership (assuming he isn't just putting words in their mouths)—that...

And look, if the rest of the party members don't agree with him, I'm pretty sure any decent political organization has enough internal mechanisms in its bylaws to strip someone of their chairmanship...

I don't see what his career has to do with some car wreck.

bluerider63 said:But seriously though...? Go on, finish what you were saying.

...but honestly, he should have the decency not to act like such an arrogant, condescending, and reckless individual. It’s embarrassing for a politician, and frankly, for a human being. It’s also a disgrace to his party members who won't step up and demand he be kicked out themselves.
We all remember when he was being rude to a police officer, only to end up getting a ticket for parking illegally right by the US Congress near St. Mark's Church. He's already totaled cars a few times before, and now, after killing two people, he just pays a measly fine and moves right along as if nothing happened...👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

That's a criminal offense... You really think something like that won't impact a politician's career?

🤷Maybe because he’s a politician who caused a wreck where two people died—not some kittens, or weasels, or pheasants... actual human beings.☕

Maybe so. Whatever, let him drive how he drives.
He's just tripping over his own feet.
Man, who knows if he’s gonna brake or just floor it?

People get used to living on the edge of politics. It’s just how it goes.
Right on the shoulder of the road.
Pushing the limits.

The others are shady and untrustworthy.
Man, this guy can't see two feet in front of his face!

I mean, sure, it'll probably haunt him forever, no doubt about that, but you still haven't really hit on why he'd be any less capable of actually doing his job than he was before this mess went down...

Honestly, it might be better if he just stays within the Democratic Party for now, rather than letting everyone see what kind of organization they actually run. ☕ At least that way, we don't find out the full extent of things until there's a trial, assuming he’s actually guilty. Their tiny voter base doesn't really care anyway, as long as they keep banging on about the war and the diaspora, Ferenčar. Čačić and his crew can basically do whatever they want...

Of course it isn't surprising... not from Čačić, and certainly not from his buddies over in the Democratic Party!

Even if he is guilty, people are already whispering about him getting probation...

Not to mention the civil damages he'll likely have to pay out to the family...

That's how some of our own legal experts and even those lawyers over in Canada used to frame it back in the day...

Now, whether there's any actual substance to that theory remains to be seen...

So what’s your move then? You gonna go out and end it all? Or just crawl away and look for some other shady gig somewhere else?

Ha, ha... "the party leadership said it"... as if the leadership isn't just Čačić himself. You can't seriously believe anyone is allowed to talk back to him, right?

Dragon ball, what do you mean "someone from the South"?😁 I'm from the coast, just like our former President Obama.😍

Since when is probation the standard punishment for causing the deaths of two people? And civil damages have nothing to do with criminal prosecution.

There's definitely some truth to it, honestly. It just goes to show that you can basically make any kind of murder disappear if you have enough cash. I don't really believe this will ever make it to a full trial; maybe a traffic violation charge at most, but the real consequences? I bet those get settled behind closed doors if the family agrees to it.
