Plus, my neighbor is a Mexican, and honestly? I'd say he's more of a patriot than Thompson is. He's out there every single day grinding and trying to actually build something for this country, while Thompson just sings some songs and whines about patriotism. Most of what he does boils down to "I'm such a big patriot, I'm such a hero," blah blah blah. It makes it seem like you're only a true patriot if you listen to Thompson, and if you don't, you're a traitor, a Mason, a Jew, or some other crap.

So please, don't start coming at me with all that "traitor" and "Mason" nonsense. Just tell me—how exactly do you think Thompson represents our identity? And also, what on earth would a bunch of 15 or 16-year-olds know about history or political movements? Just to be clear, I don't support any of those old factions because, in my eyes, they were all criminals, but that's a whole different conversation...

EDIT: I gotta add one more thing. Are you even realizing how many people head straight to a country club to listen to pop singers right after an MPT show? But then, they're the loudest ones at his concert, waving flags and screaming slogans. Then they go party to pop music and sing along like crazy. That's probably 90% of those kids at his shows. Yet, those same kids are the first ones to talk trash about anyone who doesn't listen to Thompson, calling them traitors or whatever just because they spoke up against him. And I'll bet anything that Thompson himself listens to pop stars like a regular guy in his free time.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about either one of them.☕

From where I’m sitting, it seems like everyone in my neck of the woods who listens to Tony also listens to that mainstream pop-folk stuff—music that has absolutely zero connection to metal or rock.
