Arthur Ramos said:seriously though, where on earth are you getting all these cakes from??? like, drop the recipe or something. anyway, do you have any ideas for those little table cards... maybe throw a photo or two up there so we can actually see what we're dealing with...

It’s just what I do. I’ve got a wild imagination and I'm hoping to make it big as a wedding planner one day.😍
As for the cards, which thread are you talking about?

Glad you're a fan too.🙂
And you're right—it feels like a crime to slice them when they're basically fine art.

You could drop them under restaurant decor, or if they’ve got a nautical vibe, maybe under "Wedding Theme: Ocean." Personally, I'm looking for some wild ideas involving seashells. I'm not really feeling the whole "print it on paper" thing—maybe I could etch something onto a shell or a smooth stone... I don't know, I'm just thinking out loud here...🤷😂

Or maybe there's a thread for "DIY Invitations, Thank You Notes, Party Favors, etc."

Consider it done. 🙏
Gotta run, but I'll be back later with some new photos. Peace out. 🙂

I’m considering ordering a cake from Grabar over in Columbus—they have a location in a suburban neighborhood, too...

So, I wanted to see if anyone here has actually ordered from them before?🙂

Arthur Ramos said:Bravo, that ocean blue one up there is stunning, though personally I’d be all over it if it came in a sandy beige or maybe a dusty rose...image, but seriously, they're all killer pieces

Here's one along those lines: 😍

Hope I hit the mark. 😁

Honestly, this is pure perfection... I think I might actually need something just like this... though, I suppose, maybe a slightly smaller version would be better.

I wanted to share a little success story with you all—we finally pulled the trigger and ordered treats from Em!
We stopped by this past Saturday and picked up a box with about 13 ounces complimentary; I have to say, the pastries were truly exquisite. Each one was better than the last, though since it was a bit of an off-peak period, they didn't have their full selection available. Regardless, we are very happy with our choice.👍 The rate is $27 per pound when you purchase more than 22 pounds.

We also took the opportunity to visit that new bakery over at the local suburban market. The decor is absolutely charming, and the sweets are equally delicious, though I found the pricing to be somewhat exorbitant ( $33 per pound).

A deep crimson layered cake—definitely not your run-of-the-mill classic.
