Look, I spend way more time training than just wrestling. 😛

But honestly? It doesn't even help. 😁

Ouch. The world is MINE! 😁 😁

It doesn't make a difference. 😁

So, what about wu-wei? You know, that whole "effortless action" thing? 😁

Look, if you’re talking about Tai Chi, Wing Chun, some "animal style" kung fu, or some secret Dragon Claw technique used to ambush a drunk chicken, I’m not buying it. 🙂

Boxing, wrestling, UFC, Muay Thai... now *that* is what counts. 😁

Though, if I’m being real, I picture you more as some RPG character... you know, one of those guys who puts on pajama armor and runs around through the woods playing Dungeons & Dragons. 😳 🤔 😁

Though, honestly, I picture you more in some RPG setting... you know, that crew that dresses up in pajamas and Lord of the Rings armor just to run around through the woods.😳 🤔 😁

Yeah, well—how about you actually get up off the couch for once and do something productive?😛

In all seriousness, though, I've actually got a real sword here at home... want to be my beta tester? Or better yet, how about we head out for a little jog through the woods... I was actually thinking about getting some archery practice in myself.😁 😈

I don't even own a TV 😁

Well, if we're going to brag about gear, I've got an actual katana, and I'm picking up a compound bow with a high-end scope for big game hunting very soon. So, feel free to step up if you really want to beta test. 😁

Why has everyone stopped talking about this on the forums? Or am I just totally out of the loop and missing the discussions? 😁

Look, we're talking about toys here. Honestly, swords are great for exercise, and the whole "feel" of it is awesome (okay, fine, I have a thing for cold steel so maybe I'm being biased 😍), but I'd even go as far as saying it's spiritual 😁
.
But let's be real: ever since the handgun was invented, swords haven't really been practical. Plus, usable weaponry is pricey. This stainless steel stuff looks pretty and is fun to swing around, but it's way too brittle for actual cutting or combat. You need high-carbon steel for that, which bumps up the price. You're looking at anywhere from $500 to $1,000 just for something decent. If you want real quality, you're looking at several thousand, and don't even get me started on custom hand-forged pieces.

At any rate, unless some apocalypse hits and we all end up living back in caves, swords are kind of a niche hobby rather than a useful tool. It's much better to learn how to use a solid knife, a hunting blade, a machete, or a kukri. Even if you *are* planning on starting some militant cult to go after your enemies, you'll still end up dropping a few hundred bucks per person for a reliable blade.

Man, that Gurkha kukri looks incredible. As soon as I have the cash, I’m definitely picking one up. 😍

It’s an absolute beast. It would probably slice through someone easier than a katana; even though the blade is bigger, that specific curve and the weight distribution near the spine give it such a killer balance. You get all that massive chopping power without having to go full Hulk on it. 😍 😈

Good grief, look at these guys acting like toddlers. If only we were dealing with some radicalized militia or a bunch of extreme religious zealots in the Midwest, maybe then we'd actually see a heavily armed sect forming. 😈

I am not! I'm just a girl. I only want to give the non-believers a little... nudge, for their own good, so they find their way back to the Lord. To save their souls, you should really see me as nothing more than a standard Glock. 😁

They'd have to start wearing those suicide belts—you know, that spiked thing you wrap around your waist that constantly pokes you? I can't even remember what they call it... 😁

That sounds like the perfect solution, but what about the ones who aren't exactly eager to repent? The ones who've already given their hearts to the lords of the stinking abyss?

Don't they need a little extra motivation to find their way back to the true faith? 😳
