If you’re still getting locked out and can’t get into your account, just give the help desk a shout, okay? Sometimes these things happen where your security token hasn't quite hit the system yet and stays stuck in limbo for a bit.

I can't seem to track down the instruction manual anywhere, and honestly, I’ve been using this bank for over a decade without ever hitting a snag like this before.
There's a support number printed on the back, 1-800-555-0199, but I really don't want to spend my afternoon on hold🙄. Since I absolutely need to get into my account by Monday to settle some bills, does anyone know if this is something I can fix over the phone, or am I looking at a mandatory trip to a local Chase branch?

Just turn it off—I don't know which specific model you're holding or if they swapped it out for you recently—using that button with the arrow icon, power it back up, and just type in the correct PIN. That should do the trick 🙂. I'm not entirely sure how many times you can trigger a FAIL before the whole device locks you out permanently, but my guess is probably three. I haven't personally pushed it that far 🙂

I actually already tried restarting it and entering the right PIN, but I didn't realize I had to hit the button again to clear the FAIL message from the screen first. Once I did that, it worked perfectly!🙄
The real headache now is just trying to get onto their website. Even when I manage to log in, it rarely lets me past the Chase (APPPLI 1) authentication stage to actually access my account. Could that be an issue with their server lines?
goldentrucker3 said:A few days ago, I was getting error messages for basically every single transaction I tried to make. It was just some stupid pop-up claiming their system was overloaded or whatever. Still, I’ve never dealt with the kind of constant headache you're describing. Maybe try switching to a different web browser and see if that changes anything 🙂 But let's be real, it's almost certainly an issue on their end...

These security sites can be super finicky about that kind of stuff. Honestly, I’ve found that just running CCleaner usually does the trick and fixes everything right up.
jadeorca11 said:You know, all those little temporary internet files, cookies, and whatever else gets stored on your hard drive

jadeorca11 said:Spot on, and honestly, you could even try out this software if you want.

Jessica Diaz said:Yeah, I’ve got the token on me, though I haven't actually gone through the trouble of trying to fire it up or anything... so it should work. Fine. I'll go take a look later. Thanks.
