It's really not a big deal... you're going up against high-level fighters. Losing to a top-tier fighter isn't something to be ashamed of. What matters is that you can get back out there, fix your mistakes, and keep leveling up your game.

Look, nakmuay—or should I say, my friend—you’ve got to just let this loss go. It’s one battle, one single experience added to the tally, that's all it is... I know, I know, it probably sounds incredibly cheesy when I say it like this, but honestly? It reminds me of that line from Batman Begins: "Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up!!!"

We’ve all taken hits, nakmuay, we've all been knocked down at some point—but the absolute most important thing is getting back in the game. And you will get back there, I'm sure of it. You guys over at Holy Spirit are true warriors...

Sure, everything checks out on paper, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they've pulled off 3,000 matches in their careers. It's more like three hundred before you even start getting tired.

Exactly. In Ninjutsu, there’s an even better saying: "Fall seven times, stand up eight."

Hey, what’s up everyone? Just popping in to say hi and see how things are going with you all tonight! Is it just me, or does everything feel a little more intense when the sun goes down and the rest of the world finally shuts up for a second? kaže:
I've been getting into recreational boxing for a few months now and honestly, I'm loving every second of it, but there's this one annoying thing that keeps popping up—has anyone else dealt with this? My calves and shins just start absolutely screaming at me during training, especially when we're grinding through jump rope drills or footwork exercises, like my muscles are just seizing up out of nowhere! Does anyone know what might be causing this or how I can actually make the pain stop?

Rebecca Smith4 said:If you’re dealing with muscle cramps, maybe try some magnesium—powdered tablets, specifically.
I know a few people who managed to clear up their cramping issues after a long hiatus just by using magnesium...

Look, there’s really no need to go running straight for the supplements or whatever chemical fix you're thinking about, because honestly, why not just let your body breathe and stretch out after every session? Maybe you just pushed it a little too hard this time, you know?

Checked out this site, but it says it's under construction. There's zero info besides a contact link.

Haven't been on this forum in a while... what kind of training goes on at Genbunkan?

Thinking about getting back into martial arts, just for fun. I'm 25; I'm not looking for competition, just want some solid, heavy training sessions.

Reach out to Zlatko directly and have a proper chat with him about his training regimen; honestly, that’s really your only viable way forward here. It would also be quite wise to check out the other club—the Bujinkan group—and I’d suggest you simply ignore any petty internal squabbles between those two. Just weigh them both up and pick whichever one resonates more with you. If I were personally looking to dive into Ninjutsu, I’d probably head over to Genbukan, but at the end of the day, the decision is entirely yours once you’ve seen how they both operate.

P.S. Having just a phone number and an address should be more than sufficient to get things moving initially. 😉

I've got a question...
Is there anyone training Drunken Fist (Zui Quan) in the city or maybe somewhere nearby?😕

A friend of mine just signed up for Wing Chun over on Bauer Street, and I’ve been considering joining him. Does anyone here actually know if the training at that location is the real deal? I’ve seen enough posts on this forum to know there are plenty of low-quality imitations out there...

Go ahead, take a look, give it a real shot, and then tell me what you honestly think. If you absolutely love it, then just soak it all in and enjoy yourself. But if it’s just not your thing? No biggie, there are plenty of other options out there waiting for you.

Unfortunately, I don't actually know anyone from that club, and since I haven't had the chance to work with anyone over there, I can't really give you a solid opinion on them. However, I'm sure someone else on this forum probably knows the deal, so you should be able to find some helpful feedback here.

And hey, if you're looking to dive into some heated debates about who said what to whom, you could scroll through discussions here that stretch on for miles. But honestly, if you ask me, isn't that just a massive waste of everyone's time?

True, though Zlatko is still "stronger" than George...😂
Just kidding. Cheers, friend. 😉

Just one more question... can I actually show up to Bujinkan ninjutsu training now, even with the school year wrapping up, and just sign up and start? Or should I hold off until September to give it a shot?

You can come by now. You'll be jumping into the middle of the program, but most people training here started the exact same way.
You'll catch up eventually. 🙂

I might actually show up for training tomorrow and perhaps even attempt an actual session... What time does it start, and what’s the required attire? For context, I am 16 years old and have zero prior training experience. That shouldn't be an issue, right?

Hey everyone, I was just sitting here thinking about how much things have changed lately, and I couldn't help but wonder if anyone else feels that same sense of quiet momentum building up in the air? It’s one of those days where everything feels like it’s moving a little bit faster, yet somehow more smoothly at the same time, don't you think? I've been spending quite a bit of my afternoon just reflecting on some of our recent discussions, and honestly, it really makes me smile to see how much we all care about these topics. Isn't it funny how a simple conversation can turn into such a deep dive when you least expect it? Anyway, I hope you're all having a wonderful, relaxing day so far, perhaps enjoying a nice cup of coffee or just catching a bit of sunlight while you work through your tasks. Just wanted to pop in, say hello, and send some good vibes out to the whole community! kaže:
Honestly, even if we’re being totally real about it, isn't Zlatko just a bit more powerhouse than George?😂
Hey there, hello to you too, my friend! How’s everything going on your end today? 😉

😂 Haha, oh man, you really know how to start a conversation off with a bang, don't you? Just a simple little burst of laughter, but it honestly feels like such a great way to kick things off! It’s funny how much a little "hahahah" can brighten up a digital space, isn't it? I'm just sitting here wondering what exactly triggered that sudden outburst of joy—was it a thought, a memory, or maybe just one of those perfectly timed moments where everything just feels right? Either way, I am absolutely loving this energy! 😂
Hey there! How’s everything going with you today? I was just sitting here thinking about how nice it is to finally get a moment to breathe and say hello to everyone. It really feels like the perfect time for a friendly greeting, doesn't it? I hope your day is off to a fantastic start and that everything is running smoothly on your end!

What a disaster... if they’re actually the sponsor, you’d think they’d just give it to you instead of making you pay for it... :/
