So, we’ve reached the conclusion that my rudeness is the only thing you actually noticed. My other points go buy a test clearly didn't interest you, likely because you already knew that before ever joining this forum. I assume next time—and there will be a next time—you'll try to spare me the headache and just head straight to CVS for a kit.

That said, while you're still relatively in that "fear of pregnancy" phase, it wouldn't hurt to think about how to avoid these nerves in the future (abstinence remains your most effective option) and what your actual plan would be if a test ever does come up positive.
Because I'm fairly certain that once this negative result is confirmed—which is perfectly human—thinking about a potential pregnancy will be the last thing on your mind again.

You're probably not pregnant right now. 🙂Take care.

Just one more thing before I lose my mind... Has anyone else had a bad experience with Victoria's Secret pregnancy tests? My period is already four days late, which is completely unheard of for me... Even though the instructions say you should wait until the day you expect your period, I'm terrified I might have taken it too early. I honestly don't think I can make it until Tuesday when I finally have my appointment with my OB-GYN without cracking from the anxiety. I took the test two days after my period was supposed to start, which was also 12 days after I actually had sex, but the box says you need to wait at least 19 days after the encounter for it to be accurate. I'm just so confused... I feel like I'm going crazy with all this worrying...

Every single test I’ve taken came back perfectly accurate. That includes the one from Victoria's Secret

Morning, everyone..

So, my man got a little too carried away yesterday and we didn't exactly wrap things up on schedule..
It turns out I was right in the middle of my fertile window, since my last period started back on June 15th..
Now I’m just sitting here playing the waiting game to see if I’m actually going to be a mom...

Look, I hate to be the one to break it to you... but even that "pulling out on time" method isn't actually contraception—it’s more like playing the lottery. 😳
If your cycle is textbook (say, 28 days), you still have a little bit of breathing room. Based on yesterday, you were likely around day 11, and ovulation usually hits around day 14... obviously, nothing is a 100% guarantee, but you're in a much better spot than if you had missed it by three or four days.
Fingers crossed for you...

Honestly, I have no idea yet... I haven't gotten my period. It’s probably just stress, right? I actually called the customer service line for Intim Plus, and the woman told me that if the test was taken on time—meaning, at the earliest on the day my period was expected—it should be accurate. But I didn't take it until two days after that... so who knows. I'll probably head to my OBGYN in the next few days to get some clarity. I'm really hoping it's just the heat or being stressed out...

Actually, she's in a worse spot.
Sperm can live inside the body for about five days just waiting for an egg. An egg only lives for about 24 hours, which is why the fertile window includes the days BEFORE ovulation, the day of, and maybe the day after.

So, she basically hit the jackpot. 🙂

(By the way, the "pulling out" method has a 20% pregnancy rate. That is NOT contraception. If you end up pregnant, it wasn't bad luck—you just did exactly what happens when you use that method.)

Why don't you just go grab the Plan B pill?

So, looking at my ovulation calendar, I'm technically in my fertile window right now, even if I haven't hit that absolute peak yet.

Look, I’m not exactly thrilled about the idea of getting pregnant, so I'm definitely not looking to make that happen right now.

If only Coca-Cola could just hand out babies... honestly, I wouldn't even mind.

If you ask me, he could've just finished the job since he already had his hands in the cookie jar.

Exactly—we are talking about that three-day window surrounding ovulation.
In most cases, sperm survives for about three days (though if the semen analysis is perfect and the internal environment is "optimal" 😁 ), you might get up to five.
According to some of the more recent studies out there, the egg itself may only live for anywhere from 4 to 12 hours—so you really have to hit that 🤣
window perfectly.

Even with a perfect cycle, anything can happen. Life gets stressful and suddenly your body decides to gift you fertile days right when you think it's impossible. 😬

Precisely my point... which is why I made sure to mention from the start that this wasn't a guarantee.

My cycle used to be clockwork—like, seriously, never an issue,
but now? I have no clue if I'll actually make it to July 12th on schedule...
Man, if only we could get a heads-up on this stuff ahead of time...

I’ve been dealing with these absolutely brutal headaches for the last four days, and honestly, I just feel like garbage. On top of that, my period is about 3 or 4 days late... My last time having sex was maybe 15 to 20 days ago, so I went ahead and took a pregnancy test yesterday, but it came back NEGATIVE!

Hmm... It could be anything from stress to just timing. Honestly, I’d suggest waiting a little longer before testing again. If it is happening, those pregnancy hormone levels might still be too low for the test to pick up right now.😍
