When I lean on my guy's stomach, I hear all kinds of weird noises. It’s definitely not like he’s pregnant or anything 😁

Look, if you aren't feeling like your usual self or you're feeling crappy, just go see an OBGYN or a GP (depending on what's bothering you). I mean, when something actually hurts, you either hit up a doctor or just deal with it at home with some tea 😉

Brandon Cruz2, if the test says it isn't, then it isn't. Period.😍
I mean, there are like a hundred different reasons why it could be running late, right?
Look, we women aren't exactly simple creatures.

Alright, so about five days ago I had sex and, well... 😍 We kind of lost control a little bit, and he finished inside me twice.
Just to be clear, I was right in the middle of my fertile window—I’m pretty sure I was actually ovulating that day.
For the last few days, I’ve been feeling absolutely wiped out. My stomach is killing me, too—like, really sharp, intense pain in my lower abdomen—and I’m just about to go check my temperature, which is sitting at 98.6°F. I know all of this can be pregnancy symptoms, so I wanted to ask: is it even possible to start feeling this stuff after only a few days?
Help me out here... 😘

EDIT: I just read that intestinal cramping can also be a symptom, and let me tell you, the cramping I'm dealing with right now is brutal...

I think it might be a bit early to jump to conclusions... you won't really start feeling actual symptoms until after you miss your period.

My husband and I played it safe for two years, even when we first got married. I was always tracking my cycle, trying to figure out the fertile windows just so he’d know when to pull out. But the first time we actually tried during ovulation? He finished inside, and boom—I was pregnant.😍I didn't even feel any symptoms until a month later.
But honestly, everyone is different. You see people struggling for years without even tracking ovulation, and still nothing happens.
If you want a baby, you pray to God that you're pregnant😍, and if you don't, you pray you aren't. 🙂
Jokes aside, five days is way too soon to jump to conclusions. Even if you are pregnant, a test probably won't show anything yet. Just hang tight and take a test in two weeks.

I'm with her on this one.👍
But look, it’s pretty obvious this was the plan all along, right? Because let's be real, you can't exactly "accidentally" hit those fertile days twice in a row... I know, sounds harsh... but whatever. Wait, now I'm making you paranoid... but honestly, look at how many women track their cycles for months, even years, trying to time it perfectly and still nothing happens... so yeah, just sit tight and wait...

I agree—it’s far too early to be looking for symptoms. At most, you might feel some minor implantation cramping, but even that's minimal—maybe accompanied by a little spotting. Your daytime temperature doesn't mean much; you need to take your basal temperature first thing in the morning, right when you wake up. 😘

I honestly had no idea. And what exactly am I looking for? What kind of morning temp actually signals pregnancy?
Ladies, thank you! 😘 Maybe I’m just so desperate for a baby that I’m hallucinating symptoms, or maybe I’ve just picked up some random stomach flu. 😳
I remember when I was pregnant for the first time—which, unfortunately, ended in an abortion because I was just too young at the time—I had a low-grade fever of around 98.6°F almost from day one. I really let myself get my hopes up back then. 🙂

I second that statement.👍 How "little" did we get carried away? It feels more like you all were the ones who got a bit too carried away...🤣

Tracking your basal body temperature throughout your entire cycle can pinpoint when ovulation occurred—and eventually, if you've conceived. During the first half of the cycle (pre-ovulation), temperatures stay lower; once ovulation hits, they climb and remain elevated until your next period, at which point they drop again. If you're pregnant, those temperatures just stay high. As for exact numbers? That varies from person to person.
There’s plenty of info online regarding basal temperature tracking—it might be worth doing some reading before you decide to start monitoring yours.
Good luck.🙂

I'm with her...
We spent seven years being careful, and then one day it just felt like "now's the time," so we decided to go for it... and it happened immediately. Two times and there was the baby... so fingers crossed for you...
As for proof... just give it another 10 to 14 days, then take a test...

My mom used to tell me that back when she first found out she was pregnant, her breasts didn't get all swollen and tender during that month like they usually did before her period... they felt softer, more supple, and then only started feeling heavy much later on... I'm wondering if anyone here knows anything about that, because mine haven't felt swollen at all, even though they usually swell up like balloons right after ovulation... and honestly, I am just beyond exhausted... I feel like I could sleep for an entire week straight...😕

I ran two tests today, both seven days before my period was actually due, and they both came back positive...
If you happen to know exactly when ovulation occurred, the earliest you can realistically take a test is twelve days after ovulation.

My first—and probably only—real symptom was some pretty intense breast tenderness. They got hard and painful out of nowhere. I just realized online that a slightly elevated temperature is actually a thing during pregnancy—basically staying at that post-ovulation level—so I guess I can count that as another "hidden" sign. My temp was up for a while, nothing crazy, but enough that I actually thought I was coming down with a flu or something. Turns out, nope.😍
driftingseal3 Congrats on the gains... nice. 👍

I don't have a single symptom to point to, but I am just so incredibly exhausted that it feels almost unbearable... there isn't any PMS or anything else acting up... yet, I found myself heading out to pick up some folic acid today... just as a precaution, really... we were pretty active lately, so the chances are definitely there... and since it’s right around ovulation, my mental math suggests I might be looking at a positive in about 8 or 9 days... and yet, for absolutely no reason at all, I can't help but feel like it won't happen... I'm not even feeling particularly anxious or on edge, which makes it all the more strange
